Detonate?!! Op! ![]() How do you not know the meaning of "Detonate", or how it differs from "Defuse"?!! |
Rest well ma...! Sadly, I deeply believe that ship has already sailed. A united Nigeria is a lost dream... A joke taken too far! |
Definitely "Iyogogo". |
So sad! Was it not just last week we discussing her on this forum?!! Amazing woman...! Lived her life in simplicity and quietly. No room for drama and controversies. |
Pureycad:Sigh... Do you still have RIGHTS in Nigeria?!! Think hard about it. Apc has done a wonderful job of systematically muddying the waters of Constitutional rights. ![]() Your Judiciary is compromised and literally kowtows to the high and mighty. |
Love800:I'm sorry, is that question rhetorical?!! |
AcuraZDX:Well, the leaders simply can't allow Endsars happen again...! That was perilously close to a bloody national revolution. Even Buhari was truly shocked to the marrow. It's just sad that these leaders can't understand and accept the need to lay aside their greed and corruption, and actually get the nation working. They keep playing with fire, thinking the people will remain cowardly, docile and too divided to revolt. They forget that REVOLUTIONS like the Arab Spring and the one in France happened without warning or planning. |
Well, anything that ensures a successful and peaceful protest, without loss of lives and properties, is most welcome...! It can be said that they are doing all they can to dampen the impending protests, and they might actually succeed. However, the truth remains... For how long will you keep suppressing the cries of the millions suffering?!! I mean... Is that even sustainable?!! When these people reach their breaking points, death would mean nothing to them. So, this administration needs to wake up and act fast! Time has more or less run out! |
flokii:Lol... I sense so much hate and insecurity wrapped up in you, and it's sad... It's also amusing. ![]() Simon Ekpa is a terrorist that will burn in Hell! So, I really don't know what you are on about. I am against destruction of lives and properties under any guise, whether politics or protests. Let the security agents do their jobs of securing lives and properties, while those interested in protesting peacefully against poor leadership be allowed to do so! That's how simple life gets. That's how a Democracy works (in case you don't know). If touts and lowlifes will be recruited or needed to help in the policing and security of lives and properties, then it's very welcome. |
flokii:I agree... They should shoot to kill every Agbero and tout using protests as a cover to loot, kill, and destroy. If they had done their jobs during Endsars, most of those destructions would have been prevented. They were simply caught unprepared. |
Good one...! Let me believe this translates to low rate of Insecurity across the state. ![]() |
Ngige said they have more than enough doctors in Nigeria...! |
DevilsEqual:Are Yorubas the only people in power?!! Did I mention any tribe anywhere?!! Your conscience is doing a number on you. |
This is easily one of the best writings I have read this year so far...! Until we all accept and take responsibility for our individual and collective contributions and roles in the destruction of this nation, we will never heal or forge a way back. Sadly, the people still in control of the nation are the same ones that have been destroying it. |
Prodabs:Wait make him tar road finish for Abuja, then he will have time for his boy in Rivers...! ![]() |
Both you and Wike are irrelevant to average Nigerians right now. We are talking about hunger, poverty and insecurity across a whole Giant of Africa, 2 old people are busy acting like spoiled brats! |
Well, protests or no protests... The lesson here is that Enough is indeed Enough! This shoddy and corrupt style and way of governance from federal to state has gone on for too long! It's good to see that every top leader is rattled and frightened. ...Cos if you citizens continue keeping quiet and playing idiotic ethnic and religious cards, these politicians will unite and bury this country! Their entire families are secured abroad! Their kids will never school, work or suffer in Nigeria. |
I love the fact that our security agents can show this kind of force...! So.... Why is security worsening all over the nation?!! Where has this show of force been all these while terrorists and bandits have been running shows all over the nation?!! Why is this show of force not along the highways to prevent kidnapping?!! |
Someone guilty and convicted of such crimes was allowed to go home and put his house in order?!! They basically helped him escape conviction. I'm almost certain he bribed his way out of that corrupt nation! Even if you had to let him go home (they didn't have to), what stopped them from placing him under surveillance?!! This means he could have returned to his victim and killed her in vengeance. |
Sigh... Dear Jagaban, this is not the way to practice Democracy o. When you, Soyinka, Buhari and others organised and participated in Occupy Nigeria in 2012, I didn't see thugs and Iyalojas going about warning and threatening people against protesting. These are dangerous antecedents. Already, Bubu has effortlessly buried obedience to rule of war... Now, you want to demonise and criminalise protests. On paper and to the outside world, we are practicing democracy, but inside Nigeria, there is literally dictatorship ongoing. |
Princedapace:Same question I posed to the fellow above...! Maybe amnesia or short-term memory has made them forget that the people fighting tooth and nail to crush protests once organised and pushed hard with protests against a democratic government while in the opposition. |
DevilsEqual:So, in summary... Let the statusquo remain... Let those suffering, continue suffering and dying, while those financially more comfortable should keep thriving. As long as nothing bothers your people in Power, since its their turn to rule. |
No smoke without fire...!. Arik should do their homework and sort out their issues. |
tifirmuny:In trouble?!! Nah... Nigeria is not in trouble! Not anymore! We were in trouble under Buhari... He took us beyond that. Nigeria might actually be DOOMED! Irreversibly damaged for generations yet unborn. |
You people are wasting your time reasoning with South African dolts...! Their leaders are clearly as xenophobic as the citizens. If not for desperation and poor leadership in Nigeria, wetin suppose carry a citizen of Nigeria go settle dey drag citizenship for South Africa?!! ![]() |
These complaints are unnecessary and premature...! Just keep calm and give it time... Things haven't even gotten worse yet! This administration is just warming up. ![]() |
Well done...! Quitting what you consider bad habits remains a huge milestone in your personal growth in life. However, don't make a meal of it...! ![]() |
LegendHero:Endsars protests happened all over Nigeria...! Naturally, such protests will be used as a cover by miscreants and hoodlums to do horrible things. This happens all over the world. That doesn't mean protests are evil or illegitimate. Blame your poor security setup for allowing such escalate, and giving evil people the needed cover to wreck havoc. Demonising protests by suffering people because of Endsars doesn't show much intelligence... No offense. |
His mates dey protest hunger and suffering...! Na toto be this one priority. ![]() |
Yawns....! Eye Service! ![]() |
Yet, your leaders can afford to draft all the soldiers and Policemen to Abuja and Lagos to counter or prevent legitimate protests...! A nation is drowning in famine due to insecurity and poor policies, but a lot of attention is rather focused on Planned Protests. No wonder criminals and terrorists are so comfortable across the nation. |
Who trains these Policemen?!!... See how easy they are to pick out. ![]() |
