Abuja — The Federal Government, the 36 states and their local government areas have so far shared N1.4 trillion from the federation account, being revenue generated in the first quarter of 2017. The breakdown is contained in the monthly Federation Account Allocation Committee, FAAC, report obtained by the News Agency of Nigeria, yesterday, in Abuja. The key agencies that remit funds into the federation account are Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC; Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, and Nigeria Customs Service. The total revenue shared in January between the federal, states and local governments was N430.16 billion, meaning that federal took N168 billion, states, N114.28 billion and local governments, N85.4 billion. The federation grossed in N514 billion in February and Federal Government’s share was N200.6 billion, states, N128.4 billion and local governments, N96.52 billion. However, in March, revenue generation dipped lower, grossing N466.9 billion, and from it, the Federal Government got N180.5 billion, state governments, N116.5 billion and local governments, N87.5 billion. The report showed that before distribution, state liabilities were deducted. The liabilities paid by the states in the first quarter, included an external debt of N8.73 billion, contractual obligations of N30.15 billion and other deductions amounting to N50.23 billion. BALTIMORE Four female prison guards in Baltimore fell pregnant to the same inmate, according to authorities who have busted a major smuggling gang inside the jail system.

Two of the women tattooed the inmate's name on their bodies
It looks like only female wardens are assigned to male inmates in Baltimore.

Youngadvocate:
And it was not an injustice and inequality that the South who produce over 65% of Nigeria's revenue pockets less than 40% of the share?

Let the rubbish keep burning and let our use.less leaders in the South continue to keep mute just because of the loot they share.

That's what Nnamdi Kanu saw and said Nigeria is irredeemable hence, his unflinching agitation for Biafra.

The North have made it clear that they aren't going to give away their undeserved enormous advantages in Nigeria; an advantage that has marred development in the country.

They have refused, condemned and fought aggressively against every inch of process that may lead to actual restructuring of Nigeria yet, they can't provide an alternative structure that will engender development in the country.

This is what they see: a Nigeria solely owned by the North, that must service the interest of the North first, that must be dominated by the North alone. Anything to the contrary is a gross flouting of their "Fundamental Rights," (the born to rule right).

So, when the North through the federal government vigorously fought against Nnamdi Kanu who was already changing the status quo, the gullible minds and the very uninformed never understood why but jumped into the propaganda that Kanu was an agent of "Hate and Division."

Unfortunately, we the South will continue to suffer the it.
What does Biafra produce? be specific.

[FROM OUR INBOX] A Soldier Writes From Battle Field

Dear civilians of Nigeria this message is meant to change ur thinking towards us. Looking at other countries, people give respect to their soldiers and these soldiers are not working as hard as we.

Nigerian Soldiers are not ur enemies, the enemies are Boko Haram, Kidnappers,Armed Robbers And Ritualist. We are facing them for you while u run away from them.

Take for instance, if there is an attack u cannot go there but to run off the place to avoid death but we with just one life like you will run to it and make it stop.

We can die as well because we have blood in our veins.
You should clap for our struggles and not talk bad about us, u should pray for us, not wish us the same thing our enemy Boko Haram wish us as well.

Before i joined military, i thought Soldiers were bullies but wen i joined i got to understand that the training makes us a better person because if we have to act the way we have experience life it will be very bad but our training have made us better people because thats the programming.

Stop adding to Soldiers problem and give us our little respect as warriors.
Our soldiers die everyday for the country. If you want to know more, come for the training and lets post you to Maiduguri, Chad or Cameroon then you will understand our pains too.

Gallant Soldiers please pass this message on till all Nigerian will see it. Cos when ever I remember all I and my regulars went through water fell from my eyes.

GOD BLESS NIGERIAN ARMY, NAVY AND AIR FORCE

That's why we are saying that there is no place for an igbo man in Nigeria...

You can't use your army to intimidate others into being Nigerians but deep down you still despise them and refuse to carry everyone along...
No nation prospers like that
But my friend you your selves are not serious. King Nnamdi Kanu asked you to leave the zoo and go back home , the Arewa youths gave you almost five months to tidy up your shops and move , you shouted blue murder and some of your leaders and chiefs were begging to be allowed to stay.So what do you really want? Just call your Abuja legislators, ministers all back home as well as police and other federal security services staff , judges, those brilliant university lectures all over Nigeria and the fantastic footballers. The zoo will confirm your seriousness and in no time you will be the newest country in Africa. I really want you to go.
