A doctor's claim of trauma experience points to a bombing that occurred 300 km away from her medical school in 2005 and you are giving excusesShe claims she was on holiday in London at the time. As I said it is not difficult to get summer placements in UK. Also with a disaster of that kind, if she was indeed working there it would have been all hands on deck to help out so she would have gained 'some' experience. |
Nwando, why did you not reply all the facts I have given you? Cat got your tongue? You chose the last two only....why not the others which tear you to shreds with easily verifiable facts? |
York NHS says this: Volunteering is open to any one who is aged 16 and above. (http://www.yorkhospitals.nhs.uk/index.php?ob=1&id=379) York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust works in partnership with NYBEP (North Yorkshire Business and Education Partnership) to facilitate work experience opportunities for children in years 10 and 11 (http://www.yorkhospitals.nhs.uk/index.php?id=381&ob=1) (Year Ten is an educational year group in schools in many countries including Australia, England, India, Northern Ireland, New Zealand and Wales. It is usually the tenth year of compulsory education and incorporates students aged between fourteen and sixteen - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Year_10) The funny thing is I don't know this girl but I so hate it when people tear others down. She is doing something good and rather than praise her you are busy trying to tear her down and we wonder why Nigeria will not progress. |
Nwando, I went to the same leeds teaching hospital nhs trust you visited and foundthis: Work ExperienceNow, this is just leeds, all NHS trusts have specific requirements. And she was in York or Hull not leeds. so let me check there now. |
Nwando, let me teach you how to verify the truth by tearing apart your claims. 1. As I said before I checked the GMC register online, anyone can do that and her details are there. It clearly states she is registered with a license to practice. You and your doctor friend are both quacks. to register you must have and see the quote below from GMC website: If you are applying for full registration with a licence to practise you will need to prove that you have gained the experience necessary to practise as a fully registered medical practitioner in the UK.this is the link to search for GMC registered doctors (I cannot put the link to her details specifically as it is time limited and will simply take you back to search site): http://webcache.gmc-uk.org/gmclrmp_enu/start.swe?SWECmd=GotoView&_sn=K0P8dzEJEY5pu9RNT4jxwNTQuIMdEA9SYinfwr1pOIVTevIlRuCtxF5AkDgk3tf9B.pZeR.9FtdetvrJRG7-4T3enrVvW-NMcidXgL8nt0WR-CyT1yVQJoaAZFtqRwVa4uI96Y6NIwwNLpDQDaaqOKqr1eoyX7DKQQc4FlkaV.vb27hPqUSDQQ3w1EpoHuVGnn8c7dCx44o_&SWEView=GMC+WEB+Doctor+Search&SRN=&SWEHo=webcache.gmc-uk.org&SWETS=1365514101&SWEApplet=GMC+WEB+Health+Provider+Search+Applet. or go to http://www.gmc-uk.org/doctors/register/LRMP.asp, 1st link there says show me the list, click on it and search. Go there, put her surname in, she is registered as Olamide Orekunrin, no. 7013906. A simple Google search would have shown you the link. 2. According to GMC(who check all these details b4 reg) she gained an MB BS from University of York in 2008. Her course as I saw on the Hull York Medical School website is a 5 year course and entry is granted from age 16. She started at 17. She states when she wrote her final exam she was still 21 which is very likely and by the time graduation rolled around she had turned 22. She would still be regarded as one of the youngest as a lot of times graduation in UK is done several months after exams and even more after final result. I wrote my last paper for MSc at age 23 (finished BSc at 21 in Nigeria), however by the time graduation ceremony rolled around I was 24. So her statement is entirely plausible. Note: she never said I graduated at 21, she said I wrote my final exam at 21 - learn to read and understand. 3. She never said she had a post or political career, she was aspiring to one. In case you are not aware, to aspire means to 'direct one's hopes or ambitions to achieve something'. So she left those hopes behind and instead came here. Again, truth. 4. Working experience. Well from the NHS website, work experience placements begin from Year 10 (equivalent of SS1) and which is from sge 14-16 years. Some roles which they gain experience by participation and observation include: nurses, nurses, healthcare assistants, allied health professionals such as occupational therapists, speech and language therapists and podiatrists, healthcare scientists among others. This is from NHS website oh. So it is very VERY likely that it was not a messenger job (which does not exist in the NHS anyway). NHS employs minors for placements, see the link here that gives them info: http://www.nhscareers.nhs.uk/media/1487492/Work_experience_in_the_NHS.pdf. It's a pdf document. So that person was ill-informed. 5. As for the bombings et al, almost if not all organizations in UK offer summer holiday placements so again very plausible. 6. Her details are also on MIT website for entrepreneurship. MIT would never put up such details without verifying authenticity. So Nwando in future if you don't know, keep quiet and do not display your ignorance. She has not told any lies. Stop doing 'they say' and do your own research and come up with verifiable facts like I have. This is journalism. |
