Is there anything I can do to get this reset? The Phone is currently in Nigeria but it is locked to the orange network in the UK. I should have sorted this out before I sent the phone over however I was confident that this could be done cheaper and without hassle in Nigeria. I had no ideas BBs were so complicated to unlock. Please help!

Maybe so but can you understand that their hands are tied because of the European Treaty? Banning EU citizens from coming to the UK will open a different can of worms that the government would probably not have to deal with. Fortunately for them banning non EU is less hassle and a more viable option.

Britain is an Island that cannot allow the whole world to live in its lands and operate functionally. As I said Canada is 1000 times bigger than the UK yet the their population is smaller than the UK. People should consider going there if they want to leave Nigeria. . .after all Canada is part of Queen Elizabeth's territory as well, that's if you are one the ones still stuck on 'They came to our shores and used our resources to build their country' tip. Fair enough. . .go to Canada as that is a country that was also developed by the British. Britain is FULL!

Canada is the best option methinks. Britain is an Island and cannot cope with the influx of people. Obviously they have  so choice but to focus on non-eu immigrants because the European treaty they signed some years back forbids them from banning EU citizens. That besides most EU countries are developed and so Brits can easily immigrate there in droves  to benefit from free health care, jobs and basic security and so it probably seen as an equal trade -off. Some Nigerians just don't understand that and cry racism at every opportunity.

Canada is like 1000 times bigger than Britain in land mass, yet has just more than half the population of Britains 60million, a small Island which is struggling trying to look after those already here. Canada with its skeleton population needs people and that is why visa are not hard to come by and Nigerians would be better off going to Canada should they wish to leave their homeland.

The UK is just not prepared to handle this kind of snow. This should be an eye-opener though. A lot of cities in the US (including here in Chicago) get a whole lot more snow than this. And are also much more colder. The difference is that, it's part of every winter here, so we are prepared for it. snow/salt trucks, de-icers, etc.  The trucks are usually already stationed on the highways before it even starts snowing, especially around rush hour. Once it starts they hit it full-force.

That amount of snow/cold will certainly not disrupt anything here!It may delay air and road traffic, but that's about it.

It is just London and not the whole of the UK. London normally doesn't get snow like this but in the northern part of the country where it is colder they're used to coping.

Well if those two entities are disrupted like they were in London won't it have a detrimental effect on the rest of the city with people not being able to get to where they need to be etc?

And why isn't London compared to other UK cities such as Edinburgh, Manchester ect whose airports cope very well with the snow?

So when the same thing happens in London (and I say London and not the UK like all of you are because the airports in Glasgow, Manchester etc were operating alright during the snow.) why do the media mouth of about London being the only developed city in the world which is unable to cope with snow?

Well they do contribute to the economy by bringing in the tourists and tourism is a major industry in the UK.
The British family is not like other royals around the world. They are the most famous in the world as the Queen is not only the Queen of England but also of 32 other independent nations including Canada,New Zealand and Australia etc. The family has played a major role in the history of other countries such as the USA etc.

The only crime I see here is that the guy was young and learning lessons in life. There is absolutely nothing wrong with buying a car in Utah. It sounds like you guys wanted him to depend on you for lifts to get here and there by convincing him not to buy one. Why? Utah ain't like NY or London where one can independently get around without the aid of a car.

Yes he made mistakes by driving without a license and insurance but at least it is a lesson learned now that he is younger and not when he was over 40. In short the guy appears to be a on a learning curve, trusting people i.e. the white man in Georgia. Let him live a learn

I have heard stories of toddlers speaking languages fluently that neither Parents of other family members had any knowledge of. There was also the story of a little boy born in an obscure village in India who kept telling his 'new' mother that he was a shopkeeper Mumbai with a wife and two children. This boy knew his previous name and also the names of his wife and children. To cut a long story short, the boys 'old' family was found in Mumbai and reunited with him. It was quite fascinating watching this young boy of around 7 asking 'his' kids who were now teenagers if they had done their homework and what they had eaten.

I saw it being discussed on an African American board and I was so embarrassed. There was one time I tried to explain to an older relative in Nigeria that the term 'N***' was highly offensive but she just didn't get it. This same relative also happened to be in the UK when a Big Brother contestant was immediately evicted for casually using that word. .  .still she didn't get it.
