So it is not because of his Love Machine sex shop antics or his infecting everyone with HIV that they are suspending him but because he is a "patriot" and against muslim-muslim ticket.......interesting
Lol....honestly most of you guys replying can be nicer, we all get the advice you are tying to give the OP.
@OP Its sad, the question you asked is valid, "why are so many of our young ladies doing hookup and even proud of it". A society that worships money the way we do and has lost its shame is bound to have this kind of problem. To be honest, the future for this country looks very bleak.
immortalcrown: You have further proven you are the liar. Even the Wikipedia report you yourself posted does not say Ojukwu and his people were the ones that killed Boro.
Look at the olodo twisting the argument. You claimed:
You are the greatest liar I have seen on Nairaland. Boro helped Nigeria against Biafra independence, thinking Nigerai will favour him. Boro later realized Nigeria would not favour him and his own Ogoni people. He then wanted to separate from Nigeria and Nigeria killed him. You are the greatest liar I have seen on Nairaland.
You put the cart before the horse just to make it look like their was something remarkable and historic about Biafra, when the Niger Deltans claimed independence first and were crushed by the IGBO led FG and you even put the poor man to death before Gowon freed him. In life they say karma is a bitch, but at least own up to it and stop trying rewrite history.
By the way, Boro was killed while fighting Biafra, that is the only thing historians know for sure...stop trying to change the narrative.

What kind of revisionist rubbish is this? Thats why people don't like having arguments with you people, you are so emotional and full hubris that you can call night day just to win an argument.
I was going to post the wiki link the earlier poster just posted. But just to make it clear to all you lunatics, the first person to actively secede from Nigeria is Isaac Boro an IJAW, who wanted a Niger Delta Republic, and he was crushed by the federal government then which was led by the IGBO in Ironsi and Ojukwu.
If that affects how romantic you see your Biafra a few months later with the same people who crushed Boro, expecting different treatment, then you are still a bit human and their is hope for you. If not and you still feel you need to rewrite history and blame the Queen and everyone else for you failures....continue.

[b]Arab Leaders arrived in style with their convoys. But our African leaders shamelessly boarded a coach and were driven like a bunch of kids on excursion to a zoo.
I'm glad Buhari refused the invitation and sent VP Osinbanjo instead.
Have some self respect and dignity Africans. How would they ever respect you when you don't even respect yourselves?

So the measure of a Leader is if he arrives with motorcade or not?! Majority of the world that use buses are animals shey.....Blackman who did this to you!!!
For those interested in the truth and do not or have never felt inadequate/mediocre like the Original Poster and thus invent lies, Biden was the only world leader that came in a motorcade, Macron,Trudeau, Alabanese and the rest actually rode in a bus.
Nonexisting1: I like her breast but Gawd!!!, she is ugly.
Nonexisting1: Me, I can't. She looks dirty to me. Her chocolate color is dirty-ish. I like fair women, it's easy for me to find out if they are dirty or not. Chocolate people fit no bath 2days and you go dey think say na their dark complexion. If them bath too, you'll still be skeptical about their cleanliness. I dey tire for them abeg.
Black man and inferiority complex....keep making your oppressors laugh at you.
NiyiOmoIyunade: Have you tested any batteries in the real world?
I have tested several and even have an algorithm for determining battery capacity within 10 minutes of a large load being applied based on the voltage sag behaviour.
This tester you all use for support appears ignorant of proper procedures (see earlier responses to OjeySky)
Battery manufacturers publish a DoD vs cycle life curve for their battery as well as C ratings - these numbers they publish are based on tests.
I have said several times that Lithium chemistries are generally superior on cycle life and C rating but it does not mean that lead acid cannot take very large loads.
Well if my years of experience of living with LA in the real world is not testing them, I wonder what is.
Anyway, as the goal here is for all of us to learn the easy way (through experience prefeably than experiments that are costly)... I am sharing another video with more "English" and more expensive LA batteries used apparently....but its still the same findings which is consistent with what we LA users live with and know.