HahahahaErm, I just checked the UK GMC register and she was registered fully on the 5th of August 2009 with a license to practice medicine in UK. I don't know who your NHS source or doctor is but they gave you false information in this regard. |
Pataki: I dare say, a man who knows how to treat woman in sound emotional stability automatically becomes a KING in the woman's eyes. When a woman feels a good vibe from a good man - there is nothing in this world she will not do to make him satisfied. Even to the point of sheer stupidity. A true relationship is about give and take. More importantly, emphasis should be on giving esp. from the man!I agree with a few points but I totally disagree with the bolded. Why do men always have to be the givers? It is 50-50. No 'giving especially from men'. Shey women we are the ones calling for equality? But you still want the man to give more. You can't have it both ways, you can't eat your cake and have it. It is either equality where both parts treat each other well and contribute equally or it is patriarchal where the guy has more responsibility and therefore is more demonstrative. I'm all for equal treatment. He treats me like the queen I am and I move heaven and earth to treat him like the king he is. You see, when a guy treats you like a queen and you reciprocate, a real man out of appreciation will move heaven and earth for you and you will be only too willing to do the same for your man and that give and take continues. You can't expect him to give more than you at some point he will become empty. It's like pouring 3/4 cup of water into another cup but the receiving cup only returns half the water, at some point the receiver is full but the giver becomes empty and it should not be that way, both should be full. Nigerian women need to get out of the whole he must do it all and buy all for me, frankly it's irritating and annoying. Become independent, shower him with gifts too, buy him credit once in a while whether he needs it or not, call him up when he's down and talk to him. That way if he messes up you set him straight confidently (but with respect) because you are on equal footing not keeping quiet because he owns you. NO man will let a woman who is financially and emotionally secure go. When men see you do not need to depend on them but still choose to respect and defer to and occasionally depend on them they will respect you even more for that because they know that you are with them by choice, not because of whatever they have but because you want to be there. I know, I speak from experience. I dated my ex while he was without a job and I had one, we broke up due to distance just after he got a job. He asked me back several times. Why? He always said to me that one thing he liked was the fact that when he corrected me on anything, I listened and where necessary I made adjustments. I could easily have called him names but I chose not to, I could have lorded it over him but I didn't, there's no point in any of that. He's got a very good job in aviation in an MNC and if I wanted to we'd be dating but I don't go after people for what they've got but who they are. He's truly a lovely friend but it didn't work out and we remain friends. The only reason I chose not to get back together was because distance was still a factor and I was not about to go through that again. I'm not bragging 'cos trust me I have my 'were' (madness.....who doesn't? ) but I hate it when I hear the guy should do all or most of the giving in a relationship, it Pi**es me the he*l off!@OP as for the issue on ground: I think they need to just be friends. If she is like this now she will not change if they should get married and the worst mistake anyone can make is to get married hoping their partner changes. One love! |
salt 1: You're right. My little show of vanity nearly cost me a good job. Fortunately, I had made a positive impression before that stage of the interview. Of course, i could talk confidently without it but just wanted to show off what I had been taught.Happens to the best of us. Key thing is to learn from our mistakes. Also every situation is different and everyone should take note of the context and apply accordingly. There is no absolute right answer to this question methinks. |
