Nostalgia and Fear

I remember Back in the days @ School, the best feeling we had was when we were able to escape  through the fence and head  to the Girls  Hostel. OMG!! Omega abeg no take laugh kill me here. Ok, I met this Girl on fb haven't talked about relationship yet but we've been behaving like we're dating. Had 2 dates already, I've bought "in Nigeria's Currency" more than 5000 Naira worth of credit and to be fair she's called me like more than that amount, Had sex with her already also.

But here's where the headache is, We had sex after she told me that she needed some money "in Nigeria's Currency" about 30k for her Mum's Medical fees Now here's a girl that has been bragging about her background and stuff, it was so surprising when she asked BUT i used the opportunity for myself because i felt she was just trying to Rip me. I accepted that i'd be giving the cash to her the next day and requested she come around and she did, It was like the thought of getting the Cash got the best of her, she gave in to my advances and the rest is now History, So the next day she called, i told her i'd be calling and i didn't call back till yesterday when she called and was so cool and Matured about the disappointment , She requested that we meet tomorrow again, Ol'boy Fear wan kill me die, Anyway i never gave her assurance that we'd be meeting as the investigative part of me is sensing sumtin fishy, Guys what do u think

Ok I decided to swallow my pride and call my Ex., At first she was sounding harsh then the tone came low and we talked. I sounded mean to her the last time we talked because she told me she found a new guy so today she asked why i sounded that way and i told her because i was surprise she could move on under the space of 2 weeks after what we had- That means she already had a backup- But she brushed it out with that " I was only Joking" Kind  of excuse.  Ok we talked for some Mins and i asked her to come to yahoo messenger so we chat a bit and she told me she already blocked my ID,  So i calmly said Ok,  Gud day and cut the phone.  Some mins Later she called and i pretended like i didn't hear what she said and cut off the line then she called again sounding very angry and i had to use " the network was bad" excuse for her and she told me she  wanted me to take care of myself and that "Even though we're no longer dating  that she still cares so Much about me".

Ok over the couple of months we broke up, I've met several Girls and have even been fortunate to get it from Most of them but every part of me still want her Back,  Judging from her statement and reaction  in her last call,  it's there any sign that things might work out

The last i did before Karma stroke back was using her toaster against her, There's this guy calling and toasting her when we were together, she used to tell me about him but i pretended like the guy wasn't important until i met my EX lol, I first told her to stop every communication with the guy and she accepted, then One day i didn't call her for the whole day and she was pissed with my explaination. It didn't get up to 30 mins, she called back and was totally cool and apologized and that got me surprised, so the next day i asked what calmed her down, Then she said, she spoke to the guy and the guy calmed her and told her to call me, I just snapped on the opportunity and told her that i've got plenty things on my mind and don't want to start fighting with a Boy over her, gave her my Blessings and that was it.

@ erniewhez, Ghana in one word is Peaceful if only you can respect yourself. It's  still growing, everywhere  and everything is changing rapidly, So if you are looking for a place to open up an investment and go about it with the needed peace of mind, Then Ghana is one of the best choices.


Is it true that their power is stable, how stable please?


The Power situations of late is not as good as 2 yrs ago But it's still favourable for business, You won't need Generator here that much but it's advisable to get one incase. There have been Power failures but it doesn't take that much of a time for it to come back so Yes you can have your business here with less worry about Power.

What kind of business do you see thriving in Ghana?

For me, I'd go for Entertainment and Recreation, The locals can kill for that and there re reasonable amount of foreigners who come here mainly for Tourism, this kind of business is a Killer if you get it right and with a reasonable Capital.

How is accomodation there, both domestic and business? And the terms of payments.??

I've not paid for a House in Naija before so i don't know the difference But i think it depends on the type of house and environment you want,   Mine is pretty reasonable.

How are the govt taxes, related with foreigners, I heard they tax foreigners highly??

Sincerely i don't know much on this BUT i heard they are pretty strict,  Maybe others here might know.

Which area in Ghana to you think is good for business establishment.?

Accra is the best for any establishment.


One thing i can assure you is that you will enjoy your stay if you get to know how things work.

ec3l,  I'm in Accra i don't know much about Capecoast,  But if you're looking for admission, come around july/august,  That's the best time.
