European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester City Vs Arsenal - (6 - 3) On 14th December 2013 by andyanders: 3:19pm On Dec 14, 2013
I stated here last week that from today, that Arsenal MUST know where they belong because they have been on this position by proxy.
By the time they start facing tougher teams, they will now know where they belong.
Let them pray, Man City don't spell them.

Politics › Bode George, El Rufai Cases Dropped By The Courts by andyanders(op):
Is this a trend in Nigeria to buy the judicial system by the politicians in order to open more doors for stealing this nation dry?
Bode George was convicted and served his term and has a name tag as an ' Ex Convict'

How come now that the same court that jailed him wants to remove his name from the ex- convict list? I see people like Alamasia Of Bayelsa's case as an ex convict been removed and given a clean bill. Also Tafa Balogun should also go and pay the judicial system here in Nigeria and have his conviction over turned by the courts.

All you need in Nigeria now is for you to get into an exalted position whereby you have access to the vault and steal as much as you want and buy the judiciary to get a clean bill.

Where are will going and where is the hope for the younger generation?

dipotech: Dear Great Nairalanders,

I write to bring this into the notice of these great minds and intellects.

Precisely 16 August 2012 last year a letter of sack were issued to thousands of NIMC staff under the pretense of being redundant and since then government has not deemed it fit to pay their severe allowance.

I have an ant who has less than 2 years to her retirement and a wife who has worked for about 12 years in the establishment, no one among the sacked staff has ever received any money from the establishment since last year till date.

I want the good people of this forum to help us echo it so that people involved could receive their allowances on time since they have been laid off without any tangible reason.

God bless.
Let them go and collect their entitlement from the billions of money stolen by the agency. Who among us here that do not know that that office ate billions of money allocated for the national ID card scheme.

lorretta u: Ok ok. Mmhmm *clears throat* chai how do I begin?
We met back in my first year in IMSU where he used to work. And we became fast friends. ( You can't help loving this man here) though I never saw this coming. Even after he traveled and we only kept in touch as friends. I used to think that's all we'd be.even though I loved him so and longed for more.I thought the distance couldn't let it be. I didn't know he had this all planned right from the beginning.

Fast forward a few years later. He made his intentions known. And the rest is history.
The pictures and kneeling down and all else are just formalities. We already knew from the beginning where we wanted to spend the rest of our lives
in each other's arms
This is a blessing and we love that and wish you both a successful marriage. Make sure that you invite us and we fly down to wherever you will be holding your wedding as I know that many nairalanders will show up to be with you.Congratulations.

Obasanjo has no locus standi to refer any criminal as criminal because himself is a criminal. Let OBJ come out here and tell Nigerians what happened to the $16 Billion dollars his government earmarked for NEPA and also let him tell the whole world what happened to National ID scheme that his government released money and his cronies stole the money only for them to release the dead body of the man involve in the fraud and closed the case till date.
OBJ installed Late President Yaradua and Jonathan, threw away genuine and competent Nigerians who are descent to be the president of this country and he was out there scheming to be made a Life Time Chairman of PDP.

Now that he has been thrown out by his so called party he wants to act like an elder statesman.

Damysa: Thanks for all your responses so far

unfortunately there is no body I can tell except God
he is from a polygamous home and his mum has left is his father after 9 children and now live with a much younger lover. He just got to tell me in one of our quarrels that his mom never supported his marriage to me.

His folks are in the village and have never spent a night at his house but he keep saying "not wonder my family hates u" "no wonder they say u are not respectful" and I keep wondering who are these people cos I only met few of his folks when he took me for introduction. I was very friendly with everyone and even eat together with his mom. When we got back to Lagos I ask wot his people's opinion was he said everything was fine and we went on and got married. Now he keeps saying my people said u are a bad woman, u are this and that, no wonder they said he shouldnt marry me and funny enough I dont know these people, and he did not even tell me till almost 2 yrs. perhaps this explains why his mom was not forth coming during our marriage preparations, when I ask him he said since his father was going to be involved she will be silent cos she doesnt want to have any issues with the father. He assured me every thing was OK.