OP. The Bible says something, 'In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall a word be established. If it was just your wife complaining I would have said she needs to let up but it's not. His own wife has also noticed and that tells me there is a serious problem. You need to grow up and act like a man. And you and your friend and quite a few posters on here need to get out of the dark ages, gone are the days of the woman must take what you dish out. There is nothing wrong in having a friendship but there is everything wrong when it is threatening a marriage. Remember what God has joined let no man put asunder. Agreed her threatening with divorce was a stupid move but it tells me that she has likely brought this issue up over and over and you being the hot-headed child rather than take a step back and re-evaluate have stubbornly ignored her concerns. With your present attitude you are just going to go through a multitude of divorces if you don't wise up FAST. Having a meeting is a huge mistake, you do not air laundry in public. Marriage is between you and her no one else. Keep the friendship, reduce the time. Most of my friends tend to be male but I make sure I never spend more time conversing with them than a bf. My bro' in law has people he speaks to extensively. People he's known over 20 odd years but my sis never complains, you know why? He never spends more time with them than her and the second their conversation is over he tells her what was discussed. it's called MATURITY. He never discusses any issues they may have with outsiders. Conclusion, man up and start realizing you are now married not single. Marriage takes 2 to make it work. Explain to her the friendship stays but balance it. And if you are stupid enough to let her go because of stubborn pride over such an inconsequential and easily solved matter, while I hate divorce and detest women cleaning men out, I hope she takes you to the cleaners - only IF you are stupid enough to get a divorce over this. |
salt 1: I came late to this feast, but hope my contribution will help.Salt 1, actually I think you should learn to apply advice with wisdom. Note the bolded, that was your mistake. The lady was right. Don't 'open it' to answer a question I ask you. It's not an open book exam. You should be able to satisfactorily respond to my questions without having to refer to any material. The only time you may open/ turn on the gadget is if you have any question to ask me AFTER my questions and even then you say, 'if you don't mind, I would like to refer to my laptop/ tablet as I have prepared a few questions.' and when I gesture that you may you open it you proceed. Simples. I can't believe you are in senior management if you had to 'open it' to answer questions. The Brit's advice was right, your application of the advice was wrong. |

Call me an Igbo girl, I like the one with the cash machine...lol. |
Paschal007: Stop the straw man argument and beating around the bush. I didn't say they should bomb the entire country just like they're not bombing the entire north. Am just asking why aren't they bombing south? You're yet to give me a reasonable answer. And why the north? Let's face it, most of their interest are not there but the in south(oil). You claim they use religious intolerance, how exactly do you know CIA is behind that since the intolerance has been for a longtime. Was the intolerance on decline? No. You have nothing except unverified theories. If it helps you sleep at night to push the blame to other, fine. What would make a Nigerian blow himself up to kill fellow Nigerian? Sometimes tribesmen too. CIA?If you read my comment in it's entirety I said I did not know whether CIA but I know US is funding certain things. My answer was that they have no excuse to cover up their reason for supporting bombing the south: they have to have a reasonable cover for that, plus they will destroy a lot of the oil which they need plus there is no-one in the south bombing. Remember I said they are funding what is already there. If you read all my comments you will note that I blame no-one, I simply advocate that we are allowing ourselves to be taken advantage of. As for the accusing of ethnicity, read my comment above this one. I commend those working regardless of tribe, I have been naming Lagos but I am not Yoruba talk less of being from there, I don't even live in Lagos so not benefitting anything. And I end my comments on this article here. He who has ears, let him hear |
My final post (I hope) is this. I wear glasses at the moment because my eyesight is not perfect, in fact it is not good. Now getting glasses and contact lens is a risk and choice I made to enable me see better. Risk because I could get infections from Contacts, the contacts can get stuck in my eye or even slide into my eyeball through the side etc, my glasses could be broken and injure me. But having weighed this I've still got them and instead I'm as careful as I can be when wearing them because the benefits for me outweigh the disadvantages. We can sit here and keep hating and distrusting ourselves. We can keep claiming Muslims are fanatics and I cannot work with them or Ijebu are stingy or Igbo people like too much money and so I cannot work with them. Or we can take a risk to trust each other making sure to be careful by instituting