FOR THE RECORDS:There were two judgments secured by Abdul Rasheed Maina! One of the judgment held that his appointment was illegally and wrongly terminated because his right to fair hearing was trampled on . The Court ordered his reinstatement forthwith. There was no appeal filed against this judgment.The other judgment secured by Maina set aside the warrant for arrest issued by a magistrates' court in favour of EFCC . There was also no appeal .The Counsel to Maina now used these judgments to write to the Federal Civil Service Commission for his reinstatement.The Commission wrote to the Attorney General for his legal opinion. The Attorney General then advised that the Federal Civil Commission should obey these judgments . The Federal Civil Service Commission is the body constitutionally empowered to recruit , promote and discipline civil servants in the mainstream federal government bureaucracy. It is created by Section 153 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria ,1999 . It is an independent body constituted by experienced people of unblemished integrity ! Appointment of members of the Federal Civi service Commission by the President is subject to confirmation by the Senate . The Federal Civil Service Commission met , deliberated fully on the matter and then held that Maina's case has merit and he should be reinstated as ordered by the Court.So the Attorney General dis not bring back Maina through the backdoor. In all this what was the role of the EFCC ? Why didnt the EFCC appealed against the judgment seeking aside it warrant of arrest? Why didnt the EFCC arrest Maina who has been in the country since April 2016?Let the whole Pension saga be investigated by a Judicial Inquiry so that Maina can explain how the over two hundred billon recovered by his Committee deposited in the CBN was stolen ! Is that it those who stole the recovered money are behind the hype and frenzy we are seeing ?
Jonathan and his shameless gang of looters will have more explain to do to Nigerians.

His wife and daughter confirmed this. If PMB is actually in control he would have sack the head of service, and interior minister for playing a part in reinstating maina. He would also have implement the report of SSG and NIA probe. ........Things are falling apart..

And if he does that without investigation you will call him a dictator who cannot tolerate democracy. PMB is right in this case. Stop the appointment and find out who was responsible for it and then act, that's leadership.

Arrest for what? For accepting the new position given to him? He is already under investigation. Who ever reinstated him now is the one to be arrested and immediate investigation is what is required to grab that person. Please be honest and logical.

R.I.P. to the departed. I'm almost 100% sure what the soup they ate was not Ewedu. What they ate is called RAMA in the north while Ewedu is called AYOYO in the north. While both RAMA and Ayoyo (ewedu) are leafy shrubs consumed as food they have many differences and one of the major differences is that RAMA meal is not slimy , it is not "hydraulic " like ewedu (ayoyo). However both ewedu and RAMA belong to the family Malvaceae the RAMA belongs to the genus Hibiscus and specie cannabinus .Ewedu on the other hand belongs to the family Malvaceae but the genus corchorus and has many species. I think the common ewedu specie in Nigeria in corchorus olitorius.