Not as easy and simple to follow as the other video, but still points to the same thing, which if I can use Ojesky's word,"LA batteries will not perform magic" no matter how expensive.
So I still stand by the claim earlier, "you cannot get 120A from a 100AH LA for 20 mins or anything close to that in real life use".
Obviously we await your test or any other test debunking this.
ojeysky: Thanks for sharing that YouTube link, he added just 76a load and voltage dropped instantly to 11v, at this point most inverter lvd will have been hit. Going further, within few seconds it was at 10v+. Now imagine if it was a 120a load everything will caput within few seconds. I have used lead acid and now lithium to appreciate the limit of both chemistries.
Up till today I use both of them depending on scenario, and for me I only wish I knew and started using Lithium much earlier. This time around people on this thread have enormous information to start early and not waste funds.
Finally a LA user will appreciate lithium performance when he/she finally experience it....I guess that is what makes Lithium users to be excited, it's never a spit at LA.
TBF Ojeysky, I am not accusing you directly of spitting at LA....but I do have to say the tune has changed when it comes to newbies jumping instantly on the Lithium train and I think that is worrying.
I just want us to understand that their is a necessary learning curve to this RE lifestyle, and LA is a very important part of the picture. I do not think your story on LFP would have been so successful if you had not learnt first with the patient and forgiving teacher LA is. Lets not believe we have star pupils here, people will make mistakes and its best they make those mistakes with LA because it is the better chemistry to learn with.
samnaija: The question that is rattling everyone is why?. Why would you derate your batteries such. What exactly do you want to achieve. I did not get it then, that is why asked whether he has a pure water factory to supply light to at night.
The truth is no sane would do it regularly, whether lithium or lead. I keep saying it and I am glad people are speaking. Batteries are just storage units with a shelf life, in renewable energy the goal is to maximize the use of the shelf life (cycle) as long has possible.
Then this behavior we are seeing lately on the thread about lithium and lead is sickening.
How many times has it been said on this forum lithium is superior to lead in chemistry !!!.
To prove points you paint sceneros that you can't practice regularly, and you know a lot people make their decisions entering renewable energy from this forum.
We are all learning, we should all put brakes on all this absurd sceneros and remind newbies on best practices for longevity.
My 2 cents is this, lately there is blame on both sides of the aisle on this repeated argument. LA clearly has some very important advantages over Lithium especially for a beginner, but clearly Lithium (especially LFP ) is the superior chemistry as a store of energy, simple.
When I first started reading this thread (donkey years ago) the advice was simple. If you are a newbie, stick to LA and follow the basics. After you have successfully passed the knowing how to use and not abuse LA test (2 years minimum if you ask me), then think of graduating to Lithium as it allows you to do so much more. I wonder why we can't keep the advice the same.
We don't need to spit at LA (for the Lithium lovers) nor do we need to trivialise or downplay the superiority of LFP as a battery chemistry ( for the LA adherents).
BTW, I have only ever used LA (and have thoroughly enjoyed it ) before anyone accuses me of bias.
NiyiOmoIyunade: Actually the backup time is in the range of 20 to 25 minutes when you load a healthy fully charged 100Ah battery with an 100a load.
Rough math - with a Peukert coefficient assumption of 1.3 - a 100Ah battery at C20 has capacity reduced to 40-41Ah at C1
You should research our dear Wilhelm *Peukert* and how battery capacity derates at high C rates - pertinent to note that the balance of Ah capacity in my rough math above was not lost, if you give the battery time to recover and the internal chemical processes to balance out, you can draw more energy from the system esp if you reduce the rate of discharge to normal limits
Again the point I made to @Saint2Ace that sparked all this frenzy is that no one uses their battery in a residential setting so as to discharge it within 1 hour and we should therefore be wary of using such an extreme scenario as an example so that non technical people are not misled.