safeguards and checks and balances to ensure accountability and transparency. And work together trusting that everyone else will do their part with the C&Bs in place to ensure it and hope for the best. We can begin to build our individual cities and states on our own and leave federal to just oversee. It is a risk but one that with the right guidance will pay off. How did the Greek god Achilles die? His one weakness -his heel -was exposed, his enemy took advantage of it and brought him down by shooting an arrow which pierced the heel. If he had covered his heel he wouldn't have been killed because the arrow would have struck the covering. Don't air your dirty laundry in public. Until we work with our weakness -tribalism excuse- and make it our strength or make an effort to reduce it's effect on us till it is negligible we are still vulnerable. The truth is that all these excuses of religious intolerance and tribalism are just that excuses. US is made up of people from all over, the real owner's of North America are native Indians not the people who occupy it now, yet these people from various tribes (UK, Asia, México etc) are making it work, why can't we? We need to drop the excuses so they have nothing to feed on and we need to work TOGETHER, until we work together, I'm sorry but Nigeria will not progress. Remember OUR motto? First: 'UNITY and FAITH' and when these are there then we will have 'PEACE and PROGRESS'. Until we remember this and work towards Unity and Faith in God and in one another to do the job, anything we do will be a waste of time. |
dare2think: I politely disagree. There was fighting and ethnic in-fighting before the advent of bh.No, sorry, I meant remove BH and remove the fighting you allude to. Sorry for miscommunication. |
babaowo: have said it manytimes that the only enemy we have is westerner, but there is many fools on nairaland who doesn't know how they operate, but Nigeria will defeat them with prayers of the holy ones in Jesus....Amen!!!My dear no be prayer oh, Na action. It is finished on the cross of Calvary, we need to act on it now. No one is saying it will be easy but it will be worth it. But honestly it's going to take someone with b**ls of steel ('scuse the language) to instigate any sort of progress. |
dare2think: I like your analogies.Exactly, love. Exactly. We already hate ourselves. Again, if a car has no fuel it stops moving. As long as they can fuel our mutual dislike and hatred with BH under guise of continued religious intolerance, that distrust continues. Remove BH, and *remove inter-ethnic fighting, I have no reason to hate another tribes person, the distrust stops and progress begins because we begin to work together in unity. |
Paschal007: Like we don't have all that already? Like you said there's already religious intolerance in that region. Isn't it possible they upgraded their activities without the CIA? And since according to you they love wrecking havoc, what's there for to lose if those bombs start going off in the south? Why is not yet?If it goes off in the south, you can't really claim religious intolerance because there is none in that region. So who is behind it then? If you bomb an entire country it is obvious that it is an outside attempt. I don't know whether CIA helped or not, but I know that US is funding to an extent. If I come to slap you and I stand in front, won't you stop me? But if I sneak up behind, you won't see it coming. What is there to lose? Have you heard the saying that a cornered rat always fights back? Start bombing the whole of Nigeria, the whole of Nigeria fights back and when a people are united nothing can stop them. We need to start trusting ourselves and working together if we are going to move forward. |
Frostyzone: All these....Lol! Theory denotes unproven thinking. Much of what I say or pose, is proven, my friends will tell you that before I believe anything you tell me I do extensive research. In fact anywhere I am if someone asks a question, they point to me and say oya research...lol. People don't forward messages etc to me because I will research and if false. Will reply you will evidence. For this case, look at Julius Assuage and Bradley Manning do you think that even if I could get documented evidence I would provide it on such a public forum as this? |
Frostyzone: And what proof do you have that CIA is exploiting Nigeria apart from this crappy and ridiculous article.I agree wholeheartedly, we are the harbingers of our destruction. And no, not CIA, America is exploiting. Nobody is blaming, understand me. We are realizing that we need to reduce outside interference for Nigeria to be successful (for you to pick up a radio station clearly you have to reduce and eliminate outside interference). When we do, we will be more focused and united and can work together for our OWN good. Right now everyone wants the good of Igbo or Hausa or Erik or Idoma or Yoruba very few are interested in the good of Nigeria. As you said yes stop blaming and stop interference. To borrow fro your illustration, if I stop blaming you for cooking bad soup but leave you in my kitchen while I cook who says the next batch of soup won't go bad? But whether or not I blame you, if I kick you out of my kitchen (I don't joke with my kitchen in real life lol), I can manage every aspect better and have a better chance of preparing a good soup. After all as they say too many cooks spoil the broth. |
