Women own homes and plays important roles in the home. If no fruit of the womb comes at the right time, it should not be reasons to see them as nobody. I still stand to condemn people who travel by Night buses no matter the kind appointment you have. Since the security system is bad, one has to adopt to his own safety. One has to be security conscious. How can any sane person still claim that night travel are safe because you have appointment early in the morning? That is too bad. There has been cases whereby these armed robbers will stop luxurious buses and ask the passengers to lie down on the highway and an oncoming vehicles will run over them. They hear these deaths and still embark on night travels. Can one vouch for the character of these drivers who drive these buses?
Yes,armed robbers can strike at anytime as you stated but at the same time, you cannot compare daylight attack and that of the night.

I have said it that if you travel with night bus, whatever you got, is your own gift. We should be watchful for our lives and must we expose ourselves to danger? It is only the living that will have story to tell. When you make yourself to be nocturnal, whatever you get, then you have yourself to blame. Our system is bad and we all should make sure that we help ourselves by providing security for our lives. When you see danger and you face danger, whatever you get, you get it. Even during the day light, if you don't have reasons hanging out within some certain areas, stay off.

You mentioned robbers attacking banks during the day and having people killed. Listen, in most cases, we expose ourselves to danger. Most people when they don't even have business to transact in the banks, will go and keep visiting or accompanying someone to the bank when they don't have business doing with the bank and will sit down doing nothing. 3 TO 4 PEOPLE WILL ACCOMPANY ONE PERSON TO A BANK. That is useless because if anything happens and they get killed, is that not their foolishness? If you do not have anything doing with any bank, stay off from that area. There are most offices that do not allow more than one person to come in and sit down doing nothing. They are trying to be security conscious.
I still stand to say that people should stop taking night buses no matter the urgency of what they intend doing.

Why must any sane person travel in the night if that person is not a criminal? So, they are all food for armed robbers. Let them continue.

I still believe that most of these night bus drivers plan for these robberies. How can they be seeing death and still put their heads if they are not part of the plan?

So any person who embark on any form of night travel in Nigeria after seeing what has been happening, is a criminal too. So DO NOT PITY ANY OF THEM. Kill yourself if you must and that is what they got.

In fact, as Africans,it is our responsibility to take care of our aged ones at old age. In African culture, we lived with our parents at least 20 yrs and above. In some homes, you see grown ups staying with their parents till even 40yrs. In civilized societies like America, once on is18yrs, you are already an adult and should be able to get an apartment to yourself.

In our culture, we depend on our parents for everything and take it as their responsibility even when we are adults and as such, must be ready to cater for them when they are old. The idea of having them move in with their daughter's in-laws is not the best as this might collapse the marriage as most of our mothers don't know their boundaries.They still see their daughter's as infants even when they are old.

No marriage/relationship is perfect as their are no two perfect people on the face of the earth. Therefore a line must be drawn the way we handle marriages here. Most mother inlaws are marriage breakers. Taking care of them does not include bring them to stay or live with you for the rest of their lives. Rather, provide for their up-keep at all times whenever they need you. Pay them visit from time to time. You can get a house help to stay with them. She can visit you from time to time to have change of environment. Do not deny them access to you but let their stay not exceed more than expected. There are some mother inlaws who are loving and knows when to and when not to.

Like in America,they care less about their children as it is the responsibility of their government for their citizenry. For we Nigerians,our government has no hands in our upbringing rather to see you die before adulthood. It is the sole responsibility of our parents hence we should be their keeper at old age..

Listen,you are alive to say your story. Why not think the other side since the ones you have met has been nice to you. During your first year, its always sweet and after the first child, many men tend to look down on their wife and start having affairs outside and no more ice crem,e cards, sweet talks, conversations and its likes. Lots of things involved in marriage. But to sell through in marriage, be patient, tolerant, ready to have conversation with your partner but never stay in a violent marriage.

I have said it b4 that NYSC should be scrapped. It has no value now. It was at the initial birth of the scheme that the corpers enjoyed the purpose. Now, you either get killed or after service, you now roam the street for another 5-10yrs looking for job.

The youths should ask the government if they EVER contributed to their education. OR is it because they the government officials in different states of the federation find these young ladies as easy lay that ask them to serve? Why cant the government give out jobs to all corpers in government parastatals and ministries and retire all these old men and women that falsify their ages and stay up to 90yrs claiming to be 55 yrs by manipulating and changing their ages?