There is no argument that Lithium chemistries are generally superior to lead acid, yet there should be no argument that there are valid and sensible use cases for lead acid as well.
Sir Niyi, I think its safe to say almost no 100AH LA battery can pass a 100 -120AH draw test for anything close to 20 minutes in real world use, mainly because that is not what they were designed for...while the Lithium chemistry is designed for exactly this kind of exigency.
Anyway, there are 100s of videos on youtube of people testing and even going over C1 ratings on Lithium but this was the closest thing I could find to anyone trying this on LA.....and I doubt any LA user would be surprised at the results of the tests.
Cantonese: Two brothers who never lived in peace. Actually at a time the younger one complained that the senior one took his wife. Musa was the NDLEA chairman who went round car shops to seize cars on charges of drugs and money laundering.
It's actually the other way round, the elder brother Musa accused the younger brother Ishaya (COAS) of housing and sleeping with his wife.
Also no, they are not the only sibling generals in the Nigerian Army, in fact their are quite a few.
New007: What were you guys expecting before? Lawless lawyers in a lawless country. Garbage in garbage out.
Besides you, I am struggling to see one sensible comment ..but if it's big brother or Buhari... they will come out in full force.
My two cents is this is overkill; the young lady, her father and Wole Olanipekun have been embarrassed enough which should serve as enough punishment. Why Akpata is hellbent on dragging this thing make me believe some sort of personal vendetta....I may be wrong but they all seem like a bunch of hypocrites to me.
BinamRex: What if the English man anglicizes "Dele" and puts the anglicized pronunciation in the dictionary? It means everyone learning English, whether they are in India, China, Malaysia, etc would have to use the anglicized pronunciation of Dele, not the Yoruba pronunciation.
Besides I have never heard a Bantu person say the word "tsetse fly" so I wouldn't know if the phonetic transcription of the word in the dictionary is different from the way a Bantu person would say it.
I appreciate your contribution bro.
You are shooting yourself in the foot with that argument; if they can Anglicise our words freely ( i.e. killing the meanings by pronouncing it wrongly) then every Nigerian should be allowed to Nigerianise (or Africanise) their words, which me and you agree we shouldn't do with bad pronunciations, unless backed up with meaingful history.
Instead of the English being lazy and calling him "Deli' (which means something entirely different in their language), they could easily be thought to pronounce it "Daylay" which at least would still give a semblance of the Yoruba meaning.
Anyway the research of Tsetse is freely available and my advice to you is before you put African words in your English lessons, you owe it to all of us as proud Africans to do research and just not repeat the "dictionary" pronunciation. Please see etymology. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsetse_fly#:~:text=13%20External%20links-,Etymology,rendered%20in%20other%20African%20languages
But again, you did well overall, this is just advice to go deeper into what you teach.
BinamRex: Before you watch this video, try to pronounce these words. I think that 90.9% of Nigerians won't be able to pronounce all these words correctly. I could be wrong though, but when I hear people around me murder English words, I conclude that the generality of Nigerian don't know that a lot of English words are not pronounced the way they are spelt.
He tried, but speaking English as an African means you should be confident in correcting the English when they get it wrong, especially when it comes to African words with African orgins and meanings.
Tsetse is a Bantu word and the way we call it in Nigeria is far closer to the correct pronunciation than the English one he called.
No whiteman will teach me how to pronounce "Dele" as I can see how they have struggled with simple Dele Alli's name for years.
ThatFairGuy1: Seems you're on Mkp.uru Mm.iri diet.
Check this list and respond
Your list is very good, it also shows Tinubu's chances of winning a plurality across the whole country. At the moment that list does not look good for him.
He has given up 80% of votes in SS and SE and will lose the middle belt. His only hope is Obi does well in the South (splitting the 80%) and that he gets 60% of votes in NE and NW.... honestly this looks to hard. All because of choice of deputy.