Paschal007: if they don't want violence why are the bombs going off in the 1st place?Because as long as there are bombs going off, someone has to take the blame, as long as you blame there is distrust, as long as there is distrust, there is disunity and as long as there is disunity, there is no progress. |
A-ZeD:You have just shown your laziness by highlighting what suits you. Why didn't you highlight where I said they are taking advantage of, they are building on. So ultimately it starts from us. I suggest you take reading comprehension lessons before making comments. By the way, you should remember than when you point a finger, three are pointing back at you. And this is where I end my discourse with you. (Answer a fool in his own folly -proverbs) |
scipher: action speaks louder than words, so where do we start? We start by Uniting, forging a country where each state has power and reports to the FG. Like Lagos is building itself, every other state unites and builds itself and minds it's own Business then when we as a country are targeted we unite. Until we unite, we ain't going nowhere...please feel free to quote me anywhere on this. Why can't learn from good? Lagos has united as a state, is it not moving forward? Why can't every other state, unite first as a state and move forward as a state, after all charity begins at home. When states begin to move forward, the country begins to move forward. |
Frostyzone: Conspiracy theorist on the warpath. My dear, I am as far from a conspiracy theorist as it gets and I'm not just intolerant I am allergic to BS. But I can also see the bigger picture to an extent and can see when me and my people's weaknesses are being exploited for another's gain and I do not like it ONE BIT. |
A-ZeD:Because all these countries are United. They did not unite them so cannot divide them. They trust themselves in these countries not forced to trust. We are not blaming outsiders, we are simply pointing out the fact that outsiders are taking advantage of us and we are doing nothing. Until Nigerians wake up and realize that these people are internationally funded and start to work together we are going nowhere. All they are doing is building and increasing our mutual distrust of each other as Nigerians. By the way a Brazil in order and a Nigeria in order, who do you think poses more of a threat? A house divided against itself cannot stand...this my friends is what the US is counting on and funding. |
Paschal007: Ok if CIA is involved with BH, why is the bombs going off in the north alone? Surely they are well sophisticated to carry out their activities in other parts of the county, no? Somebody answer abegi...If it goes off in the south or east, you can't claim it's religious intolerance because the people in those areas live in peace. So they have no excuse and their plans will be foiled. Their methods are underhand. If you see my hand coming to slap you, won't you stop it? Same, if it goes off everywhere people will realize it's funded very quickly and it will destroy their long-term plans. |
dare2think: Ok Ms Angyee.Hi dare2think, Nigeria's lapses are responsible in part for the growth because we allow an environment for them to thrive. However, if they were not funded they would soon die out. The destructive ideology stems from the what God put on Ishmael saying he would forever be in enmity with his brother's. The CIA is not responsible for the ideology however they are making use of it for their own gain. Nigeria's lapses are also caused by the forced union without proper considerations in place like US and without the CONSENT of the people thus causing distrust and mutual dislike. So again, my sentences (lol) You (US) own a school (CIA, Senate, etc). You see another school owner(Nigeria) which can oust you however the head teacher (President), teachers (Guvs, Senators) and students (Citizens) hate each others guts thereby causing distrust and lack of progress because whatever progress the HT makes, the Teachers and or students scupper (sabotage) and vice versa for all because of lots of distrust and disunity thus that school owner's school is not effective because no-one works together. Now how to keep this school this way so that yours remains the only viable school? You discover that if you pay some students (terrorists) they can plant false flags and evidence (bombs, religious extremism) to implicate any of the HT, teachers or students, thus furthering the disunity. This way you constantly remain head honcho. Note the students come from the same school, you didn't manifest it, you simply discovered you had willing bodies (i.e. destructive ideology) and exploited it. Hope I answered your question. |
