Awol1: The choice of the majority that stood in front of a concrete mace outside the legislative building to inaugurate themselves without the clerk of the house?
Did the 11 form a qourum?
Did the Constitution say whether majority or minority should produce the speaker?
Did the Constitution state what time the house shall be inuagrated?
So if u were Bala Muhammed, you will let a time bomb be planted around you so that you could be impeached at the flimsiest of reasons?
This is power play.
Not a church program.
This post is an example of the typical blackman mentality, always thinking you are sharper than everyone yet all your domains wallow in filth.
Oyinbo who thought you "democracy" "constitution" and "quorom" do not have these sordid tales play out in their national parliaments. Oyinbo who hate God still recognise natural justice and that 20 is greater than 11.
But who am I to stop you from defending injustice, backwardness and barbarism, I mean it is inherent in your nature and it clearly favours you. Keep enjoying your power play.
Generalpatton: I hope this injunction means a status quo and also means that the illegal speaker and deputy of the pdp faction is barred.there is no speaker in bauchi
If you read the full article you will see clearly the court has barred the choice of the majority, the APC candidate alone.
Any woman that manages to occupy her man's mind most of the time will be more successful in stopping him from cheating. Why drink garri when you know you have a hot plate of pounded yam and egusi waiting for you!
Cassie74: This is where I saw the LCD or am I missing something here
LED tvs is a subset of LCD tvs, meaning all LEDs are LCDs. So the fact that the badge has LCD does not mean its not LED. I think It is LED anyway because of the low power the OP describes that it uses.
Also a link from Panasonic support describing the panel as IPS LED.
Sellfish: If a factory reset could not solve the problem, then the TV has fault
Nobody buys a TV and expects to tamper with any settings aside a wifi password
You were not buying a brand new tv, you were buying USED TOKUNBO tv.
Its like buying a Tokunbo car and saying you are not willing to change the breakpads, oil or tyres because you bought it and expect everything to work.
Why I keep repeating this is that most of people on that link said their Samsung TVs "stopped" connecting not that it "never" connected. And simple factory resets did not solve their problems.
I hope you will not abandon this your new tv if you have any small hiccups as you seem capable of more if you put your mind to it.
Sellfish: All manual settings were adjusted on the tv....but it didn't work
Even a factory reset was done....still no connection
Bro, you couldn't have adjusted all the settings in that short time. Read the link I provided, you will see other owners had a similar problem and after a while found different ways of making it work (usually involving adjusting the DNS which i think is probably the issue).
My point is the tv is ok and it is not a hardware fault.
Sellfish: After patrolling the used TV Market for hours and basically only seeing scraps that are not even worth checking out for me, I come across this Samsung 46-inch TV...
It isn't 4k but it's crystal clear with manageable speakers...in fact the display was much clearer than that Hitachi 4k TV I talked about earlie, and another 2017 LG 4k TV i saw earlier as well..it also basically ticked all my checklist except the power consumption part....it operating power consumption was 97 watts...and it does not play HEVC videos or support srt subtitles...screen mirroring function is perfect tho ....so I guessed I couldn't get all I need...since the screen mirroring was perfect, nothing stopped me from mirroring my hevc movies and srt subtitles from my phone to the TV using my phones VLC player...I tested that and it worked perfectly
I was already beginning to realise I was going to have to sacrifice some functionalities for some others...Scaling of Preference had set in ...
So I negotiated with the seller and we agreed on 136k including the TV wall bracket and installation ....
I am sha already trying to transfer the funds to the seller when I tell him to set up the TV to connect to my phone's hotspot....The TV will detect my phone's hotspot and even ask for the password to be put...but it refused to connect
We tried to connect the TV to my glo mifi...Same issue
In fact we spent another hour trying to connect to different phone and other hotspots...no success....TV will see the hotspot but cannot connect even after putting in correct passwords or even removing the password totally and making the hotspot an open one
The seller said he honestly had no idea the TV had such a problem...and I believed him because the screen mirroring which also uses wifi was working perfectly, and the TV could also detect hotspots but can't connect....
Much as I felt bad for the seller, there was no way I was going to sacrifice wifi connectivity...impossicant
So I stopped the funds transfer to him and left his shop...
The seller was a nice guy tho..he even paid for the rice I ordered to eat in his shop .too bad that Samsung had to mess him up like that
See below the specs sticker of this tv
If the tv is able to mirror flawlessly and see hotpots, it will be able to connect. It will probably be an issue with network settings on the tv that need to be manually adjusted.
It was not a matter if this time will arrive but when. I predicted that with inflation in double digits and government borrowing high, it was just a matter of time before the naira weakens in value.
There was already a strong indicator of this not too long ago when the CBN barred importers of textiles from sourcing from the CBN window. It seemed the move was made to reduce mounting pressure on the Naira.
