Its good to be back. I said sometime ago that they have startedf compiling the list even before the closing date. Someone insulted me and asked me to shut up. Well, the truth is that some people here know more than they are saying. Insults will make those that know to keep quiet. If you know you aploed for DSSC and your course wasnt listed, pls forget it, it wont work. The army officer in charge of compiling the list is a colonel and he rejects anyone whose course is not advertised. For those whose courses are on the list, be optimistic. I see some nairalanders making the list. As for me, i am out already.

Pls i need all the info i can get.. What are the requirements of anambra state SSS? Can someone submit for me? Can i send my application by post? I live in lagos and have a busy work schedule. Pls someone who has submitted in anambra state should kindly answer and tell me all i need to know

Bliss, pls list out the names and chest number of the five people chosen for anambra state. SSC.

Pls how many was chosen per state. Are their reserves on the list? Can someone post the link here.

The only way to know if the list is out is by checking daily punch or daily trust newspaper. I guess we have to wait till after the new year. If the list doesnt come out today...it is gonna be next year. Anyone who has acess to punch can always check and give us a feedback here. VICTORY IS FROM GOD ALONE.

Guys any info. The NAF list is out. I guess the army is taking its time before releasing the list. The good news is the the deputy chairman of the board in kaduna... BRIG.GEN T.C UDE has been promoted to the rank of a major general. I belive that the list will be out after the new year if it doesnt come out next week. VICTORY IS FROM GOD ALONE!

There is no way NN will train with NAF. NAF first batch is reporting for training at the airforce base in kaduna. NA will start training by the middle or towards january ending. Their list will be out after the new year if it doesnt come out next week. I dont know about NN, but i know they train with NA at the NDA old site. Training schedules change. Wthe list will be released when its time. VICTORY IS FROM GOD ALONE.

Who was once a receptionist in a hotel in v.I is now a lieutenant dssc/2012 in bonny cantonment lagos, she didn't apply for d course buT her name came out in d final list, all tanks to a maj gen.

my dear, GOD was behind it. If she wasnt destined to be there, she wont even make it. Pray ceaselessly to GOD. He can you anybody to help you. Many people who didnt come for the screening, will make the final list. Just pray hard and do what you need to do. Just know that if GOD isnt behind it, even if you give ur name to the chief of army staff, your name wont come out.

my brother, it is only GOD that can help you. Though he is gonna make use of a human being to help. But i will advise that u pray and seek his help. As for the maj.gen, God can use him to help you but remember.....VICTORY IS FROM GOD ALONE.

I heared that the few people remaining from batch B who didnt get appoinment letters in august still have their names with inec HR. They may still be called based on replacement things. Pls did anyone here anything similar?

Those of you agitating for 28 days shold go to the thread for inec staff. This thread is for prospective inec staff especially those that attended the interview in may and were not given appointment letters.

Its gonna be an intersting military training for SSC cadets. From mountain climbing to rapelling, jungle warfare which is about 10 days camping in a desert in yobe state, counter terrorism and insurgency training in kontagora. Weapons handling and shooting at kachia, subjects on military tactics at NDA, numerous bush exercises and mock battles. Its gonna be fun. Its an experience worth having.

9izguy: There was no master copy of all your credentials. It was a visual screening. Depending on the Officer that handles your State, some error can be ignored if only you can convince him from some questions he will ask you. Though the one that handled my State was a bit strict & one of my friend was affected (evicted) by an obvious error on his WAEC Cert. So ensure you keep all your credentials in order most especially Birth Cert,Primary Sch Leaving Cert./Testimonial,WAEC/NECO,Degree/HND Cert. & NYSC Cert.
Many Candidates were screened out becoz through Certificates & such problems include : over age,some common error in their cert.,incomplete cert., fake cert.,e.t.c. (all through visual screening & some simple calculations). Schools Candidates passed through were not visited at this stage but will be visited when one must have been shortlisted for training.

abeychemica: The advice i will like to give is dont ever go with an abnormal ECG to the selection board.either it is abnormal or not.i dnt believe they read any graph,i dnt tink they hv dat luxury of time to do dat.

hmm...someone i know had a normal ECG on his result and he was screened out. Another had abnormal ECG AND scaled through.

Pls, did anyone here have an abnormal ECG reading and still scale through the medicals? I know a few pple that had normal ECG on their results and they were still screened out. Someone told me they look at the graph and the readings beside it that they do not look at the summary given by the ECG machine. In other words, someone might have a good graph and readings and the machine will summarise it as borderline or abnormal ECG, while someone may have a normal ECG but the graphs and readings are not ok. I need clarifications from those that scaled the medicals and faced the board.

Does anyone has an idea if the selection boards have submitted their reports to the military secretary. This wil enable us know when the final list may be released.

Training starts january. I belive NN and NAF will be ready by then. The plan is for both RC and SSC to do their POP by september 2014.

hmmm..wats ur source? Thought the list will come out next month. Last year, the list came out 17 days after the screening. But it might not be the same this year.

I cross checked the final list for last year(SSC 41) with those shortlisted to face the selection board. I discovered dat many people that were not shortlisted to face the selection board made the final list. Some where called to report for training and their names were not on the list advertised in the papers. 5 multiplied by 36 states is 180. But 197 reported for cadet training. Any explanations? This this mean that God can still help some pple against all odds.

Now that both the SSC and DSSC selection board has been concluded, is there any view on when the final list will come out. Heared training starts january so they can do a joint POP with RC61 of the NDA in sept 2014. Any other view?
