I am not sure i understand you. I have not done any change at all. I only booked for lagos but the avaialable dates are not okay by me. I want to cancel and change to Abuja but this message is in my profile. Can I use same recipt for abuja? I cant afford to pay another MRV fee geofortress: You can only schedule twice on one MRV fee. So if you change to a date in Abuja from Lagos, then you would have exceeded to two possible scheduling.
I knew some one that paid 2 MRV to get a date in Abuja last week. He rescheduled 4 times until he get a closer dates. Abuja though. |

Travel › Re: Sevis Fee Increased From $200 To $350, SEVP Annouces Changes To Program Fees by angels1: 7:49am On Jun 16, 2021 |
Hello pleaseI need to reach you concerning paying sevp Walspring: On May 23, 2019, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) published a final rule to adjust fees charged by the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) to international students, exchange visitors and SEVP-certified schools. The final rule is available on the Federal Register and will take effect June 24, 2019.
Fee Increases
DHS will implement an increase in the following fees:
The I-901 SEVIS Fee for F and M international students will increase from $200 to $350. DHS will maintain the $35 I-901 SEVIS Fee for J exchange visitors in the au pair, camp counselor, and summer work or travel program participant categories, but increase the full I-901 SEVIS Fee for other J exchange visitors from $180 to $220. The SEVP school certification petition fee for initial certification will increase from $1,700 to $3,000. New Fees
DHS will introduce the following new fees:
A $1,250 fee for SEVP-certified schools filing a petition for recertification. A $675 fee when schools file the Form I-290B, “Notice of Appeal or Motion." DHS will maintain the $655 fee for a site visit for a petitioning school and its additional schools or campuses during initial certification, but will also charge this fee when a SEVP-certified school changes its physical location or adds a new physical location or campus to its Form I-17, “Petition for Approval of School for Attendance by Nonimmigrant Student." The new fees will be implemented at 12:00 a.m. EDT June 24, 2019, after which time all schools and students will be required to pay the new and increased fees.
Students
Regulation requires all prospective F, M and J students to pay the I-901 SEVIS Fee before the Department of State issues a visa. Students and exchange visitors who pay the I-901 SEVIS Fee prior to the fee implementation date, but before they obtain a visa or enter the United States, will not need to pay the difference between the new fee and the old fee. Students will continue to pay the I-901 SEVIS Fee on FMJfee.com.
Schools
Schools will continue to pay all fees related to the Form I-17 at Pay.gov, and will pay the new Form I-290B, “Notice of Appeal or Motion,” fee at Pay.gov. Should a school submit a complete initial certification or recertification petition, petition update or Form I-290B and it is not filed or adjudicated before the fee implementation date, the school will not be required to pay the new or increased fee retroactively while in submitted status. If SEVP cancels a school’s submission on or after the date the new fees are implemented because the original petition was incomplete, the school will be required to pay the new fees when resubmitting their petition.
SEVP will communicate all updates regarding the new fee changes to SEVP’s social media channels and ICE.gov/SEVP. For specific questions, please contact the SEVP Response Center.

Can I request a change in I 20 before I apply? Tayoade19: 1. No 2. No, but if you're asked anything regarding that, tell the VO, why you need a 2nd MSc 3. Since you i20 doesn't show that you have dependents or since there is no i20 for your dependents, he will need to apply for F2 while you're there after you must have contacted the DSO of your school to ammend/update your i20. 4. No problem but be ready to defend why you need to do a second masters at the embassy....Are u focusing on something different from what u did earlier. is there a demand/need for this ur new masters at ur place of work? It would be easier to defend a second masters if its on scholarship. 3. I dont know. 4. Family on your I20 is safe. U can mention any family member. Hello everyone I have some questions
1. Does the immigration officer have access to forms you sent to school. 2. Is there a problem if you are going for a second masters in US? 3. When filling DS160 the portion that states if you are traveling with company what is the best answer. I intend traveling with my husband but he does not yet have his passport and my I 20 does not indicate I am traveling with anyone. If I fill i am not traveling with anyone can he apply for f2 if I am still in the country? 4. When I sent my proof of funds to school I filled cousin but my i20 shows family. If asked who is sponsoring me can I say uncle or brother I have to say cousin? Thank you. |

Pictures dont matter your marriage certificate is enough proof Frankrobbn1: Your spouse would apply for spousal open work permit (SOWP). You need to provide legal documents to prove that you're legally married to him.
You need the following documents to establish relationship with your spouse (hubby)
PROOF OF RELATIONSHIP DOCUMENTS 1. Marriage Certificate 2. Newspaper change of name 3. Throw back family pictures 4. Snap shot of WhatsApp video call or messages for the last six months (if any). 5. Wedding photos.
I hope this information is helpful to your enquiry.

Do you know how long eligibility review takes? oladapo2020: Hello, From what I can see here, they have not started reviewing your eligibility. That means you will have to be patient. Although things are becoming faster these days. Pray that your eligibility starts in few days and you get your approval. You can send webforms as well like a week interval that is if your application has passed normal processing time. If your application is still within normal processing times, send webforms sparingly It will end in praise |

What do they check for in admissibility? fratermathy: They've not started your eligibility check as of the time the GCMS notes were generated. You've finished admissibility and that a good thing. If you pass eligibility, you're good to go. Just be hopeful. |

How did you book your room? Is it shared apartment and can you give the price range. I am looking for a cheap place. MOKENN: Good people I'm reaching y'all live from my quarantine room in Hamilton.
I arrived yesterday by 3pm canadian time via Emirates after a 5hr layover at Dubai and a long 15hr flight.
Temperature is 1°C outside. My friend n old school mate picked me from YYZ and we went to eat at the residence of another old school mate who's married but husband is in the air arriving nxt yr.
There were several checks . At 9ja you have airport officials checking weights of baggage, the Emirates staff checking covid-19, study papers like passport, LOA, Enrollment n tuition receipt, arriveCAN and flight ticket. Immigration dey too. Then those that search u and ur carryon before boarding.
At Dubai after the 5hrs layover, the Emirates guys still rechecked all the papers and we boarded.
Boeing 777 was cool. U are in an entertainment station of your own. You can request any drink anytime. Food was big ...though I no de eat much.
We delayed 1hr before take off cos one Arab family on 1st class came late.
Wetin u go do nah?
At YYZ, u go trekk o. Trek reach boarder officers they checked same papers, the guy offer me coffee sef. And gave me my study permit n directives on how to get SIN and Bank account.
Next step the agent only asked me to show my arriveCAN app. That's all.
I went to claim my other two 23kg boxes that I checked in.
Dogs just de stroll around de sniff bags
Just before I exited to the waiting area, I was asked my declaration card.
As they see say I carry fish, the guy asked if I have ginger n vegetables I said yes. He politely said I should go for search.
I did.
The guy only inspected the ginger and opened the exit door to the waiting area.
I stepped out and waited until my guy came to pick me.
It's 18:49 here. We are still in 2020.
Gotten my Canada mobile line, Applied for SIN and booked an appointment with TD Bank for the 14th for my bank account since I have to appear in person.
Keep trying my people. All the wahala is worth it.
