Not to cause any bad energy here. I saw this screenshot uploaded by someone here, so I decided to follow it up and dig it to the source. I got curious about the post, taking into consideration how nnpc has been silent about the recruitment since the interview stage, so I tried to dig up the post and verify it's actually from nnpc official Twitter account and I discovered it has been removed. I think this should raise some concerns and reason for sharing here. I used to follow this page in the past being an applicant who didn't scale past the CBT stage.

This link leads to a Google search engine result page. A preview of the tweets can be seen on a site named trendsmap ranking on the second position of the page. Clicking the links reveals that the tweet has been deleted.

If you check this with all emails you've received from them you'll know. There is a consistency across board in all their emails. Some tiny details..... I immediately thought it was photoshopped. In fact when I'm bored maybe I'll do a very good one and show them how it's done

It might be true, but I want to think that after GMD making such a statement about concluding soon, if it was out I would think that NNPC would want to announce it even if on Twitter that the process has been concluded and successful candidates contacted. I stand to be corrected sha.

Actually, it was used during the CBT and interview, albeit, they collected the one given to us for the CBT. I still have my red wristband from CBT and the pass from the interview.

I guess it varies then. At my CBT centre they only used wristband which was collected after. And this pass was used at Towers for interview and collected before we entered amphitheater.

Again the pass states FCT but your previous statement here has it that you wrote your CBT at Ikorodu.

Like Oluwagbemisolaa said below, it was used during interview not CBT but was indeed collected before entering the amphitheater (at least on the day I was interviewed). CBT used coloured armbands that were cut off...at least at my centre.

I was amongst the last persons to register if not the last before the portal was closed (26th march, 11:16 pm) and my number is around 200,000+

There is no way 300,00+ people registered after me in the space of 44minuites before the portal was closed to amount to your number of 600,000+. You certainly did not register after me. So there seem to be random allocations of numbers.

My point is, the highest propelled number does not reflect the amount who registered.. It could be the said 250k, more, or even less.

I agree, numbers are probably not sequential cos as I submitted portal closed and my number is 800,000+

Generally the civil service does not recognize in view qualification, at least those I know of. You either have it or you don't. At the end of the day it's in God's hands as Starwisben said. Just hope your undergrad qualification and interview performance were good.

Is it possible to receive an email for online assessment for a job application you didn't complete and submitted?

I started the Access Bank online application days back but stopped mid way and didn't make a final completion submission only to receive their email yesterday and another today inviting me to complete the same online assessment.

The emails are looking fishy and I have decided to not take the test yet.

What do you guys think about this please?

Maybe call them directly and confirm. Don't know how you'd get that unless you mistakenly submitted without knowing or something...

She had hers 2nd July, a day before me. As for screenshot don't know if she'll oblige but have no reason to doubt her. I had asked her on Sunday if she'd gotten it and she said no, then last night around 10 she sends a message saying she'd finally gotten it, 3k, she's based in Abuja. She's not on any of these forums, I'm the one who feeds her info.

Please I've got a little apprehension. I was only able to upload my essays at the nick of time, after which the portal closed!
However, I do not know if my essays were submitted or not. No acknowledgement emails, and in fact no icon on my page to indicate that I submitted successfully. I only saw the essays and CV as pdf files on the page after reaching the point of 'essay summary'. Please, is this how it was for everyone?

Thanks Angyee..I guess I overestimated functionality of the portal...lessons learnt. I tried to reach-out to the helpdesk to see if anything could be done but...they said the submission cldnt be reversed even though the portal had not closed.

Fingers crossed...if they buy my story..getting another chance to provide referee details shldnt be a challenge

Please I have a question:

The third page of the CV Template requires that you enter details of your referees (2 Professional and 2 Academic). Are they to also submit reference letters on your behalf before midnight of 22nd October OR will this be at a later stage.

Good question ...No instruction on whether or not to upload a third page for reference alongside CV or modalities for collecting reference from referees

The instruction was to send in maximum 2-page CV which I did. Given that the email instruction states that reference details should be provided on the portal. I assumed there will be a separate upload for the Reference Form. I have now submitted my essay and resume and unable to find an upload link to provide reference details.

With such applications, they usually request the reference by themselves directly from the individuals.
The CV itself must be 2 pages, but since they put the references page in the document, I left it there and filled it in and submitted. SO the CV section itself is 2 pages, the references 1 page. I think they didn't want people to have 3/4 pages in the CV section of the document that's all.

Please send CVs with samples of your work to careers@orbra.net on or before Saturday 18th June, 2016.

1. BEFORE you do anything. Take a step back, clear your mind and assess everything and make absolutely certain that this is where you want to go.
2. Don't ever speak a bad word about her, even if she is the devil incarnate in female form.
3. Take a break, even if just a weekend, after it all just to relax and clear your head and shut that chapter.
4. It will hurt, but over time you will heal. Please do not let this experience colour your view of women, it should make you more discerning but not more distrusting.
5. Be ready for the insults, pitying looks, whether her family who may not understand, or friends etc.
6. Definitely visit the parents WITH someone preferably immediate family who was there for introduction.

Hi, I am looking for an animated clip I saw a while ago. It's of an igbo man overseas experiencing the cold weather for the first time. He's saying 'Oyi oh, oyi atugbuolam nu oh, obu otu ah ka oyi kena n di....' or something to that effect. Does anyone know of it and can anyone link me to it? Thanks.

1. I think one key thing is to use more red pepper (tatashe or sweet red pepper) than tomatoes. This helps to give it a lovely balanced but not overwhelming tomato taste. Also you don't have to cook it for too long because pepper doesn't take too long to cook.
2. The spices I use (when I want to be healthy and avoid msg) are: Rosemary (fresh and dry), Thyme, Basil (or nchianwu/ scent leaf and/or Curry leaves), Coriander, Nutmeg(just a little), Sage, Curry powder, Bay leaves, Salt, Ginger/ Garlic, Oregano.
3. Add the rosemary, thyme, basil (basically any herb you are adding) just as soon as the tomato starts cooking and cook on a medium heat. ( I usually just fry outright). This way the herb has a chance to infuse the food properly and the full essence of the herbs is achieved...this is how Italians cook their tomato 'sauce' (spaghetti, pasta sauce etc) to get it to taste nice. I find that rosemary is an absolute necessity when not using knorr or any msg product. When the tomato is almost done, then add the rest of the spice and allow to simmer until done so the spices are allowed to mix properly and taste well.
