In a 8-minute audio uploaded on Youtube, the lecturer was heard bargaining sex with the
victim who sounded pretty much like a young lady. According to
a very close friend of the victim (who is a
200-level student) in the audio clip who
claimed anonymity, the
girl missed his class test.

The lecturer however used the opportunity to
invite her to his office for s*x as the only
alternative to pass the course.

The report attached to the YouTube clip shows that the school management, up till May 30, 2016, failed to see to the matter and
therefore left the student in great threat and despair.

However, according to
Sahelnewsonline correspondent, though the university is yet to make official remarks on this issue, recent report gathered so far has shown that Idiagbon has been suspended by the school authority.

There are claims that Idiagbon gets girls to
become his prey in two ways–making them to

In addition, this man has no pity and can crush even male students that will not leave their ‘target’. I can only describe Idiagbon as Sex- for-Grade Master (SGM),” said Babajide Roland, former student of the
department.

“This lecturer tells his students to their face that they will fail his
course (i.e. Syntax), a
challenging course to most students. A classmate once told me he wanted to sleep with her in his office. She told him she was
engaged and he replied that’s not new; she then lied that she was pregnant and he replied it is even sweeter with
pregnancy.

Anyway, what happened next my friend didn’t tell me,”
Lamented Mrs. Adeyemi L. Adedigba, a former student of Idiagbon.

About 95% of his students who were interviewed – both old and current – claimed that Idiagbon has accomplice who is his co-worker in the
department, Taofeeq Alabi (popularly called Michael Jackson).

Some of these students say that these two UniIlorin English department
lecturers are in charge of students’ results compilation team and volunteer most times to serve as members of examination committee in order to ease perpetration of
their atrocities.

In the video, the victim told the lecturer she does not like being touched in the boobs, especially when she is
menstruating.

But the lecturer still insisted. He however ordered her out of his office, saying she is not the only one and that he has enough girls that can serve
him but she should never come to him for
help again.

Ting Su, a 29-year-old woman, caught her husband and twin cheating on her and followed them to a shopping centre using a mobile phone tracker.

According to Metro News, she went to find husband Cheng, 30, who was completely n*ked in a car along with her sister.

• Senate uncovers alleged N447b duty waivers fraud

• Anti-graft agency releases PTAD chief, Dudafa
Nigeria’s recovered loot has increased by at east N6.66 billion. The amount is part of the N23.3 billion ($115 million) election campaign bribe allegedly
distributed by former Minister of Petroleum
Resources, Deziani Alison-Madueke, through Fidelity Bank.

While the chief executives of Sterling Bank and Access Bank
reportedly refunded N5 billion and $5 million (N1 billion) respectively, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has recovered N17 million from former Secretary to the Government of Bauchi State, Alhaji Ahmed Ibrahim Dandija, and two others from the
state.

It also reportedly recovered N49 million from Fidelity Bank. The amount is said to be the profit the bank made for helping Alison-Madueke to share the $115 million to designated people in the country. The aggregate of these
recovered funds is N6.66 billion while N16.64billion is yet to be recovered.

The $115 million which was allegedly used to bribe Independent National Electoral commission (INEC) officials as well as the then ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)
members nationwide, was given to Fidelity Bank by the former minister, who is currently being investigated in the United Kingdom on money laundering and corruption charges.

She was said to have sourced $88 million from some oil companies while she contributed N26 million. She was said to have
used four companies to deposit the money into the bank, with the mandate that the bank
distributes it nationwide.So far, N6.66 billion of the fund has been recovered while the EFCC continues investigation to recover the remaining fund.

Meanwhile, the Senate yesterday uncovered N447.42 billion fraud
committed by past administration on import duty waivers,
concessions and grants by different Ministries,
Departments and Agencies (MDAs) of government from 2011 to 2015.

Presenting the report, Chairman, Senate Adhoc Committee on
Import Duty Waivers,
Concessions and Grants, Senator Adamu Aliero (APC, Kebbi Central) said the report was a follow-up to a
motion moved on the floor of the Senate in January this year. The
Senate had subsequently set up an adhoc committee to investigate the claims in the motion and report back to it within a specified time.

The EFCC said that it released suspended Director General of the
Pension Transitional
Arrangement Directorate (PTAD), Nelly Mayshak and
former aide to ex- President Goodluck Jonathan, Warimopei Dudafa, yesterday.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo says Nigeria is facing a very dire situation on power supply.

He was speaking in Lusaka, Zambia, yesterday at the commencement of the
African Development Bank (AfDB) annual general meeting, with the theme "Energy and Climate Change".

According to Osinbajo, 45 percent of those who lack access to power in the world are
from Africa with "almost half of that African share are in Nigeria."

"We are faced with a very dire situation, and
in most of Africa, we
simply don't have power and without power, there is very little that can be done,"
he stated.
He added: "For us, priority today is development, and we
have to take development seriously.