Frostyzone: The absurdity of the topic is so ridiculous that I didn't even bother to read the too-long post.It is mentality like yours that is making their work easy (I don't mean this in a derogatory or abusive way so please don't be offended. I mean it in the sense that our short sightedness as Nigerians has left us open to exploitation). Let me use a simple sentence to explain what he is saying. I (US) am using you, my employee (Terrorists) to do whatever work I need done so I gain more profit and become the most powerful Multi-National Corporation(country) in the world. I didn't create you, I didn't give you the idea to study in your chosen field when you 1st started studying, all I'm doing is using you, your knowledge and your skills for my gain. My gain is not necessarily your gain, only when you begin to think like me will you see my exploitation. That's why they are called conspiracy theories to reduce credence and make people doubt them especially when they are the truth. Also, haven't you noticed that Everything Nigeria does is copied from America? Clothing, fashion, even useless reality shows? As long as we depend on them, we don't depend on God and that is their power. Why is the American motto 'In God we trust'? When you depend on someone you don't pose a threat to the person. Same thing. As long as we depend on them, we are not a threat to them. |
Saintp: I dont know why Nigerians dont like facing reality. Always looking for where to put blames instaed of comfronting their problems head on. They say its CPC, its ACN, its PDP, its Buhari now its CIA.Exactly. But you've missed the point. Our problem is us -Nigerians, our mentality. We don't look at the long term. Imagine if we sat down to realize what we as Nigerians could generate, and Muslims saw that they are being used and everyone unites to stop this. Even the Bible says when Man united to build the tower of Babel even God could not stop them what did he do? He DIVIDED them. That's all the US have done to Africa and now to Nigeria. Ok, why is it UNITED states of America because when people are united NOTHING can stop them. Why is Saudi Arabia succeeding if we are looking at it as the muslim's fault? After all Saudi Arabians are Muslim too. Here is the Key: they are United. It is predominantly Muslim and they have stuck to that but they are United. Why are UNITED STATES OF America and UNITED Kingdom considered the world powers? Look at the power UNITED Arab Emirates has. Surprised? I don't think it's a coincidence that the countries with the name UNITED are the world powers. Do you know Scotland has been trying to leave UK and UK is refusing? Why they know that they second their unity is threatened so is their power, they know it - From experience. Why don't we do a United States of Nigeria? Every state has sovereignty and reports to a federal government like US? What's shopping that? We dom't have to separate to live in peace, we can compromise like America and UK did. |
Some of the comments on here are proof of why the US is succeeding in it's agenda. Some people have asked, what is in it for the US? This is why the US and other countries in the west succeed. 2 problems that beset Nigerians are lack of discipline and short-sightedness. With Nigerians it must be now now, immediately, we lack planning capability. The US doesn't look for immediate gain, they interested in long term long lasting gain. That's why we can't see what is in it for US. Let me show you with few examples just what they are gaining and still stand to gain. 1. A Nigerian has a farm in an African country that is completely self sustainable. He powers his electricity, he makes his own fertilizer etc, not a single thing goes to waste there. No, this is not them say, I know someone who visited there and saw it with their eyes (will not say relationship to person b4 CIA goes to terrorize person...lol). Why is he not in Nigeria? Well he offered Nigeria 1st, they refused, their problem? What is on it for me NOW. So he left and this country, don't remember name gave him land, in return he trains a certain no. Of their citizens free of charge every year. Do you know how many jobs he has created a d how much money he is saving this country? 2. Remember Groundnut pyramids of yester-year? 3. A Nigerian in US offered to set up a factory in Nigeria all he asked for was land...he would fund everything else from his pocket. Again, Nigeria refused, why? They wanted him to grease their pockets first. 