I also notice that he fears his mom alot and he will never talk on phone with his mom/siblings in my presence and I wonder why?
From a polygamous family? Too bad. He will still marry more because what is following him is a generational curse that affected his father hence his action. Your days are numbered because will will add more to it. This is 2013 and you posted this 2010, let us know if you are still there

Only a mad man marries a mad woman. If your friend is not mad too like the man, then advise her to have a rethink and com out of the marriage because domestic violence leads to murder.
Family › Re: Can A Fiancee Beater Change In A Marriage? by andyanders: 2:06pm On Dec 12, 2013
Sweetlemon: I don't know why people equate financial generosity with being caring.

Please abeg. They are two different things entirely. Can you call a rich man who lavishes money on a lady but has done juju to take her womb, destiny, etc away from her "caring"huh

Please money is just one of the ways of showing that you care. A man who cares about a woman does not even want to see her hurt, not to talk of being the cause of her pain!

Ladies get that into your skulls!
Sweetlemon, well spoken. Money can only buy debt and not love because the person will be imprisoned to the wealth to her own detriment. How can a man be caring by giving money and at this same time kicking and beating same person and too, planning a wedding? At the end, he will sacrifice the same lady for selfish reasons. I still put it that love is not blind in this computer age. Shine your eyes ladies.
Family › Re: Can A Fiancee Beater Change In A Marriage? by andyanders: 1:57pm On Dec 12, 2013
sapien: I decided to post this topic here because I know I'll get mature responses.
I have a high school 'girlfriend' who is engaged and about getting married to her fiance of a year and half in a couple of months, precisely April, next year. She is 25 years old. The problem, however, is that the guy hits and slaps her at the slightest provocation and she is really getting worked up and pondering on calling off the wedding. Though, she says the guy is generous and highly caring but his bad temper is the only turn-off in him. She really loves him. She also doesn't have the guts to tell her parents about the constant slapping and hitting from the guy as it is apparent that they will support calling off the marriage. Her aunt, however, is encouraging her to go into the marriage since the guy is caring and generous. The aunt says the guy might change after the wedding, especially if the lady(my friend) can get pregnant as early as possible. Moreso, they have spent a whole lot of money on the wedding preparation and other miscellaneous. Please, Family section married folks, what advise should I give her? Does she call off the wedding or go ahead and marry the guy with the hope that he'll change? Would a fiancee beater not turn to a wife beater at the end of the day?
History has it that no woman beater changes with time rather, end up killing his partner and ending up in jail. Love is not when you shower someone with wealth of substance but when one takes his partner as himself.
The act of having to have such an anger issue can only be removed through deliverance if the man is a Christian willing to undergo such because anger is a demonic issue. If he is not a Christian, let him seek marriage counselor if that can work for them. Going into that marriage with the above issues you have raised, we expect that you will be coming back here for your friend's obituary if you let her get into the marriage.

You are here hiding and calling Aki mighty dwarf. Note that his parents are normal human beings over 5'8'' but Aki came this way.

You too, when you start having children, one of them will turn to be like Aki but with no use to you and the society as he will become a liability to you. Or worse, you get an im=becile as a child or even you can get involved in an accident and be deformed.

deletrue: Never! Not from that primitive old for nothing man. But do you know that Obasanjo was highly favoured by God to become the likes of Mandela? All those things to make this unreasonable man a great Nigerian were made available to him but for where? He only talks before thinking. What a pity for these golden opportunities that were thrown into high sea. He was a five star army general, a president for two terms, a very senior man. You can imagine the level he was expected to attain. A loss per cent to all Nigerians
My brother, Obasanjo is a complete foool. He is not ashamed of himself coming on air to even say that he was advising Mandela to contest for another election and the man declined and told him to his face' if he Obasanjo can show him any man at 80 yrs still ruling his country. Only a fool like him can sell that idea to a polished man like Mandela.

