Abeg rest...! Buhari, your Boss, didn't do better, yet none of you said this.

Tinubu has won that election... Leave all this empty talk.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Residents Flee Tehran After Israeli Strikes Hit Across Capital(photos) by Angelfrost(m): 10:04pm On Jun 15, 2025
Israel was minding its business in Gaza, Iran leaders decided to go and poke the bear...!

Now, innocent people will pay the price.

If Iran tries too much against Israel, America and other top nations will join the onslaught against them.

America is typically Israel's boy... They can never take any other side.

Iranian leaders are just dumb!
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Gennaro Gattuso Is Italy's New Coach (Photos) by Angelfrost(m): 7:14pm On Jun 15, 2025
Sigh... That's a terrible and pathetic decision from the Italian FA.

As good as Arteta has become coaching Arsenal, handing the Spanish national team to him won't augur well.

Well, Italy's golden age of football is long gone...!

Politics › Re: Nigeria Condemns Israel's Preemptive Attack On Iran, Sues For Peace by Angelfrost(m): 3:35pm On Jun 14, 2025
Nigeria?!!... Which Nigeria?!!

My country or another one?!!

Just say "Tinubu and his clueless gang".

Stop dragging innocent citizens into careless statements made by their leaders.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Countries With The Largest Declines In Freedom (2014-2024) by Angelfrost(m): 3:21pm On Jun 14, 2025
Sigh... Apart from South Africa and Kenya, how many African nations truly allow Freedom of speech?!!

Even those claiming to practice democracy still hate criticisms.
Foreign Affairs › Re: "The Gates Of Hell Will Be Opened" - Iranian Commander Warns Israel by Angelfrost(m): 6:13pm On Jun 13, 2025

Politics › Re: PDP Will Sort Itself Out, Saraki Replies Tinubu by Angelfrost(m): 2:33pm On Jun 13, 2025
Nope... PDP won't do Jack!

That party is dead and gone! No need deceiving yourselves.

You guys had a rare opportunity in 2023 to take over but your greed and corruption stood in the way.

The same corruption and greed that handed Nigeria over to a terrible APC in 2015.
Politics › Re: Tinubu Is Playing Politics Rather Than Working For Nigerians — Peter Obi by Angelfrost(m): 2:29pm On Jun 13, 2025
Sigh... Mr. Peter Obi, how about you tell us something we don't already know, for a change?!!

Like... For you can and intend to do differently if given the chance to lead!

How about campaigning with a better blueprint rather than constantly chasing the tail and shadow of the poor leader in Aso Rock.

This pattern has since become cliché and distasteful.

There is no democracy there just a bunch of potentates
Democracy is generally uncommon among core Islamic nations... Still doesn't mean some aren't smart enough not to mind their businesses, like Saudi and UAE.

Iran has always been spoiling for war with Israel, even when the Jewish nation has no direct or indirect business with them.

You would think they have a really strong and unbeatable military might.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Mossad Established Explosive Drone Base In The Heart Of Iran(photos) by Angelfrost(m): 2:06pm On Jun 13, 2025
Iran... All bark and noise! No military weight.

I wonder why these core Islamic nations can't be like Saudi, Kuwait, Jordan, Qatar and UAE...!

Why pick quarrels and fights that you can't win?!!

Israel dey their own, una carry una dumb brains go put head inside wetin no consign una.

Well... Y'all will learn the hard way. Smh!

Health › Re: Did You Know Aging Doesn’t Happen Gradually — It Comes In Waves? by Angelfrost(m): 1:16pm On Jun 13, 2025
Okay... There might be some truth to this.

Still, everyone ages differently, especially races.

Asians and Africans age the slowest, which is not unconnected to their diets and outdoor lifestyles.

People who eat artificial foods (processed foods), exercise little, sleep little, and work long hours will age quickly and badly.
Politics › Re: Thousands Of People Hold Pro Tinubu/alia Rally In Benue Ahead Of 2027 (photos) by Angelfrost(m): 12:57pm On Jun 13, 2025
Sigh... If you ever needed evidence as to why Nigeria can never move forward, this topic/news should do!

Nigerians are the reason why Nigeria can never be redeemed!

A nation where only less than 10 percent of the population are mentally liberated and de-tribalized... And you expect what to happen?!!

What miracle are you demanding from Heaven?!!

Nah... Forget this country abeg!
Career › Re: "Dignity In Labour;" Doing Odd Jobs To Survive Harsh Economic Realities by Angelfrost(m): 6:27pm On Jun 12, 2025
IbeOkehie:
My response to him is that menial jobs in the Anglo-West provide a reasonable standard of living. A country where menial jobs can't provide at least a lower middle class life is NOT a good one to live in. In a classical liberal free market economy, those WHO CAN will move up the skills ladder.

Nigerians don't understand the extent to which their country is structurally deficient. For example, many will cite the 1970's Oil Boom as a time when Nigerian was rich and the people were enjoying, it never occurs to them to think about how many people were doing the enjoyment. Likely less than 5%, that was a time when less than 0.2% of the population has access to phone service, a good marker of middle class life.

The country has deteriorated to the point now that when a Nigerian university graduate is pressed for evidence of national prosperity, s/he will shout "DANGOTE" in a country where less than 7% of people in the biggest city have access to piped water and electricity is a luxury.

