Nothing is "on" the sky, everything is within, including the the Sun the moon, the stars (some will even say Heaven). Anyway, "in the sky" is correct in English because thats the way it has always been and not because of any scientific argument.

So to conclude, the preferred preposition when refering to the planet Earth, or any other planet for that matter is "on"..... and I did not create the English language, that is just the rule, just like Igbo and Hausa have their own rules, end of.

We all get that scientifically we all appear to be inside this planet from space...but that is not the argument....and if he was to go to where real English speakers are and repeat this inside Earth jargon they would not look at him as some scientific genius but someone who can't speak English properly.

Poor argument and the person you quoted was 100% on point.

English is not a natural science where you use scientific logic to win arguments....it is a language and culture just like Yoruba, Igbo and Hausa are.

What wins an argument about language most of the time is usually precedent and culture, and 90% of English arguments are settled that way.

The understanding of the term "earth" as soil came hundreds of years before scientist could prove to us that other planets existed. So the English were already saying "living on the Earth" way before they knew planets existed.

So this argument is first of all won by precedent and culture way before you start thinking logically...and even then the fact and logic that 99.99% of human beings actually live on land makes it illogical to say "I live inside Earth" unless you are having a chat with an Alien or a fish.

Also, to show you that precedent trumps it all... the English tend to say "life on Mars" instead of "life inside Mars".

Finally, can I ask, does your native language even recognise other planets? Or how would you translate I live inside Mars in your native language?

Good morning, your first question was what I expected. Any dismissive response (without using the inverter firsthand) would be biase and sentimental because technology evolves and nothing is impossible.
I didn't use a coulometer, I used a digital meter that can measure current. Idle current was hovering around 0.2A and 0.3A. I chose 0.3A which makes idle power 7.2w (for a 24v system).
I've been using inverters for a while, if this inverter had not performed up to expectation, I would have come here to dissuade everyone from buying it (without sentiment). I'm not loyal to any brand.

Sine wave is very clean and stable, no humming noise whatsoever.

What makes it stand out is inbuilt AVR, believe me it's very efficient as it outputs 220v steadily. My fans blows better than when they were connected to grid directly. So I no longer use stabilizer.
Max output Amp while charging is 35A, and it has the usual 3 charging phases. Charging amp can be adjusted based on percentage i.e 20%,40%,60%,80%,100%.
Charging voltage can also be adjusted based on preset parameters.

The only thing I do not like about the inverter is that, you can't see battery voltage, it shows only percentage. I have to rely on charge controller to see that.

I installed this inverter today.
This SMR inveter exceeded my expectations in all ramifications.
- Idle power of 3.5kv of SMR inverter is around 7w, (the 5.5kv is 12w).
- It doesn't make noise at all, the fans are very smart.
- The UPS functionality, is very efficient. You can never notice when PHCN takes light, it switches within 4ms. This is a very cool feature I so much wanted. Changing over from PHCN to inverter can be very tiring.
- Inverter works without battery, AC mode supplies mains efficiently with AVR.
- Bypass works when switched off.
According to specs, it has x3 surge power for 20 seconds (yet to confirm this).
I wonder why many people don't really know about this inverter.
Will I recommend this inveter? Definitely yes!
