manie: I gave instruction for the purchase of FBN when it gets to N5.00. If FBN touches N4.00, I may consider selling one of my cars, sell a plot of land and even get a loan to buy more. ........Sure you will make profit but how much capital appreciation is what we don't know because from 4 it could reach 5.8 now and stop there........Most stocks are creating new low and new high and I don't like it...............So if you buy FBNH at 4,please don't expect to climb more than 6...................Except if they pay dividend................. |

manie: You can not compare the corporate governance of FBN with Oando, Onasanya made mistakes and is going in December 2015 spending about 5 years as MB/CEO of FBN. Wale and his gang have repeatedly ruined and mismanaged Oando since 2001 and they are are still at the helms of affairs in the company. I thought he left already................... |

735i: C'mon mate.. I'm not being pessimistic.. I'm just trying to paint a true picture of what's going on in FBNH.... I don't stand to gain anything from being prejudiced against FBNH. But isn't it better if short term investors knew the true position of their investors and cut losses when they can? I've seen people get burnt cos they didn't have sufficient insight... And that's why we're all here? To share info? Apologies if I touched a nerve Let's remember that investors work hard for their money... Factor current economic situation and you will agree that they are doing their best unless you are bias............FBNH is not hiding their balance sheet but they have plans to clean it up...............As you said lets wait till the end of year result is out and then we can see..........EPS is not bad and they are still making profit.............. |

735i: When I raised red flags... People indirectly insult me... Make una wait FY result.. Na dat one go make una shit soft... Once the outgoing M.D commot... Una go get the true picture... FBNH is currently a ship in reverse gear Enough of your pessimism.................Yes FBNH is exposed to non-performing loans and thats why they couldn't pay dividend because they are trying to clean up their balance sheet.................I am not happy with current trend too but the picture that you are painting is with prejudice............ |

PETERiCHY: COMPARISON has been the major factor that drives alot into crimes which in turn lead to their early grave.
Why pray to be BIG for NOTHING when GOD have destined you to be SMALL but MIGHTY
Well CONTENTMENT is the KEY.

PETERiCHY: I still maintain my stand that OANDO will make long termers stinkingly.
From onset i issued a very loud and scary warning that OANDO is strictly meant for "LONG TERM IDLE FUND"
And that those with short term fund of any sort should stay out off the kitchen.
Imagine grabing it @N6 now only to end up selling @ above N100 in 4yrs time

Who wan buy these? Even amcon have stopped buying.
On another note, there was magic on Uba today. It dropped to 4.01, immediately I put in my bid, it reversed to 4.15. UBA closed at 4.05 but it will close lower by next week..................I tried not to be tempted into jumping into any stock now............ |

feelamong: banks were just selling treasury bills and bonds..
moreover why wont they make money when they collect deposits at 2 -3% and turn round to lend at 25-30% There are too many avenue for banks to make money..............You can imagine that Access charges 40k custodian fee on 10Million Treasury bills and 6k as t.bills commission while some other banks charges only 6k for both custody and commission...........Some banks are plainly robbing peter to pay paul................ |
