Another major factor that led to loss of money is the fact that there was no online trading platform.............Even when the intercontinental/UBN issue was going on I couldn't sell my stock and I accepted the losses like that..............I hate that UBN stock with passion...........The takeover was fraudulent and thats why something like that will never happen to me again...........

Costain to 35Naira?.............May God punish those who manipulated that useless stock.............

Even long term investors shouldn't stake their fund in idle stock like Oando except if the fund is stolen.................The idea of long term investment is slow appreciation of investment over long period of time...............

Haba you are an old timer in this business now, you are expected to pay 10% withholding tax on your dividend. E be like say na your first dividend be this or you no dey observe say your dividends dey short by 10%.

I queried Afriprud early this year but they didn't say anything reasonable but FBNH sent me a payment advice which showed that some money was deducted.................Thanks to online trading platform which has made it easy for me to check everything very well and do everything by myself..........I have collected dividends but most often they hardly issue payment advice and they also make the e-payment in batches.........But this year FBNH sent me a payment advice after payment which shows 10% deduction but didn't pay much attention..........My main goal here is serious capital appreciation even though i don't mind the dividend also...................

On another note- this TSA issue may affect the price of banking stock heavily. Fbn and zenith will be most affected by the policy. It is no longer business as usual. All fg institutions and parastatals ncluding nta, fed govt sec schools and major institutions including nnpc, customs, immigration were moved to CBN account yesterday.

Before now I know banks provide for 75% but now, even the 25% banks enjoy is no more. They are now paid processing fee which is n5 naira per 1000 naira collected . this is still attractive but cannot be compared to the float income the collecting banks have been enjoying- weekly and monthly.
State institutions likewise have started consolidating their accounts. In my very eyes, a state govt arm moved all their money from many banks to one bank (not CBN yet).

Heads will roll . time for plan b,c,d .....if you earn your pay from DMBs .

It will have one week effect only before the bank will adapt.............The money in question is just $6.5Billion which is 10% of total money in banks..................Why the worry?.............
