AustineE1: ....the usual suspects has taken to the street to kill innocent people and as we all know,it will soon be swept under the carpet. The street of northern Nigeria is watered by the blood of the innocent and its crying out for justice. In my own part of the country, those who kill people are known as miscreants, criminals and are made to face justice when caught but in the north miscreants(Almajiris) are usually above the law because there evil acts are often backed by either religious or political leaders. This is the story of Nigeria. RIP to the innocent! I wonder where your part of the country is. Not the jungle where justice is dispensed by hooligans using the tyre “necklace”. A simple suspicion of a pickpocket or traffic accident or a witch (in 21st century) attracts lynching and this has not reduced the crime rate in those lawless streets and market places. When have criminals started facing justice other than the popular necklace? |

Yet the same Ipot youth that are applauding him criticise FG for calling it senseless killing too. Ben Maurice Bruce have turned silverbird to a political party. hypocrites. Yeah we now there, the Nigeria of our dream, thanks to buhari's administration.
I don't hate him, na my family? But they raised our hopes, they promised the change Goodluck n other past leaders didn't promise .
We are really having a great time enjoying the change, NASS REFUSED TO PASS LAWS THAT WILL ALLOW THE USE OF RECOVERED LOOTED MONIES FOR NIGERIANS ;- Many people erroneously believed that President Buhari is not fighting corruption; because none of those already arrested/detained/accused by the EFCC has been convicted. But President Buhari wants to set up a Special Anti-Corruption Court and he named the bill as "The Special Criminal Courts Acts" which has been submitted to the NASS (National Assembly) since last year, but they refused to look into it & never thought of passing it into law. The same thing is happening to the "Whistle Blowers Protection Acts" meant to protect whistle blowers from injury, death, economic sabotage, job termination, etc... They refused to attend to this bill also. The Senate told the government point blank on the bill of "Anti-Money Laundering Acts" that they will not pass it into law. The bill has been with the Senate since 2015. And If corruption is not tackled headlong and the judiciary re-engineered to tackle corruption, how will Nigeria move from the status of Developing Country to become a DEVELOPED NATION? Most of the funds recovered cannot be accessed until the cases are concluded at the Supreme Court. Its about N2trillion potentially lying fallow that the government cannot touch until final judgment at the Supreme Court is pronounced. That is why the passage of Anti-Corruption Courts Legislation is critical in order to accessing these funds because such cases at the Special Court Level will be concluded more expeditiously. Now this same NASS is asking for 2.3% of ALL FEDERAL ALLOCATION, for their "Constituency Projects". Can we now see the true enemies of Nigeria? There is a perception deficit. Many people cannot even obtain the genuine information of this Administration, because a dangerous narrative is being sold to people that President Buhari caused the recession (which started since 2014) Madam KNOW ALL, our 1st ever rated economist, warned us early enough of possible recession happening. If this perception deficit is not corrected, President Buhari will not be able to get the support he needed to put his programmes through, especially the ones that needs enabling laws from the NASS. Addendum to fellow Nigerians - Remember that terrorists only understand one language and that is Terror. We must all unleash terror on these NASS members so they will understand we are no more going to sit back and watch them to continuously destroying Nigeria. Share it round, both at home and at abroad until every Nigerian is aware and ready to treat the f**k up of their REAL ENEMIES and DESTINY WASTERS ably represented by NASS Members. We must shame the devil called NASS. Just let us start showing them that we know who they represents, i.e. Evil, the Underworld Wickedness, Satanic Occultist. PLS JOIN THE REVOLUTION. JOIN THE REAL CHANGE.... BY FIRE BY FORCE. #Its Operation Sack The Senate Members# |

DevdanSanguine: Lol! It does actually. Ahmadu is a pretty common name and it's neither Hausa nor Fulani. Fulanis don't adopt Hausa surnames nor do Hausas adopt Fulani surnames. The fact that he was educated at that time even suggests further that he's Fulani because they being most the ruling class were the first to get educated in the north. Anywhere you see the name dikko or barkindo etc especially a surname then that's a Fulani man.
When it comes to first names all ethnicities adopt Hausa names especially minorities who I think use Hausa names more than hausas themselves. Ahmadu is the same as Ahmad and is variant of Muhammadu or Mohammed, other variations include Mamman, Hamma, Modu. |
