LED tvs is a subset of LCD tvs, meaning all LEDs are LCDs. So the fact that the badge has LCD does not mean its not LED. I think It is LED anyway because of the low power the OP describes that it uses.

You were not buying a brand new tv, you were buying USED TOKUNBO tv.

Its like buying a Tokunbo car and saying you are not willing to change the breakpads, oil or tyres because you bought it and expect everything to work.

Why I keep repeating this is that most of people on that link said their Samsung TVs "stopped" connecting not that it "never" connected. And simple factory resets did not solve their problems.

I hope you will not abandon this your new tv if you have any small hiccups as you seem capable of more if you put your mind to it.

Bro, you couldn't have adjusted all the settings in that short time. Read the link I provided, you will see other owners had a similar problem and after a while found different ways of making it work (usually involving adjusting the DNS which i think is probably the issue).

My point is the tv is ok and it is not a hardware fault.

After patrolling the used TV Market for hours and basically only seeing scraps that are not even worth checking out for me, I come across this Samsung 46-inch TV...

It isn't 4k but it's crystal clear with manageable speakers...in fact the display was much clearer than that Hitachi 4k TV I talked about earlie, and another 2017 LG 4k TV i saw earlier as well..it also basically ticked all my checklist except the power consumption part....it operating power consumption was 97 watts...and it does not play HEVC videos or support srt subtitles...screen mirroring function is perfect tho ....so I guessed I couldn't get all I need...since the screen mirroring was perfect, nothing stopped me from mirroring my hevc movies and srt subtitles from my phone to the TV using my phones VLC player...I tested that and it worked perfectly

So I stopped the funds transfer to him and left his shop...

With the reduction of $4bn in the foreign reserves in the past 2 months, urgent steps needs to be taken.

The CBN must allow market forces to dictate and allow the naira slide. If prevented by introducing forex controls again as it did in 2015, a repeat of the 2016-2017 recession will be with the country again

Government needs to take these urgent steps to take the country completely out of the woods and an overdependency on oil exports.

1. Merge the multiple exchange rates
2. Lift the ban on importers of 42 items from accessing forex through the CBN window
3. Slash company taxes to 12%. Allow each state to add up to 5% on this tax which will be shared equally between the federal and state governments.

This is to investment competition between states.

4. Allow each state to determine it's own personal income tax and nothing greater than 25%.

This again is to encourage investment competition between states

5. Liberalise trade. End all import bans and reduce import duties to 0% minimum and 10% maximum

6. End the Naira substitution policy.

7. Improve the country's ranking to 40 or better

And so on and so forth

Bros it is not an upgrade, you are justing changing over to another OS.

Most experienced Android users actually prefer stock android because they can tweak it the way they deem fit safely.

I suggest you go to Xiaomi thread on here and ask someone their to flash MIUI for you because I have a feeling if you do it yourself you will brick the phone.

Also, if you are indeed using Mi A2 and not the lite version you still will not have an inbuilt data-free FM radio app if you flash to MIUI. Your phone, like most stock android phones is really made for Europeans and they are not bothered about FM radio as they prefer streaming radio apps.

A reset will certainly solve the problem, though a bit of an overkill. It is possible you downloaded an app that messed with your settings and you just need to change it back manually

What of the other sim, are you able to use USSD on it in first space?

Hello house, please, I need help here. I am using a Xiaomi note 5 model which I got last year August. Presenty, I can't check my airtime balance, subscribe to certain services using the USSD codes. Whenever I dial for e.g *556# to check my account balance, I get an error message which makes me unable to access my account balance and subscribe to services which need the use of USSD codes.
But my consolation has always come from the second space in the phone. The second space which serves as a private space in the phone doesn't face this issue. But it's stressful having to switch from the main space to the second space before I can recharge my phone, make subscriptions and all of that.
Please, anyone with similar issue?? Help out please. Thanks

Were you ever able to use USSD successfully on the main space in the past?

Did you flash any custom rom or update your OS recently?

I suspect its probably a setting not allowing your IMEi to be sent or so, but we need more info.

“Similarly, the average price of one kilo gram of yam tuber increased year-on-year by 12.8 per cent and decreased month-on-month by -10.0 per cent to N252.21 in October from N280.28 in September,’’ it said.
