If ur friend can't login to his application by himself, that means d agent used his own email. The email ur friend used on d day of his biometrics is for vfs and not ircc. Mathematically, the processing time is now 7 years according to the agent. So, indirectly, the agent is telling the applicant that if you apply in 2023, you can expect your visa to be approved by 2030 😊. but the agent format may be right at-least Canada visa ban last 5 years so by 7th year the ban go don expire 😂😂😂

my own believe is that they hardly refuse Visa if it has stayed so long. very funny assumption =)

If ur application is June last yr, ur agent has ur decision already.
I just wonder why some agents are like dis? U will not use applicants information for registration and when decision has been taken, u will still keep it from them.

mine is June last year and till now nothing has happened ... yes, it does happen that way sometimes... Someone that applied since 2017 just got his Visa last month. my own believe is that they hardly refuse Visa if it has stayed so long.

Use police and army and any security agents wey u knw, match straight to that ur agents office and demand to open ur portal in ur presence.

This is one year I did my biometrics and applied for my visitors Visa to Canada through agent and yet know decision has been made , although other friends of mine that applied through him have either gotten their visas or got denied. During my Visa application he told me that Canada visa is 50/50 that I should give him little amount of money and if my Visa is denied that the money is not refundable of which I accepted. My question is, Is there any reason he is hiding the decision on my Visa from me? Although the way he is speaking through cell phone shows that there is know hope right now as there have been many Visa denial this days... What could be the problem of my vasa?

Please people that are familiar with such experience should help me out

If u used an agent and u don't HV access to ur portal, pls go meet ur agent. But if u hv access to ur portal, send webform or email.

Pls if u used an agent, tell him to open ur application in your presence. November people has started getting decision and u r still talking Abt September. I don't knw what's with agents hoarding decision information from clients.

Something struck my attention here while reading through.

The last time I did biometric was 2015 when I was refused study permit visa on financial ground and travel history.

A. Here is my first question!
I am about to apply for Canada visit visa and my passport has 4 years validity, I also did biometric last, 9 years ago, does it mean that visa can only be approved for max 1 year of my biometric validity or 4 years of my passport validity??

Pls gurus in the house, I need your enlightenment on this.

God knows I hate anything fake I have my own account and my business account which is very active till now but what I can remember is on November 2023 which I always disturbed him that how far about my application I really wanted to travel before 2023 end he called me around November that Italy is going on now if I’m interested I should go and print my statement of account and I had about 10m in my account so I think that where he got me. Still hope for the best sha someone already said here earlier that I should wait till May/june

Ur application was refused and he applied again for u in dec, there's nothing like updated to 2nd dec
So be expecting feedback from may/June from the lastest timeline.

Yes my application summited on the 8th of July and biometric is on 17th of July 2023 , he said my application was updated on the 2second of December as application received since then no update from him but his giving me assures that Even if it comes worse he will let me know but I’m speechless since 9 months 🤦🏻‍♂️

They don't acknowledge emails that is not attached to an application.
U must use d email used in ur application to send any correspondence

Biometrics submitted for a visa application for a country can be used only for that country.

Let's say you are applying for visas to Canada and France (Schengen). This will require you to provide two biometrics at the VFS location, one for France and the other for Canada.

The VFS cannot transfer the biometrics you used for the France visa application to Canada for your Canadian visa application.
 
I believe your friend is trying to tell you that you can give biometrics for a Canada visa at any Canada visa application center (VAC or VFS) worldwide, regardless of where or which country the application is or was submitted.

For example, you can submit your Canada visa application here in Nigeria but do your biometrics at any Canada VFS application center worldwide.

U r not creating another acc to track ur application. U r simply creating acc in d tracking app.
If u have access to d mail u used in ur application,u can easily create an acc in d tracker. Y u need d mail is cos a code will b sent to d mail for u to create d acc. But if u don't HV access to d mail, it won't work

My major concern is wether it is acceptable to create multiple account to track a single application. That's why I'm being hesitant and skeptic about it.

Moreover, if anything should go south while creating another account, the Agent will definitely put the blame on me.

I really wish to know what is going on with my application.

Had my Biometric on 22/12/23. Which means I might likely get an update between May/June, going by my calculations.

October. March/April.

He said dat so long u hv provided ur biometrics with vfs for Canada, it can be transferable to other countries dat are associated with vfs, like Australia and new Zealand.
I tried to tell him that it's not possible. It got so heated dat I have to run to dis place to seek opinions.

Since u hv access to d mail. Create a tracker to track ur application.
Why would d agent wait till Monday to check ur application. Sth dat doesn't take up to a min to do.

I have not gotten any decision, thats the first mail I'm getting from them after that biometric mail since 23/10/23. today The first mail said a message about your application is waiting for you, the second mail said your application status has changes. So I called the agent to check it up

Pls b4 u reapply, try to get ur gcms notes to identify d actual reasons y u were rejected so u can b able to tackle it in ur nxt application. Thank u

- fill out your required information in the boxes below
(Use your Nigerian address and phone number pls)
- Pick yes to the question about requesting information on your behalf if so
- pick member of the public for the category that best describes you
- Pick electronic copy for how you prefer to receive your notes/records
- click continue
- on the next page, pick privacy act on the 1st drop-down
- select English in the next drop-down
- select case files for the type of records
- fill out all necessary information below(for UCI number, use the format XX-XXXX-XXXX)
- in the comment box write a short intro and your request. Eg:

Check ur portal to see what's going on. Atimes it could be a ghost update or a closure of d application
