My wife got an offer from MMU too, been waiting for cas since on the 25th of last month.
After series of calls and mails they acknowledged that they just got the request for cas on Tuesday after initially saying they didnt receive the request.

Ah this is serious, my daughter sent all the documents with POF on 28th June, after many calls and emails, all they replied is that they are waiting for the department to verify the date of arrival. I don't understand this at all when resumption is on 13th September

I want to believe that the international agent of the University is not proactive.

Good evening friends, has anyone with offers for September intake in Manchester Metropolitan University gotten CAS? It's two weeks documents are sent with statement of account but till date they have not issued the CAS.

Please who ever has gotten their CAS from this university should let me know what to do.

After printing the 28days, Manchester Metropolitan University said I did not make transaction on the 28th day before printing for CAS. Is it compulsory to make payment before printing?

Yes she can pay for you from UK, make sure all your details are used for the payment eg your full name and your ID number

I paid the maximum which is 10,450 at once using UBA and it went through and I’ve gotten telex. I’m waiting for the school to confirm receipt.

In addition, send your Telex Receipt to the university, don't wait untill they confirmed it

If you print out a 28 day bank statement but took an additional six days to get your CAS statement from your university, would you still be able to go ahead with visa application? Is that what the 30 day rule mean? How exactly long is the 28 day bank statement valid for?

What you will do is to count another 28-30 days BACKWARDS from the day you want to print your statement of account for Visa.

Exactly, even before other offers come pls start applying now to other schools, it's not that bad now..person never even start school, wahala don plenty like this, just back out from this mess, advise him to apply to other better universities. Him head no accept that sch abeg.

USW!!! Huun, my daughter got an Unconditional offer, but she was not comfortable with the university, she googled the location of the school and found out that to travel from the school to the city will take hours, the school is in a small town.

Thank God that she have other offer from Leeds Beckett.

I have made my choice of school. Leeds Beckett University. Will be paying the 5,000 deposit next week.

Leeds city is good, with part time jobs posting to your email from the University.
Also Sheffield Hallam is not far from Leeds Beckett you can work there and back to Leeds by train, you will enjoy schooling there.

You are very Correct, you either credit N500 or N1,000 a day to give you your final balance, that's what I did for my daughter, and adviced by the University agent.

Think about it

Check out cross rate of pounds to dollar on oanda and multiply to the exact visa fee
E.g if visa fee is 300pounds
300*1.4186(cross rate today)= $425
Same for iHS

Good morning all,i just processed my and submitted my form A for my tuition deposit tow days ago,though my account has not been debited.
My question is can i start with my pof this week?

Yes you can start your POF, you will be debited and your Telex will be send to your email and it's very important to send it to your university as an evidence of your payment. While all this is going on, your 28 will be counting. You will send the POF with your documents and CAS form to your University. So it's better to start counting immediately.

Please can someone provide me with information if its possible for me to pay tuition deposit from my gtb account to UK bank account and how many days will it take to reflect. Thank you.

If it is an urgent payment, I adviced you to think of other Banks because of GTB experience.
Stanbic Bank debited me in 24hrs and the Telex was also sent to my email.

Suggestions

If your mum is been careful for any reason best known for her, you can quickly open an account in her bank and they transfer the money there. Then put PND on the account till you are done! By that everyone is safe.

My advise though.

I am a mother any way, I just adviced based on what I did with my daughter's Account, with the MSc POF

Why? If okay by you, your Mum should be checking her email and her phone 24/7 ones she didn't pick the UKVI calls, that is authomatic refusals.
But if the funds are in your account, it will be very straightforward and if you are asked how you got it, tell them that your Mum supported you.

I used Stanbic ibtc bank on Monday morning and my account was debited on Tuesday evening this same week

What you need to reflect in your SoA and which you should be more concerned about is what the embassy needs to see Tuition balance of £10,500 + £9,207 Maintenance

The school already gave you their words that the tuition discount will reflect on your CAS. That's how it'll be.
