Religion / Re: Pay Your Tithe Or Save A Relative's Life? by Aniomaman(m): 10:04pm On Jun 21, 2008
I wonder why you would rather give tithe than let your fellow man die? So you actually think God will clap for u? Please you christians should quit playing religion and be human for once! Am glad we still have people who have a heart BUT don't claim to be all righteous and quote all the bible passages to back up their inhuman hearts! Geez I can't even believe someone could actually think of doing that!
Education / Re: Covenant University: 3rd Convocation Ceremony by Aniomaman(m): 9:33am On Jun 21, 2008
Nigerians and their negativity. My sister graduated with 2:1 and she deserved every bit of it, any student that goes to CU and does not sit up should go and learn trade because the school has made it possible for them to concentrate on all their is. This is the world wide web and people from all over the world read what we write on here, can nigerians for once just help build their country's image and quit all this slandering. Bad belle no dey pay una, most of the bad image the western world has about us has been fuelled by what nigerians have written and said on so many occassions. Most of these students have worked hard to get to where they are and trust me their First class will take them places, una bad belle no fit stop am!

mellow:

This problem is definitely ours. If you guys like crucify me.

When you are razzling a lady, what do you do? You take

her to exotic places, Snack homes, and even buying her

recharge cards when she did not ask for it with the occasional

flowers. In short, you lavish money on her so that she can succumb

to the relationship. Now that she has succumbed to the relationship, and

she want you to keep up with the status quo, you say she is demanding

meanwhile you lured her into demand and supply by the nature of your wooing.

The truth is if she demand within reason and you can afford it please, by all means

oblige her but if you sincerely can't then let her know your stand. If she doesn't

understand then she can gladly go but if she does do not tell us about it and remember,

love does not count gains and losses.

That is so true, OP u dey deny say no be wetin u do when u toast the babe? grin
Music/Radio / Re: FAZE "Independent" OR 2FACE "Grass 2 Grace" by Aniomaman(m): 1:50pm On May 27, 2007
zigbo:

@chiogo speaking about pidgin what do u think faze sings in, pidgin with a little igbo somtimes nd offcourse english,so he is real too.

on the akon nd faze thing, there is nothing there in akon being his boss, afterall jay-z is rihanna's boss because she's signed under his rec.label, i dnt think u rily understand the record thing well, the rela. between akon and faze is nt the same as that of wyclef nd 2face or benie man is mo like the relationship between 2face and kennis music.

anyway i think faze is way better in everything eg.his voice, his creativity, his dress sense, the way he carries himself in public, he is soulfull and he is a great song writer and composer ets

i cudnt say the same about tuface, because i dnt see it,he jst loud.

Am with you on that one grin

Chi angel:

U guys are so funbny, how come everyone of u get to meet a demanding girl? Or is it a new law in Nigeria 4 girls to b demanding? i blve in independence, am a student n my guy works n evn whn am broke n he wants to send me money i always tease him into not taking it frm him, its still my pblm till am married n my parents still drop cash 4 mi without looking for help. SO wats d big deal? Go get a good girl 4 yourself or simply talk sense into your girl if u think u love her enough to change her!!!

I am Ibo and ave never dated an Ibo gurl until 2 years ago, don't ask my age, lol(she's my wife, come September) and I must say I have been missing out. Ave met other ladies who have been so demanding but I must say my Chi is so HARDWORKING and looking at her sisters as well, it kinda runs in the family so Ibo gurls ain't demanding from what ave learnt. If a lady really loves you then she won't be demanding 'cos she definitely knows what's up. make una stop to dey crucify my ibo chicks oh, they are the best.

Romance / Re: My Fiancee Earns More Than Me And It's Making My Life Miserable by Aniomaman(m): 4:14pm On May 18, 2007
I would be glad if my woman is earning a lot more than she is earning now, so am really surprised that you are insecure your woman is earning a lot more than yourself. I think you need to wake up to the real world, a good woman is hard to find and you even lucky she is still with you when she earns more than yourself. Get a grip and work hard towards earning more than you do at the moment and stop having negative thoughts towards a woman who is sticking with you even when you broke, lol grin

Romance / Re: My Ex-fiancee Has Siezed All My Certificates by Aniomaman(m): 4:27pm On May 13, 2007
Don't forget that in naija police case, the highest bidder wins like in an auction. Remember she is a lady and she will do anything to quash ur claims, as advised earlier, just let it go and order new coppies of those certificates she's taken. Cut every contact wiv her.
Dating And Meet-up Zone / Re: Boyfriend Search 101 by Aniomaman(m): 2:53pm On May 13, 2007
This thread is really getting hilarious, comon no lady wants a broke man these days. Still I guess someone who is headed in teh right direction in terms of his career is certainly more attractive. At least na why my woman choose me, I never get am for motorbike yet sha, before u say another word, am not broke either! grin

I wouldn't wanna be in ur shoes man but what I can advice is this, don't use any kind of force for the lady, she could be dangerous. Am sure you can get re-issues of this certificates anyways so why u fretting? Anyways Goodluck but this is one decision you have to think about before u actually take it. Cheers!

Romance / Re: What's With This Marriage Rings by Aniomaman(m): 2:41pm On May 06, 2007
Am really not comfy with rings and all the blings but I believe when it comes to the wedding rings people have got different perspectives. A man could still wear his ring and go ahead and cheat, some people just don't like wearing 'em and I don't think it has much of a significance 'cos I know some people even wear them when they ain't even married.
Culture / Re: Traditional Marriage Or 'White Wedding'? by Aniomaman(m): 11:34am On May 06, 2007

Events / Re: How To Plan A Good Wedding? by Aniomaman(m): 10:52am On May 06, 2007
My wedding is coming up in september and even though we don't want such a big wedding, N500,000 is definitely no where near our budget. We are having just the traditional but then everyday it just keeps going up. having a wedding in naija now is worth planning long and hard so u get the best, it's something you do once in a lifetime and you want good memories.
Get a wedding planner but those can be expensive, why don't u get your closest family members involved? I know ladies have a thing for planning weddings. My fiancee is in charge of everything basically with my mom, not becos I don't wanna be involved but becos they think I don't know a thing about planning weddings, oh well, what can a broda say grin.
Goodluck and Congrats
Food / Re: My Boyfriend Buys Me Buka Food! by Aniomaman(m): 5:26pm On May 05, 2007
I just couldn't help but grin when i saw some responses to this dilemma, don't know if it's a dilemma anyways. First off I would say you need to sort out your priorities and trust me I would gladly accept some nice iya basira food, lol. Maybe the guy no get money for tantalisers and you wey dey work, I guess u should pop into the posh restaurant or chinese place on ur way to his house and maybe get you both something to eat. Who no like better thing and maybe you could try buying him something as well, trust me na with shame him go take run go store get you nice gift. Relationships be give and take, not give, give and give