We think that renewable energy and
all of the concern about climate change are important, but we must prioritise development."

He noted that Nigeria is one of the major hydro-carbon enriched nations; the situation which, according to him, makes fossil fuel important.

The vice president described coal as equally important, saying Nigeria had to leverage all it could get from fossil fuel.

He also told the session that Nigeria has the capacity for solar energy and would tap
into it, stating however
that "We are dealing
with a major developmental problem."

He, however, explained the limitations of solar
power, saying "We
must bear in mind that
for industries, the base
load power is critical and is so much more
difficult to get from
solar power. So, we
must understand that our immediate need
requires the base load
power that can move
us forward quickly, and
that we would get
from fossil fuel, hydro
power and coal fire
plants."

The Federal Government is formulating key strategies to tackle incessant attacks on pipelines by militants in
the Niger Delta, President Muhammadu
Buhari has said.

Speaking through Minister of Defence, Mansur Dan-Ali, yesterday at the Nigerian Navy Diamond
Jubilee Anniversary 2016 International Maritime Conference in
Lagos, he said the plans
would bring a lasting solution to the crisis in
the region.

He said by the time the plan was fully developed, the bombing
of pipelines and gas installations in the Niger
Delta would be a thing
of the past.

“We are currently meeting to discuss the
recent bombing of pipelines and destruction of oil and
gas facilities in the region. Very soon we
will come up with strategic plans on how
to deal with the issue,”
Buhari said.

In his remarks, the Chief of Naval Staff,
Vice Admiral Ibok Ibas,
said that the conference would
discuss collaborating
commitment to find
solution to maritime
challenges in the country and in Africa,
particularly at the Gulf
of Guinea.

Ibas said the maritime crimes and threats at the Gulf of Guinea called
for serious concern as it
affected economic lifeline of member states.

In his address, Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode of
Lagos State, represented by the
Deputy Governor, Dr
Idiat Adebule, said the
challenge of sea pirates
had accounted for about 30 percent of attacks in African regional waters between 2003 and
2011.

2. Ese Oruru

The kidnapping of Ese Rita Oruru, the youngest child of Charles Oruru and Rose
Oruru, occurred on 12 August 2015 at her mother's shop in Yenagoa local government area, Bayelsa State. Ese, who
was 13 years old at the
time, was abducted by
man named Yunusa Dahiru (alias Yellow) and
taken to Kano, where she was raped, forcibly Islamized and married off without her parents
consent. The conversion and marriage took place in the palace of the Emir
of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.

Ese's story first caught the attention of media
outlets when her parents pleaded with
the public for her release. Efforts to return the young teenager to her parents
proved futile. However,
on 29 February 2016,
Ese was reported to have been rescued by Kano State Police and placed in custody of the
Nigerian government.
She was later revealed
to be five months pregnant with her kidnapper's child after
being released.

Various leaders, public figures and youth groups condemned
Dahiru's actions. Human
rights lawyer, Ebun Adegboruwa, called the
incident a "clear case of
child trafficking" and "a
worse form of corruption." Kano State government, through its Information, Youths and Sports Comissioner, Malam Garba, denied any involvement and
demanded the culprit be
prosecuted since the Constitution and Islamic
teaching abhor abduction and forced
marriage.

Ese Rita Oruru was born on 22 February 2002 to parents Charles and Rose Oruru from Ughelli North, Delta State. She has three siblings, a sister Patricia and two brothers, Onome and Kevin. Her family lived in Opolo, Yenagoa in Bayelsa State, Nigeria, where her mother Mrs. Oruru operated her food vending business.

While growing up, Oruru became an active member in the Christian community. Her brother described her as "one of the strongest Scripture Union members; I know her very well. Then, she also used to tell me to come and join the SU.

She did evangelism during break time most times." Oruru was a JSS 3 student at Opolo Community Secondary School. A math lover, her career dream was to become a nurse. One of her school teachers, Mrs. Douye said she was brilliant and humble. She revealed that Oruru's abduction prevented her from participating in the Junior Secondary School Certificate Examination.

Amina Ali Nkeki is the first of the 219 schoolgirls to be freed since the immediate aftermath of their capture.

Chibok community leader Hosea Abana Tsambido told the Uzomedia that she is 19 years old. She is from Mbalala, which is about 10km (6 miles) from Chibok.

Amina Ali Nkeki (1997, Borno State) born is a girl from Nigeria. More than two years ago she was kidnapped by terrorist group Boko Haram along with other schoolgirls from her boarding school in Chibok in Borno, northeast Nigeria.

Amina Ali Nkeki is the first of more than 200 kidnapped schoolgirls to be freed. On 5/17/2016 she was found wandering out of a forest with a "husband" and a baby.
