The father did 'Oshomaalo' (intinerant trading system) in the present day Kogi State and Akokoland.

I think the dad or grandfather adopted Islamic Religion when they sojournned in Egbiraland while the rest of their extended family members are Christians/Traditionalists but they are nevertheless 100% Ijesha.

Through out history, people travel to foreign lands and they adopt the religion, names or culture of their hosts but this doesn't change their real identities.

My brother this is not true.

I know one of his cousins and she confirmed to me that his father is not from Ilesha let alone Osun state. The family is reputable as you said and they all know this and no one uses it against him. His Osun lineage is from his mothers side, the surname he bares also buttress this.

I happen to know the lady in person and I knew when she got married which was no secret in Lagos. Ok child, let me school you for free, there is no agreement between any country that says another country should meddle in it's internal affairs, especially if its a public political uprising. It shows extreme weakness and and an inferior sovereignty. In fact it is against international law.

Imagine Nigeria splitting now, do you think Biafra would ask Odua land to come and resolve a riot in Aba, or if Endsars happened in Lagos again we would ask Arewa land to resolve this issue. If Arewa land is always resolving our internal issues, please tell me what stops Arewa land from conquering us. Only a poor student of politcs and history would not realise this has happened severally before and the trick Putin is using to rebuild the new USSR.

Putin has done this in Georgia and Ukraine unasked, and Belarus and Kazakhstan now to save their unpopular leaders, this is imperialism in all ramifications.

If you knew anything about international politics you would know pacts like NATO and this new version of the Warsaw Pact are made to defend you from external threats and aggression not internal popular uprisings and your own people.

If you want to learn, be more polite in any rebuttal.

With the kind of interest you are showing you may have to spend quality time reading this thread from page one!

It has to do with your battery's behaviour under load and off-load (rest voltage) reflecting it state of charge (SOC).

To simplify, this chart will give you an idea, however you will notice that both readings (or SOC/DOD) you got still corresponds to about 50% capacity drained off your battery.

Well both Amaron and Fullriver don't really have fakes in the market and are dependable and less costly, so I would suggest them.

Ritar is also a good brand and very available, but the fakes are all over the market.

Stay away from anything sold by Simba for now (Luminous, Genus etc.)

Also if you see any good deals, just post on the forum beforehand and people will be happy to give you there experiences with the battery brands (which to be honest is priceless advice).

Bro I once made the same mistake you made, using my AC wattmeter to give me the idle consumption of my inverter, which came out negligible before it now dawned on me that there was no way an ac meter plugged into the inverter would be able to measure the dc amps that the same inverter was pulling from my battery.

I ended up getting a DC meter & shunt and voila I found out my old school inverter was pulling 20-28 wats on my battery for simply being on!! Thats 2amps down the drain and like Dam5reey pointed out its probably gets higher depending on how high the load it is benchpressing becomes.

Nowadays, my dc meter is used to determine all load, I hardly use the ac for anything.

Its clear that you were just honestly asking and he (for some reason) just couldn't seem to decipher that you were being honest in understanding your mistake.

Let it be and take the claim off.

@Dam5reey, pls look at the tone of people when you reply, he was being sincere and this could have been cleared up in just one post really, if you had noticed the sincerity. Be calming down.

One more thing, how come was the inverter dull enough to allow me use pass 50% DOD Of the batteries. I taught inverter should just cut off power or give warning when it gets to 50 %, isn’t it?

Secondly if 12.0V is the standard voltage for any battery which has gotten to 50% DOD , then the honest truth is that the two 100ah batteries connected in parallel can’t take me past 2 hours with one Tv two 5 watts bulb and one 12watts bulb then. Cos obviously I discharge them till I get 11.5v and that’s a couple of 5 hours in those loads. That’s too poor for a 200ah battery

Like someone said above, the battery brand you bought is very suspect and more likely where your problem is coming from.

Do the load tests people have advised you to do with the bulbs and other heavy loads. Also with your setup, you shouldn't really be discharging more than 8-10 amps (96- 120 watts) an hour when not charging as that is the poverty attached to lead acid batteries (c20 rule for 200AH, thats if the battery is even rated up to C20!).

Anyone buying batteries should always have at least an independent multimeter (1k5) to be able to check voltage for yourself especially when brand new. So if you follow the above and pull 50 amps in 5hours and your setup reads less than 12v, then your battery capacity has been misrepresented. Though it would probably be best for you to separate the batteries and test individually; thus pulling 25AH in 5 hours from each battery.

To be honest, I think you should return the battery if you can still get your money back. Go for tried and trusted brands people have used on this forum.

The summary of what everyone is saying is that your installer has shown poor knowledge which has resulted to a poor job. However it could be easily fixed by someone who knows what they are doing.

My advice is you try and reachout to the guy here who offered to help you earlier.
