bliss11: Good morning house. Pls has any1 heard dis rumor dat d final list will comprise of 8 names and 2 reserveozichukwu its me ifeanyi. Was with you in KD. Ma chest number was AN30. Wel i think wat u heared was the number for RC(NDA chaps). Noone knows how many pple will be selected but there may be an increase. Thse secretary of the board said 5, but i think the dept of military secretary is the only one that can answer that. |

From the advert.....its only those that applied for the supritendent cadre that will be shortlisted for aptitude tests. Those that applied for the inspector and immigration assisstant cadre will be shortlisted for interview. Now that applications have closed. We have to wait for the consultant to sift through the applications and shortlist people. |

I was screened out in kaduna based on medicals. For those that faced the selection board in kaduna....was brig.gen T.C UDE part of the board? When will the final list be out? Is it possible for one to make the final list even if one is screened out for medicals? |

The senate issue isnt gonna delay the recruitment. This is the way the senate pokes their nose everywhere. It happened with the INEC and NIMC recruitment. The government approved this recruitment. The immigration service wanted to establish border patrols that will be in charge of the our vast borders. We just wanna know how fast the recruitment will be. But i guest the shortlist and test may be done by next month. Lets keep hoping for the best. 2 Likes |

Results from the medical tests conducted has not been released. Many doctors and lab scientists were involved and there is no way sensitive info can leak like that. |

Medicals started yesterday in kaduna. The army conducted an aptitude test and selected the best 20 from each state. Certificate and age screening was done and some pple were sent home on sunday. Some states are still up to 20 while states like bayelsa have just 14 pple remaining. The results of the medicals may be out tomorrow or thursday. Its not easy! Victory is from GOD alone. |

DaYoungOfficer: Yea...the same thing in Enugu they wrote dia's in an open field nd it was also reported dat sum SSC guyz in Kaduna came with fake result whereas NA left we dat av authentic result...the question is how did dia names find dia way into NA final list.dats not true, nobody was caught with a fake result. Moreover NA shortlisted based on the documents pple submitted. God will help us all. Amen. |

Its not easy. We just finished writing an exam in kaduna. This is the first time exams will be written before credentials screening and medicals. May God see us through! |

For those that have attended the screening before, what is the first thing dat will be done once we report to camp? Its likely many pple wont come for the screening due to the airforce screening which started today. May God help us all. |

The thread is getting tensed up becos people who were not shortlisted for NA has move to the NN n NAF thread. Moreover everyone is tensed up especially some of us dat are 29 years and some months old......some of us will be 30 in 2-3 months time. |

Are you guys saying those born in oct, nov and december 1983 are not eligible? Hav a friend dat was born in november 1983.....i was born in dec 1983, we were both shortlisted without knowing anyone. We will be 30 in november and december respectively. "the army said in their advert that candidates should not be more than 29 by sept 2013" i think it means dat those who were 29 when they applied, but will be 30 by sept 2013 should not apply. Guys i need clarifications especially from those that hav done the screening before. Thanks. |

Many people still dont know there names are out. Some are finding it difficult to get a medical report due to the public holiday. So lets begin to discuss the various stages....those that have been there before should enlighten us. The first stage is the certificate screening and documentation. What would they check for? Many pple shortlisted were 29 years and some months old. What does the caveat "candidates should not be more than 29 years by september 2013" mean. Lets join hands and educate some of us who dont know about all this things. |

Getiing the medical report and ECG wasnt easy. Infact some people will have to wait till thursday due to the holiday. The soldiers were nice. Most applied and were not shortlisted. It really takes the Grace of God to scale through. Many people were becoming faint hearted when they heared the many hurdles they have to cross......certificate screening, medicals and the 3.2km race. Those using affidavits should be careful. Some might not notice dat due to the affidavit they swore to, the age they left primary skool was reduced to like 7-8 years. Dats automatic disqualification. Meehn....lotta pple really wanna wera that uniform. An officer told us that its God dat can make one scale through. Met someone who has faced the selection board four times and yet wasnt chosen. Ma pple, its not easy oooo. |

gambudu: @All. people should stop checking names for others.Reason is that some of the people asking you to check their names expecially at this moment are those shortlisted and have already seen their names.they just want you to advertise how lucky they are and exaust your MB.Go to the website u applied for NA and check.By now you should be reading current affairs and preparing ur bag and baggages to travel unstead of indirectly telling us u were shortlistedmy brother, it is not everyone that is internet savy like us. Many people dont know the list is out considering the fact that many had given up on it. Those in the far north may not know. Many people will miss the screening cos of that. Getting the medical report will be a bit difficult becos most government hospitals are on strike. There are public holidays and most hospitals wont function leaving out monday and thursday. So one needs to thinks and act fast. Military hospitals will be the best birth, but remember not all states hav military hospitals. So my brother, it is not everyone that is aware. Moreover the army hasnt sent sms as they used to do. The sms will create more awareness. So lets keep helping as we can. One love. 1 Like |

gambudu: for those whose names cameout for both dssc and ssc together.are u saying dat one can apply twice for both dssc and ssc and still be shortlisted without the army detecting it.my broda it is possible oo. Same thing happened last year. I guess its different commitees dat screen the Ssc and DSSc. Dats why they cant detect it. Also Godfatherism might have helped some of them too. They have deprived other people opportunities. Any way God knows best! |

Some people's name came out in both SSC and DSSC. They wil have to choose just one. If you wanna command troops and get trained as a real combat officer, choose SSC but if you just wanna practice the course you read in school and see less combat, chosse DSSC. |

The issue about some names appearing with blue colour remains a mystery. Only the army can give a reasonable explanation for that. |

joker5180: it is not an automatic ticket for them but they hv upper hand if they fulfill NA criteria- age, height, weight etcdoes it mean that everyone that was shortlisted were withing the age limit? Why do they need to screen again in kaduna or enugu? |