ceo4eva: [b] Just within a space of 3 days, OBJ, Tambuwal and Sanusi have all indicted the President of Massive Looting and Unabated Corruption.
Moreover, these 3 men are in the same political party (PDP) with Jonathan and not Opposition parties.
Though OBJ is not a Saint, but During his Administration, many were booted out due to his Anti-Corruption Campaign starting with people from his South West Region; S.M Afolabi (National I.D Card Scam), Tafa Balogun (former IG of Police), Bode George (NPA Scam), Sunday Einhdero, Chief Babalola and Femi Fani Kayode (former Ministers of Aviation). We hardly hear of Sentiments, Tribalism and Favouritism then. It's now a different story under GEJ. What exactly is the recurring Problem? GEJ only claims to fight corruption with his lips and on the media. If OBJ was still in power, he would have delivered a keynote address during Mandiba's memorial yesterday because you dare not mess up with him. Anyway, GEJ "doesn't give a damn"
I still strongly believe that this
Jonathan's Administration
Cultivates, Breeds, Grows, Nurtures, Fertilizes, Harvests, Packages, and Distributes CORRUPTION.

You are right my brother because they know they are corrupt and there is nothing that can be done unless we Nigerians confront our leaders.
Politics › Re: Nigeria Airbrushed Out Of Mandela’s Life Story by andyanders: 11:29am On Dec 12, 2013
Why wouldn't South Africa or the world isolate the government of Nigeria lead by Jonathan when Obasanjo who came on air to have ONLY gone to South Africa to meet Mandela to continue in office and was told to his face by Mandela that he cannot and Mandela asked our useless leader if he has seen where an 80 yr old man still governing his country.

This act alone has confined Obasanjo to the dustbin of history.
Our leaders steal with impunity and display the ill-gotten wealth to the detriment of the governed.

Shame to our leaders. They should stop saying they were humiliated by South Africans, rather was disgraced as a result of their corrupt nature.
You can imagine a country where $49 billion dollars missing and the president's attention was called for and nothing was done. A country an aviation minister appropriated money to herself to buy bulletproof cars and the president is not talking. Too bad
Politics › Re: Abia Distributes 202 Cars To Youths by andyanders: 11:08am On Dec 12, 2013
It is time this nation start applying Chinese laws whereby any corrupt leader found guilty be executed. This is madness and stupidity at the highest level of governance.

This was a man brought out from prison and to become a governor. ONLY in Nigeria that a convict becomes a leader. ONLY in Nigeria convicts are celebrated. ONLY in Nigeria leaders steal with impunity. ONLY in Nigeria that leaders become cannibals and murderers. ONLY in Nigeria that political office holders become kidnappers. I weep for this country and I pity Abia people for they have been sold to the devil known as Theodore Orji as a governor.
Politics › Re: Abia Distributes 202 Cars To Youths by andyanders:
MR BENZENE: Nwabuko also explained that the vehicles
which were branded and registered by the
government were always given free of charge.
According to him, the gesture was not only to
make Abia youths gainfully employed but to be
useful to themselves and the society.
In his remarks, the Special Adviser to the
Governor on Youth Affairs and Development,
Prince Maduka Uwadi asked the beneficiaries
not to use the vehicles for commercial
purposes, resell or deface them, warning that
any person caught going against the guidelines
would have his vehicle withdrawn.

http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/12/abia-distributes-202-cars-youths-2/
Can the above be explained? A government giving out free cars to 200 youths not to be used for commercial purpose but for what? Giving out such number of cars to them for what? Owning a car by a youth without a job translates to what purpose? Will they use them for kidnapping or political purposes since they have been warned not to use them for any commercial purposes.
I think Theodore Orji and his advisers are sick and need to explain further why giving out these cars to the youths if not for political purposes come 2015.
