Wow... Even in semi-retirement, man is still smashing records. While Rashford in his prime is fooling around. |
When they say "no place like home", I guess they aren't referring to everywhere on Earth...! Cos, warrisdis?!! |
Generator Republic...! I wonder why some of you take offense when the truth about your nation is spoken out loud in public. When South Africa termed us Generator Republic, I couldn't take offense... like, why should the truth offend me?!! We need to do better as a nation. |
Before opening the thread, I already correctly guessed at least 10 names there. Funny enough they are the core support base of the party that has been misruling the nation for almost a decade. Can't be a coincidence. |
Take a good look at this nation... If you have billions of Dollars to invest, would you pick Nigeria over several others?!! We need to put our house in order at all cost, not chasing shadows. Insecurity, Power Generation Issues, and Corruption must be tackled before any serious investments will be attracted here. |
JoeEeL:You do make a great point sha...! |
Judolisco:Yet you have no problem with Peter Obi answering for the misdemeanours of his numerous followers. What else does Reno do all day but call out Peter Obi for every little thing done by those not even remotely related to him?!! Karma has no restrictions. |
Only a matter of time before someone who has Reno's time takes up his matter...! He that comes to the table of equity must first wash his hands thoroughly. |
SoNature:Nah... Nothing like that. Bobrisky was punished for something other than Naira abuse. This idiot's arrest is what you call a Red Herring or Smokescreen. Anyone with half a brain knew Cubana whatever was never going to any jail... The whole thing was meant to make Bob's arrest and conviction look balanced and fair. |
Okay... So, you would take an indigenous Language speaker lacking leadership skills and morality over a better leader who can't speak the language! Interesting...! |
JoeEeL:Brother, I personally never saw Chelsea as an underdog... Not since their narrowly missing out against Man United via penalties. That's just my personal opinion anyway. Mourinho has taken the two main underdogs to win it in history... Porto and Inter. |
Sigh... Why should there even be an age limit?!! Is that supposed to be an issue or a priority?!! Why can't there be an age limit for marrying ladies off?!! Sometimes, I wonder if Nigerian leaders travel out of this nation, or if they just deliberately choose to be archaic with regards to leadership decisions. |
Yet the Yahoo menace continues to worsen daily. How about EFCC works with other top IT agencies to make it extremely difficult for these idiots to operate online?!! The members of the public especially the elderly and semi-literates should be constantly informed and taught about better ways to safeguard their funds. That might work better at prevention and being proactive. We shouldn't always be playing catch-up in everything, especially security of lives and funds. |
sylve11:Lol... That would be good for football. An underdog winning it for a change. ![]() I haven't seen that happen since Mourinho led an underrated Inter Milan to clinch it against all odds. But, PSG still has a dog in this fight. Madrid and Bayern are no pushover. |
aswani:Why should they?!! Is there a part of the Constitution that forbids freedom of speech and movement?!! If their actions and words are criminal and dangerous, what's stopping the authorities from clamping down on them?!! If their antics irritate you so much, why not ignore them?!! How exactly are they distracting?!! Are Obi and his followers the causes of: 1. Hyperinflation 2. Massive and widespread killings and insecurity 3. Constant devaluation of the Naira 4. Fuel scarcity 5. Corruption among elected officials 6. Incredibly shocking Electricity supply Which of the pressing issues above are the fault of Obi and his idiotic followers?!! When did stupidity among a select few become more pressing than poor leadership and hardship?!! |
Which governors?!! Una go demand taya. Y'all better revisit Kanu's ESN initiative... However, purge it of any and every criminal tendency and affiliation. |
Judolisco:No amount of lies can hide the glaring and obvious truth. Obi can lie all he wants, that's his cup of tea... He is not in power, and he is not in charge of national information and orientation. So, if Obi is lying, who is hiding the truth?!! Why are the citizens not privy to the real facts?!! Shouldn't every Nigerian be well apprised of everything happening in their nation?!! Is that not their right?!! Since Obi lies a lot, don't you think even his ardent followers will call him to order if the truth is widespread and obvious?!! Let me reiterate... Hiding behind Peter Obi's opposition rants to hide leadership shortcomings makes no sense whatsoever. This is just simple. |
Judolisco:Maybe... Just maybe, we focus less on Obi for once in this nation. Don't you think? Maybe it's becoming obvious that your leaders and their supporters are using everything Obi does and says as an excuse to hide their failings, and most of us are falling cheaply for it. Isn't it weird that since elections ended, Obi has been more in the news and more criticised than those actually in the positions of power?!! What Obi says or doesn't say is of no real substance compared to the realities on ground... and the major reality is that the nation is retrogressing at a shocking rate. |
vanbonattel:Perfect description... Wisdom dey your head. I wonder why suffering people will choose to focus on a man not connected to their travails in any way. Most Nigerians are mentally strange. |
When I told people that Petrol price was headed to 1000 per Litre as far back as last year, some of you insulted me. They just had to create an artificial scarcity to set that plan in motion. Eventually, the fake scarcity will end, but Fuel is never going back to 650 - 700 per Litre. They have sunken that ship permanently. They have managed to do the same with Electicity and Education. Honestly, if you are not wealthy, you've no business using electricity, petrol, eating well, or sending your kids to school...! Matter of fact, you have no business breathing at all. ![]() |
Judolisco:Well, I don't bank on them winning the tournament, but they play good football. Atletico Madrid can attest to how they were schooled... And if PSG doesn't sit up, they will be dealt with. We might even end up having an all Germany final. ![]() |
geoworldedu:I like Messi, but quit this kinda talk abeg. PSG has been a high flying team dominating France, and even came close to winning UCL before Messi came there. Must you people always twist plain facts just to suit players you worship?!! Ko necessary na. Just like Ronaldo fans claiming that he made Juventus better by coming over there... Like, how?!! |
Mbappe and PSG for the Final...! Tho both teams deserve a second chance to win it at the final. |
Una just dey give APC and Jagaban list of destinations to go hunting for loans and bambiala. ![]() |
That was a very stupid way to evade a question...! Dave Umahi just disgraced himself and the position he's occupying. Just look at the caliber of people appointed into key positions... And you expect progress. SMH. I Don kukuma remove all expectations from Naija matter. |
CommonSense1967:Nah... God will bless everyone whether or not they love a geographical location or country. ![]() Honestly, HE has blessed everyone willing to abide by the universal principles of success. Patriotism has nothing to do with success in life. |
emkz:Oh okay... I see now. Thanks. |
emkz:Everyone can't win elections...! That doesn't mean Obi can't speak on issues affecting the nation as a private citizen. The pertinent question is if his criticisms and concerns are valid. Leaving the substance of his criticisms to focus on his electoral adventures smacks of intellectual deprivation. |
Sonyboom:Yes... Billions entered private account via that very project. That's not news na. At least that one saw the light of day... Let's hope this one does as well. We won't bother about the inevitable financial crimes, as long as the project sees completion. Any further questions??! ![]() |
Quest7777:Sigh... how about when there are even far more pressing issues on ground??! 1. Power Generation and Supply 2. Youth Empowerment 3. Agricultural revolution and food security 4. Security 5. Etc... I think these people use these white elephant projects to siphon funds or launder stolen funds. |
Sheuns:Money wasted??! Lol! I think you mean Money Diverted to personal accounts. ![]() |