Nonsense. Better to wipe nyash in London !

Good Luck to Nigeria.
You have said it all... Nothing more to add.

Maybe one day, Nigerians will wake up.

A plan is good but not necessary. I use myself as a good example, I had ZERO skills when I got to the USA. Even as an illegal cook at $4/hr I lived better than entry level doctors and bankers in Nigeria.

I remember during the Great Recession, around 2007 to 2008 and up to 2012 , this same thing was a major argument against migrating to Western Europe and the USA. I know several Black Africans who migrated around that time, most are settled into a great life today. As I've repeatedly written on this forum, it's not even about high earning migrants. I know several Nigerians in the USA who have spent over 20 years as drivers, cleaners, nursing aides, cooks and such, and still do those jobs today, in many cases BOTH man and wife work such menial jobs. They mostly live at a standard that would be upper middle class in Nigeria. They own homes, their children attend or graduated university and have started buying their own homes. As teens ALL their kids owned cars.

My parents colleagues in Nigeria have started getting their pensions again, especially in Abia State. People who retired as secondary school principals and Directors in State Civil Service are getting ₦5K and ₦20K per month as pension. My mother came to the USA at age 55, RETRAINED AND worked 20 years and retired. Guess how much she sends home to people in Nigeria every month? It's in the millions of naira. I have SEVERAL people in my social circle whose parents trod the same path. One of them, his parents just bought a house.

The point is, almost ANYTHING in the Anglo-West is better than Nigeria, the Poverty Capital of the World.

Good Luck to Nigerians.
I have to agree with you to an extent...!

Like I also said earlier, most Nigerians just have the poor mentality of looking down on Blue collar jobs abroad... They think it's demeaning and too low paying.

My other response to that guy was regarding those hoping to avoid doing menial jobs abroad.

What of those who don't have great skills? Methinks they're more likely to to get a middle class life in an Anglo-Western country.

Anyone at any stage of life or economic class will likely improve their circumstances by legal migration to an Anglo-Western country.

Good Luck to Nigerians
Well, as long as the nation in question has a very thriving economy (like United states), yep they can get something to do which will be a vast improvement.

But, if it's not a thriving economy (like Canada), then it will be nothing but minimum wage jobs, at least till they get the necessary skills or education.

Either way, having a good plan and a well researched approach will be a great boost.

Christianity Etc › Re: Nigeria Churches Are One Of The Reasons Why Many Nigerians Are Poor - Pastor Son by Angelfrost(m): 5:04pm On Jun 11, 2025
Well, the truth is... Religion, not just church, has always been an instrument for manipulating the weak and to keep the poor subservient.

That's why Education needs to do more to liberate people's minds.

Health › Re: Doctor Not Nurse Refused To Treat Accident Victim At FMC, Abuja (Photos) by Angelfrost(m): 2:39pm On Jun 11, 2025
Well, at this point, this is moot...!

Whether it was a nurse, pharmacist, or cleaner... It still boils down to poor care management in that establishment, which reflects on the leadership and management.

When you instill a law and culture of ethics and professionalism, none of your staff will act in such way towards patients.

Such acts of being uncaring and crude happens in almost all public health centers in Nigeria, and every member of the healthcare team is culpable!

All thanks to the japa virus.
More like... All thanks to Japa without adequate planning and economic forecast.

Anyone thinking of relocating ought to first check the labor market in those nations... Find out what skills are needed for certain jobs, and obtain them (this can be easily done online).

You can't be equipped with skills like Web design, SQL and Big Data query, Tableau, etc, and end up pushing wheelbarrow or serving tables... Nope!!!

You will even apply and get jobs before buying your tickets.

Simple facts!!!

Most Nigerians travel without adequate preparation for life in a foreign land.
Career › Re: "Dignity In Labour;" Doing Odd Jobs To Survive Harsh Economic Realities by Angelfrost(m): 2:29pm On Jun 11, 2025
Okay.... So?!!

There is no job that is undignified as long as it suits your level of qualification and certification coupled with a decent pay.

It's an anomaly that a minimum wage earner anywhere in the world can't at least feed and accommodate himself.

There are even citizens of these diaspora nations doing these jobs, and are happy doing them...!

The problem with most Nigerians is their mentality of looking down on Blue collar jobs and craftsmanship...!

No wonder our nation is so pathetic...! That's why people try to bribe their way with large sums just to get civil service jobs that pay the bare minimum.
Family › Re: Emirate Mall Supermarket In Kwara Denied Man Access Because Of Baby’s Appearance by Angelfrost(m): 5:42pm On Jun 10, 2025
When I tell you people that an average Nigerian has no moral justification to complain about racism and xenophobia abroad, una think say my own too much.

Discrimination and Stigmatization coupled with Bigotry are deeply embedded into the DNA of most Nigerians.

The fact that we are termed the most religious people on Earth makes it even more pathetic and laughable!

The Hypocrisy of you Conglomeration of Negroes!

But he scored the second goal.
Though after his absence, Portugal started pressing more
I respect his goal contributions... But, the team needs to start playing without him.

A younger, faster and more skillful player should be starting, and the national team has loads of them.
