After normal security check and payment, my number was called to submit documents. like 10 minutes later, window 16 called us again for interview. after taking oath and finger print.
CO: Good morning

CO: These are your documents, (he gave me the original documents and all the passport photograph sent to KCC back)
CO: what is your highest qualification and what did you study?
ME: Bla bla bla
Co: These are your twins and your wife?
Me: Yes
CO: where are you working and how long?
Me: Bla Bla Bla
CO: Go to this address I circle on this white paper next week and collect your visa.



CO: Second sheet is the step on how to pay USAC....

me and my wife had our interview today 17th july 2013.this is our interview experience
We arrive at the US embassy Lagos @ 5:10am.we approach the security man about our interview of 7am.we were told to wait under the tree till around 6.00am when they will come around to address us.The mopol at the embassy start the security check of their own by 6:10am. after a thorough security check at various stages.we were led into the interview hall.we enter the interview hall me and my wife by 7:16am.after sitting for like 10 minutes we were ask to pay the visa fee of $330 each of which amount to #109,000.00.we paid and collect our receipt.we were ask to sit down so that they can collect our documents.do you know that we were not called so that our document could be collected.we waited for almost 4 hrs our document was not collected even people b4 us and after us has been interviewed.we were like what is happening.we approach the security man in the hall to complain to him, he was not friendly in his answer he only say they will call us.when he got to a point i have to tell my wife been the principal applicant to approach the lady collecting the document of others on window 17 to complain.she was so surprised that our document has not been collected.she ask us if we drop our appointment letter at security check.we said no.she now said that was why our number has not been called.she collect the appointment letter from my wife and ask her to sit down.after about 5min she called us to come and submit our document which we did.after about 5 min again we were called for the interview proper at window 14.EVERYBODY LOOK LOOK SEE WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE........ .our interview goes thus

CO:am going to approve your visa.he just gave us the paper to collect it and the information on how we pay our green card fee of $165
my people of nairaland this is how we pack our document run commot for in front before he change in mind.our album full of our pictures starting from our courtship days till date we did not even open it.

lonpy lonpa: I will start by saying that who so ever do not believe in GOD will not have an everlasting life because he is the ALPHA and the OMEGA. I want to share my interview experience with you guys because today I had a succesful interview.I got at the embassy in yaounde at 6:30am with my sister and her husband by my side i had that confidence that everything will be ok. At about 8:30am after all security checks, i realised that i have only one photocopy for each of my documents meanwhile they needed by two photocopies for each document. So after paying for the embassy fee of 174000fcfa, i took permission and when to do the other photocopies. At about 10:00am, I was called at window 2 for documents checks. after verifying if all my documents were ok, i was asked to sit and wait for my intetrview. At 11:15am, my nber beeped at window 6 and the interview goes thus:

me: i am fine; and you?
co:fine thank you
co:could you raise your right hand up and take oath?
me: sure
co: when did you suceed in your bacc exam?
me: 2010
co: where do u entend to live in the us?
me: blablablaaaaaaaaaa

me: I want to further my studies and contribute my own quota to the us economy and also to be a member of the AAA

That was how it all went. I want to thank everybody on this forum for the support and ideas and also I want to wish goodluck to everybody who is still awaiting his or her interview. God who started it for us will surely complete it in the name of Jesus.

edojariogba: First of all i want to say a very big thank you to our God jehovah for making everything possible as planned.
i left ikeja early as 4:30am with the taxi i chattered for 3k and finally got to the embassy by 5:30am after getting lost on the way. There was crowd of people already waiting
Later by 6:00am the secruity man ask us to form a line and thier security check started we were ask to sumit our 2nl and a blue tag and a slip to enter your contact information and another slip for payment was given to us then we were checked again and again before we went into the hall. At the entrance we were given another number to go and pay the visa fee.after paying we sat down and wait for our documents to be collected.later my number was called at window 21 to submit my documents.i submitted police report,medical,school certificates and npc. No affidavit was collected. Then interview started at window 13 for non immigrants and 2 white co at 14 and 15 for immigrants window 14 was a gentle guy given visa like water but he regected a guy with only 3 credits in waec. Window 15 is a bastard detective he drills people alot given visa to very few people. I was sitting at the front sit.15 disqualified a boy who applied with different passport of another person the co printed the passport out for him to see and the guy was now saying that he
was when he took the passport. But rily the passport was not same person.this is a lesson for those people who use to go to agent. Also if you ar married pls go along with very many evidence cos some of those co head dey shake. While waiting, i was praying that my number should not flash in window 15 cos the guy too dey take person time.finally by 11:00am behold my number flash at window 14 and i walked up to the him. I was so damn confident because i have been in the front sit facing his window and have been hearing all his conversations. Trust me i get sharp ears. I already know how my interview is going to go. I already knw that there is no olevel question and just what u filled in the form was what he has been asking people. The interview went like this.

After the check in, i paid my 54,500, i was called @ window 17 to submit my document. I note something, whn submitting your document its wat they ask U to bring u shld submit, i try giving her my testimonial n my work appointment letter cos am using GCE.. Bt the lady didn't collect them.. She said only my GCE and birth certificate both original n fotocopy with m medical, police character...
Interview go dis way!

magicmase: Greetings to everyone, had a successful interview yesterday, less than 5 minutes. The co only asked where I schooled, served and where I'm working. Still speechless...
Here's my advice to everyone getting ready.
1. No phones, earphones, flashdrives, metal objects except keys, liquids (mothers with babies maybe allowed...emphasis on Maybe), powders & cameras allowed, once you have been checked around 5:45 & are being told to que, leave them with an officer outside, if you are found with any of these inside during checks you will be sent out to drop them & start he que from the beginning...this happened to me twice, wasting time as my tag was eventualy 431 instead of 408 or something.
2. Carry all originals of required documents not just photocopies, for me these were, ssce from waec, ssce from school, testimonial from school, uninversity & nysc if you have completed those, dont forget original, police report, npc birth cert, int. passport, medicals (xray not needed) and your 2nd letter for interview. Passport size is 2x2 inch dv size on a white or grey background, get it right pls
because its #2,000 outside the embassy.
3. If you didnt fill in a us address when filling your forms & just got one, write the hosts name, address, zip code & telephone no, neatly on a piece of paper, i recommend you type & print.
4. Visa fee is #54,500, but carry extra just in case.
5, No need for fancy suit dressing, a nice shirt & trousers is fine, if your a family, u can all just wear matching clothes like asoebi, not a must tho.
6. Eat something before coming oh, once you enter the final interview room, I don't think you can come out without a special pass.
7. Relax, the cos are really nice, unless you're lying...& yes they can read your mind. But seriously I saw an elderly lady who couldn't speak english & had to interviewed with an interpreter get issued a visa...so start smiling, unless you are a fake married couple.
8. Almost forgot, when you get your tag, watchout for your tag number to be displayed to drop your documents, sometimes your name will be called instead so stay sharp. Also keep your payment reciept safe cause the co will ask for it.
