Culture › Re: The Hardest of the 3 Major Language to Learn by Angel778(f): 8:55pm On Nov 09, 2012
Hausa is the easiest to learn. Bt i cant say yoruba is easy because d general yoruba spoken nw is lagos yoruba, whch is d common one, if u want to hear d deep yoruba, go to Akoko in ondo state, ogbagi, supare, arigidi etc and owo, nt ondo state alone, bt sm part of western state, u wil hadly hear wat they are sayng. Igbo too is sm kind of hard, as a little girl growng up n Lagos wth my igbo frnds, d only word i could pick were d simple ones

dreamer!
Politics › Re: Fashola Is Rude To Non-lagosians – PDP by Angel778(f): 12:21pm On Nov 09, 2012
ballabriggs: That is even worse, outright xenophobia against a people. Denied them their right to work based on their state of origin. Absolutely disgraceful!!!

My mother served as an officer in the Lagos Civil Service and rose as a level 17 officer before retiring. How many non-Igbo's in those SE states have gained employment not to talk of being high ranking civil servants? At a time it was outright discrimination between Enugu and Anambra. Fact is, Lagos is still one of the states that embraces all if not Akabueze and the loud mouthed Joe Igbokwe won't even have the voice as they do today.

With other states placing a ban on Okada operations, there seems to be an influx of of Okada riders to Lagos. Notice that the Okada riders of Northern origin gradually started moving in with the ban on Okada operations in Abuja.

What do you expect the man to do? Fold his hands and watch such menace go unchecked?
thank you my brother. I read ysterday n d paper dat he has provided a job opportunity 4 them, bt dat type of news wnt be posted. Hmmm! Niger, alway lookng at d negative side

afam4eva: You guys should stop twisting events. he never sent anyone parking from the state. he only drove non-indigenes from the civil service.
that is even worst! Driving out non indigenes frm d civil service. Hw wil they acct 4 d years spent on contributng positively to d state, if d reward they wil get is to be driven out. D same Nigeria, d same igbo land!
Family › Re: What Was The Cause Of Disagreement When Making Wedding Plan? by Angel778(f): 12:04pm On Nov 09, 2012
Ramcie: Presently my disagreement is that, I don't want a BIG wedding . I want my wedding to be as simple as possible but my people are not seeing reasons with me. It's their money they would spend not mine but still, I want a small wedding. I believe it's how I live my life after the wedding that matters and not how big the wedding is. I don't care what people would say I prefer them giving me that money so that I can rely on it immediately after the wedding. This is my battle presently and I would keep stressing it over and over again.
that is my stand too. I trust my own people to respect my wish 4 they knw hw strict and determine i can be.

slimyem: Ijebu garri all the way!!
....i hear yellow garri is good for eba though..
Isn't the difference between the two just the oil igbos put in theirs?
the diff is dat d yelow gari has much starch bt d ijebu garri has less starch as a result of fermentation. D yelow gari is nt fermented, hence adding red oil to kill d starch poison in it. I caried out d research durng my sch days. (productn of garri) enterpreneurshp developmt pragram.

Marcela04: Den don't u no it is wrong 2 do some tins infront of kids because dey do tell their friends wat happens @ home.
that is what i always chastis my landlady 4. When she takes her bath along wth her grandson. It is very wrong to expose children to al these act. Why nt wait 4 them to mature a bit b4 educatng them on it. A colleague at work told me abt her dauter who loaded her pant wth tissue paper because she saw her mum dng it. Say 4 dat she saw d little girl was walkng abnormaly b4 she tries who find out wat hapnd, when she discovrd d tissue. If nt, d tissue wld ve bn discovrd by one of her teacher n schl.

so bad! I dnt thnk parent shld expos their kids to this. Why nt shut d door when they want to be intimate.