4. Think of all the natural resources we have, imagine if we had mining corporations handling these. Look at all of these, for starters, think of how many jobs and how much income would be generated if we created at least one of these in every state in Nigeria. Now imagine how much wealthier we would become. Now imagine the power Nigeria would wield. That's not all oh. I know someone who works in oil industry in UK, he said roughly half of Nigeria's oil is unaccounted for(not exaggerated, it is documented). By half, I mean half after all the oil spills e.t.c. They know, it's not hidden. wanna know why? Because the so-called 'unaccounted' oil goes to people like George Bush, Tony Blair, Bill Clinton and generally helps further the US, no lie. Also US has oil, some of it is not mined yet. Why? You see they want to drain every other country in the world of their oil and when they are done they will be the sole producer of oil thereby giving them a modicum of control. How? Yes it's true 1st world countries are gradually moving to using clean energy sources electricity etc, but 3rd world still has a way to go. Imagine all 3rd world countries drained of oil, they need oil, they have to buy from the only country that has any US, US don't need to worry about dwindling supply of oil because they would have moved to using other sources of energy. Do you see any gain yet? Also the so-called Libyan uprising. When it first started, I was sceptical of Ghaddafi's claims if western intrusion. Now I'm a believer. The west instigated it. Yes, Ghadaffi was a dictator, but he is the kind of person I would not mind having in my corner, because he stuck to his ideals to the death. Do you know how Ghadaffi protected Libya from western exploitation? Every resource was used to help Libya, do you also know the 1st deal the new Libyan authorities dined with US? Access to Libyan oil wells, Ghadaffi had refused vehemently to allow it while he was alive and that was cramping the US style. Same with Iraq, Saddam wouldn't let the US have his oil so they killed him. See a pattern here? Nigerian rulers seem to have decided to roll over and bark like good doggies rather than stand up and maybe face death well except MKO. Till today no weapons of mass destruction have been found in Iraq...I'm not surprised. Even Americans will tell you a lot of things that happen are scripted by their government. See they don't have to set up these organizations, they just fund them and the by-product of the activities of these organizations help them work undercover towards their goals. The Bible says that God told Ishmael he would be in constant enmity with his brother's, hence the reason Muslims are always prepared to fight, US is simply taking advantage of that. Just stop for a second, imagine all the people fighting in different areas of Nigeria come together as one. To fight outsiders, who will stand, with the massive population Nigeria has? Feed, clothe and train just a quarter of Nigeria's population to be an Army even America will not be able to stand, because from time immemorial African's and Nigerians have been stronger. Do you know that half of the innovations the west comes up with are discovered or engineered by African's mainly Nigerians? Have a look see for yourself. So what do they stand to gain? Imagine a country with all our resources with all the jobs created I mentioned above, proper infrastructure created from resources gained, all our brightest return from abroad and all the inventions US are getting from them they start designing for Nigeria, our manpower trained even more effectively than US, stronger and larger army because we have a bigger population...tell me what country can withstand this? As long as Nigeria is divided we will never accomplish any of this, this is the US ultimate gain. They are fundng our continued division, Nigeria wake up before it's too late. |
Also this verse refers specifically to Christians as I said. If one does not accept Christ then the concept of sin or not does not apply to them, they are heading to hell straight (sorry, but it's true). If you don't accept Christ, you have not 'sinned' per say because you are under the law not under God, so any sin (An immoral act considered to be a transgression against divine law.) committed is not against God but against the laws of the land also known as a crime. But once you accept Christ, you are under grace and under God's laws (Love the Lord your God...and ...your neighbour as yourself...). And this is where Sin comes into place because sin is not just about immoral acts but specifically one that contravenes the laws of God. look at it this way, Accepting Christ is accepting a gift. If you are trying to drill a hole and you use a hammer to break in, that may not be right but if you don't have a drill it is not necessarily wrong. However, if I give you a gift of an electric drill and you persist in using a hammer then you are wrong because you now how have the means to do things right but are still doing it the wrong way. This is Sin, knowing what is right but still doing wrong. (That's why I don't consider not accepting Christ to be sin because at that time the person does not know about Jesus and has not gotten a full understanding of the gospel.) This is a somewhat simplistic example but I hope it serves to explain what I'm trying to get across. God bless. |
) but I hate it when I hear the guy should do all or most of the giving in a relationship, it Pi**es me the he*l off!