Also, Adeleke is as muslim as Gbajabiamilla. The fact that he goes to church, gives birth to christian children and then turns around to remind people he is muslim for political gain seals his fate. He is muslim, let us move on.
Bibors: Beautiful concept. Our Nigerian brothers because of tribalism have started "Only in Ibadan"
Oga, clearly the lady and the guy laughing in the video were Yoruba, so which one is tribalism here again? Funnily if I were in there shoes I'd do the same thing.
redseason: Look at how you just disgraced yourself now. Typical bring him down mentality! No one here likes Ekweremadu because he was DSP for 12 years, has been in government for more than 2 decades and Nigeria cannot handle organ transplant. Be it as it may, supporting a liar, thief and manipulator simply because the senator is also a thief makes no sense. Your pain follows the path that his unraveling has begun to unfold.
In your attempt to sound intelligent, you did not take time to read that what you quoted had to do with restrictions on persons NOT genetically related. In other words, transplants can either be between genetically related persons or NON-genetically related persons. You also have never heard of the term “waiting list”, so you don’t know someone can have a failed organ which no one in his living linage can be a match and he/she will be confined to a wait list. It did not occur to you that in the past 5 years, the senator would have searched within their close family/friends knit without success before extending the search. There are people who after being on wait list for so long end up getting organs from even another country or continent. The senator will only be guilty if he offered money for the kidney outside medical costs and opportunity loses to the donor.
Oga all this long story to defend someone me and you know broke their law.....finish. We all know that boy was offered money and other incentives to donate his kidney and thats all that matters....finish. Even the dullest person knows that in law, an ilegal contract cannot hold, i.e. I cannot sue you for failing to kill my wife after I paid you upfront...end of. It is against the UK law to induce someone to give a kidney...end of.
The moral of the story is simply this... charity beigins at home! If they had fixed our hospitals and paid our doctors properly in this country (which Ekweremadu, like many of our useless leaders has had the chance to) this matter would have been dealt with in Nigeria and no current judge in Nigeria would find him guilty as they are all selfish and belong to the same party. Charity begins at home!
Zandena: Now the fanatics and hypocrites in chief would see nothing wrong with the new CJN wearing a cap but they criticised and name called Tanko for wearing cap during his tenure! Christians are the most hypocritical beings on earth!
You are aware that CJN Ariwoola is likely a muslim too.
shogsman: One of the cons of buying ultra expensive phones is that there is a very fair degree of chance that it might get damage one day. And that is a pain that cuts through your skin. Spending $1k on a phone only to drop it the third day is painful to most people. Here is how I fixed that, I only buy phones I can specifically afford to damage anytime. I dropped my oppo Reno 8 on it's back today and th back got a little shattered cos I don't use cases for phones but something interesting happened I didn't feel angry or bad at all, maybe the fact that the screen wasn't affected was part of it, but I simply didn't care about the back scratching or the big dents it left. Simply because I got it for $450. Now if this was a xaoimi 11 ultra that goes for like $1500 over here I would be very very angry and sad. Then it dawned on me ,if you don't like phone cases and you drop your phones regularly, only buy phones that you can afford to DAMAGE. I've damaged my fair share of expensive phones over the years, from the note 9 in it's prime to xsmax when it first came out and the feeling was very horrible.
Another sensible way out is to insure the expensive phone, I know axa-mansard use to offer this service.
RichProminent: I'm 39 years old and am yet to settle.I run a remote and online business in addition to my work.
I have a niece (daughter of my cousin brother) who lives with one of my relatives.Last two months I travelled home and that was the first time we met.
She's 16 years and in ss2 while am a graduate. We plan to settle together when she's done with school but my family members are pushing back. How do I do?
She's my only option and I can't break up with her.
The problem is more of the age of the girl than your blood tie, seeing as she is the daughter of your cousin so blood tie is even more diluted.
The age of the girl and your desperation are the problems here.
