Jumax28: Hi @Jumax28. I've not had this experience. However, I think you could make calls to VFS and also track your parcel. I'll let the gurus advise you on this. |

Aissy: 1. The consent form is a form you were asked to fill when you did your biometrics at VFS Abuja. You need to attach the long slip as well. 2. You can pay the transmission fee when you get to the courier office. Your agent is wrong. You shouldn't travel to Abuja. Just go to DHL or UPS office in Benin, they do all the delivery. 3. About the transmission fee, I just confirmed, I paid DHL #13,800 to send my documents from Port Harcourt. 1 Like |

Congratulations @Aissy. Indeed, it has ended in praise. To send your passport to Abuja, you'll need to use a courier service (DHL or UPS). Attach your Passport, Passport request letter, 2 photocopies of your passport bio-data page, biometrics slip, consent letter you got during biometrics, pay for the courier. You won't need to pay money to VFS Abuja since you did your biometrics there. Also, write your name, address and phone number on an A4 paper. Add these in an envelope then send through the courier, they'll send the documents to VFS Abuja and also deliver it to you when it's stamped. VFS Abuja address: 3rd Floor, Plot, Sterling Bank Plaza, 1083 Mohammadu Buhari Way, Central Business District 900211, Abuja Aissy: 5 Likes 1 Share |

Hi guys. I really appreciate the work y'all do here. I've been a silent reader and I've learnt so much from this platform. I'm pleased to say that I got my PPR last week. However, I have a question. How can someone show proof of funds when asked at the Point of Entry (POE) into Canada? All the funds I need are in my sponsor's account. Should I just print his bank statements and letter of sponsorship or transfer the funds to my account? Please treat as urgent. Thanks. gracedson: 1 Like |

PPR Alert!! Indeed God is faithful. I'm so grateful to all the members on this platform that has helped me in my study permit application. I'll try my best to keep this post short. The very first thing I did when I began my journey to study in Canada was to take IELTS Academic. I sat for the exam on the 10th of April, 2021 and results came in sometime around May. Thankfully, I had an overall band 7.5. Listening-8.5 Reading-7.5 Writing-6.5 Speaking-7.5. After that, I started applying to colleges because I didn't get into universities. I applied to Cambrian, Durham, Georgian, Lambton and Conestoga colleges (all in Ontario). Got admissions in all, thankfully. I chose to study Computer Applications Development in Conestoga to begin in January, 2022. Then my visa journey started... TIMELINE Application submitted: 12th July, 2021 Biometrics done and updated (Lagos): 14th July Medical request: 30th September Medicals done (IOM Lagos): 21st October Medicals updated to pass/Eligibility review: 26th October PPR request/BVL: 24th November Passport sent to VFS Abuja: 25th November (awaiting stamping and delivery) DOCUMENTS (Applicant) All the IMM forms International Passport Digital passport photo Letter of Acceptance/Co-op confirmation letter Client information documents - Statement of purpose (Very important) - Degree certificate - Waec result - IELTS result - Professional certificates - Birth certificate - Resume - Police clearance - Nysc discharge certificate - Academic transcript - Family pictures SPONSORS DOCUMENTS Passport bio-data page Birth certificate Proof of first term tuition payment ($8,723) Bank account statements for 5 months (February - June, 2021) Letter of Employment Payslips for 4 months (February - May, 2021) Pictures of sponsor and applicant Truly, it has been God all the way. I know my application wasn't perfect but God perfected it. I studied Chemical engineering and I'm going for a PGCert in Computer Applications Development. Isn't God wonderful?! My sponsor is my elder brother, no lump sum, no landed properties or company registration. Just the first term tuition was paid ($8,723). I was worried about my family ties but I talked about my love for my family and opportunities in Nigeria upon completing my studies. Though the application might be very stressful, the wait may seem long, trust in God and He will make everything beautiful in His time. Indeed, it will end in praise. 35 Likes |

@PrinceAdeAde, I can't remember the exact number I reached them on. However, I placed by booking on October 1st (2021). The earliest available date I saw online was 8th of November (IOM Abuja) and 3rd December (IOM Lagos). I booked for the 8th of November (Abuja) then I called them to reschedule and they changed it to 21st October. Also, they accepted my request to change my test center to Lagos. You'll be asked to send them a mail with your medical request letter and payment/booking confirmation. One thing I noticed was that when I got to IOM Lagos for my medicals, some folks booked that very day at the center because they couldn't reach them via phone/email. So, try and go to their center if you can. I wouldn't have waited 21 days for my medicals if I had known this. My 2 cents. PrinceAdeAde: 2 Likes |

I don't think going there early is a problem. However, you'd have to wait till your appointment time before they attend to you. kennyjoy: 1 Like |