With the reduction of $4bn in the foreign reserves in the past 2 months, urgent steps needs to be taken.
The CBN must allow market forces to dictate and allow the naira slide. If prevented by introducing forex controls again as it did in 2015, a repeat of the 2016-2017 recession will be with the country again
Government needs to take these urgent steps to take the country completely out of the woods and an overdependency on oil exports.
1. Merge the multiple exchange rates 2. Lift the ban on importers of 42 items from accessing forex through the CBN window 3. Slash company taxes to 12%. Allow each state to add up to 5% on this tax which will be shared equally between the federal and state governments.
This is to investment competition between states.
4. Allow each state to determine it's own personal income tax and nothing greater than 25%.
This again is to encourage investment competition between states
5. Liberalise trade. End all import bans and reduce import duties to 0% minimum and 10% maximum
6. End the Naira substitution policy.
7. Improve the country's ranking to 40 or better
And so on and so forth
Mumu.
It is fake news.
Next time just ask google before exhibiting so much glee at bad news about your only country.
Bros it is not an upgrade, you are justing changing over to another OS.
Most experienced Android users actually prefer stock android because they can tweak it the way they deem fit safely.
I suggest you go to Xiaomi thread on here and ask someone their to flash MIUI for you because I have a feeling if you do it yourself you will brick the phone.
Also, if you are indeed using Mi A2 and not the lite version you still will not have an inbuilt data-free FM radio app if you flash to MIUI. Your phone, like most stock android phones is really made for Europeans and they are not bothered about FM radio as they prefer streaming radio apps.
Mackenzie12: I was using it before now on the the first space and I have not flashed the phone before. Maybe I should try a factory reset but I have always been scared sha.
Mackenzie12: I was using it before now on the the first space and I have not flashed the phone before. Maybe I should try a factory reset but I have always been scared sha.
A reset will certainly solve the problem, though a bit of an overkill. It is possible you downloaded an app that messed with your settings and you just need to change it back manually
What of the other sim, are you able to use USSD on it in first space?
Mackenzie12: Hello house, please, I need help here. I am using a Xiaomi note 5 model which I got last year August. Presenty, I can't check my airtime balance, subscribe to certain services using the USSD codes. Whenever I dial for e.g *556# to check my account balance, I get an error message which makes me unable to access my account balance and subscribe to services which need the use of USSD codes. But my consolation has always come from the second space in the phone. The second space which serves as a private space in the phone doesn't face this issue. But it's stressful having to switch from the main space to the second space before I can recharge my phone, make subscriptions and all of that. Please, anyone with similar issue?? Help out please. Thanks The screen shot of the error message is below
You need to give us more info.
Were you ever able to use USSD successfully on the main space in the past?
Did you flash any custom rom or update your OS recently?
I suspect its probably a setting not allowing your IMEi to be sent or so, but we need more info.
Rajman45: We have seasonal and non seasonal food items, but it does not mean the statistics was wrong. Statistics are done on a routine basis which factors all seasons together. Those arguing about it are wasting their valuable time.
I tire oooo, If NBS had brought this kind of report, they would not remember seasons or cursing stats, children of irrational hate
The bureau said price of a dozen of medium-sized egg increased year-on-year by 2.1 per cent and month-on-month by 2.2 per cent in the period under review.
It said the average price of a piece of medium-sized Agric egg decreased year-on-year by -0.8 per cent and increased month-on-month by 1.4 per cent to N41.73 in October from N41.17 in September.
According to the report, the average price of one kilo gramme of tomato increased year-on-year by 5.2 per cent and decreased month-on-month by -6.6 per cent to N306.59 in October from N328.26 in September.
It also said average price of one kilo gramme of imported high quality rice increased year-on-year by 1.1 per cent and month-on-month by 0.5 per cent to N373.04 in October from N371.32 in September.
“Similarly, the average price of one kilo gram of yam tuber increased year-on-year by 12.8 per cent and decreased month-on-month by -10.0 per cent to N252.21 in October from N280.28 in September,’’ it said.
sapele914: Make you go farm Lazy man, since you know all the planting and harvesting seasons,or you want someone to do the work and come and give you cheap food stuff?and it is not up south but down south.
Don't mind the guy, he is just a know-it-all confirmed fool, arguing for the sake of arguing.
Again I ask did the NBS say the price drops were not seasonal? Did they comment that the abundance of fertilizer has increased harvest? Did they comment on North and South dichotomy or that women are better farmers than men?
Why is it difficult for this olodo know-it-all to understand that their only job in this particular periodic report was to measure and compare prices? He reminds me of people who think it's smart to go churches/mosques to win contracts rather than seek the salvation of their souls. Or do you regularly ask your mechanic how to fix your freezer? Total confusionist, next thing he'll demand Staticians do a report on how we can defeat Boko.
