Let me ask you a question Bros. How does the information in the Book of Enoch help our Christian Life?

I have read the post up by Pastormustwacc, and I'm wondering, I need to be a better folower of Jesus, doing as He commanded me. I need the grace to love Him with all of my everything and love my neighbor as I love myself. And here is the book of Enoch and reading through it has nothing to do with Spiritual nourishment. So. of what good is it to my Christian walk?

Will it build my faith in Christ better than my faith is right now?

Will it foster hope in me assuming I'm in a bad place hope wise?

What will it do for me? Just the information that It was quoted in the main Bible and that Enoch wrote it. Or the info about Angels and Demons? Aren't we as Christians admonished to pay no attention to the ministry of Angels? Even the good ones? So why bother with this?

Just that, one sometimes gets carried away by the excitements and jumps into threads to comment even when it's unnecessary. But, I promised myself not to talk, think, or read abt what won't benefit me Spiritually and mentally.

So, I regret making you bring us down here, it's very irrelevant to me. I'm so sorry.

Whatever Enoch wrote or did not write this book, it adds nothing to my Christian life. I have the Bible to read and adhere to, if only I can adhere to the teachings from Matt. Chapters 5 to 8, I wld be a Saint. I don't know why I shd go looking for more obscure teachinag.

The Life of Angels and Demons is not important to me, since I cannot even on my own partition a good Angel to do anything for me without going through God.

What's the point of knowing about them so deeply?

I'm very careful about the Deep things of satan, that's why Rebecca Brown's books are kept at a distance. Keep your heart with diligence. Satan knows how delicate the heart is, hence takes advantage of it.

The only problem I have with the Book of Enoch is its authorship.

Who wrote the Book of Enoch?

The First Five books of the Bible were written by Moses. Even Moses was not there when the events he wrote abt happened. YHWH had to take him back in time to see and write.

Enoch was 6th from Adam. How could he have written that book when the book of Genesis of which his existence was mentioned was written by Moses is retrospect?

I'd be settled and accept it if it's authorship shall be confirmed.
