Goodevening mummies in the house! I have an activity walker and a Car seat for sale. The walker is New, I got it last week to encourage dd to walk... and she rejected it and started walking on her own the next day. The Car seat is still very new. She has outgrown rear facing one. Both go for 20k. WhatsApp 0.70.3.5.9.1.8.6.7.2

Wow. Thank You so much ma.
sassysure:

Stop buying please.
Vagina is a very sensitive area for an adult not to talk of new born. Go and run a test first.

It might actually be diaper allergy.

I'm allergic to menstrual pads.( funny, right? grin).
I use good old toilet roll.

My vg used to have very angry face like that and I will scratch till blood comes out. Used to think it was toilet infection. Mumsy beat the he'll out of me that I had known boys at a very young age. So hospital solved the mystery for us then cos we were all confused
It's over 15yrs now. Problem stopped as I stopped using pads cheesy

So it might be diaper and I will prefer it to be diaper allergy than any other thing.
Cool ur mind.
It will be okay

Thank you. I have duly informed them.

19CannyMum:

Please beg the creche people to take all the precautions you're taking like changing diaper often and using barrier cream. Otherwise you'll be doing one step forward two steps backwards.

It's looking like a yeast rash (according to this article https://www.healthline.com/health/parenting/yeast-diaper-rash), in which case that powder the mama here recommended could be appropriate as it's an antifungal.

You can also try cloth diapers already in case it's diaper allergy as suggested by another mama here.

Awww... This looks very painful. I just finished treating this for my DD last week. She was reacting to her new cereal, wheat. She first had this when she was 6/7 months, when I introduced soyabean and wheat to her. I stopped it after two weeks and used Sudocrem. It dried the area and it healed very fast. Fast forward to three weeks ago,her daddy bought another wheat n honey cereal. I thought it was safe for her cuz I was sure soyabean was the only culprit. Alas, my small madam broke out in this. The blisters were even bleeding. I stopped the cereal immediately and aired her bum for hours. I used sudocrem just like the first time and she is healed again. Check your baby's diet. She might be reacting to something like mine did. My two cents. wink

Wow! I never thought of this! I'll really check out her diet. She takes only pap, buy I added Tom Brown some months ago. I'll stop it for now and see how it goes.
Thanks momma.

Thank you momma.
sassysure:

She will be ok.

Insist on the swab test. Thats the only way to know what the problem is

Our hospitals are very at guess work.

U bring a child to hospital and they will start doing guess work with your child.
How can you give antibiotics without tests?
Where I stay, all antibiotics are strictly under prescription.
U will never get them over the counter and without dr's prescription, none for you.
All the best.

Do urine test too.
Infact, a good Dr knows what to look out for
Health / Re: NEW BORN BABIES! Are U A New Mum? Then Lets Discuss Babies Here!!!!! by Anniebamba1(f): 7:51pm On Jun 20, 2019
Thanks momma. I changed her diaper from molfix to pampers. I change her diapers as soon as I notice it's wet. I'll start airing her bum at night, hopefully she doesn't scratch.
zaynie:

Baby might be reacting to diapers.
-Change her diapers.
- do your diaper change more often.
-upgrade to adult tribotan, it works faster but you need to reduce the number of days.
-air her bum at night when she's asleep.

I can imagine her pain embarassed

Thanks momma. I'll look for the powder tomorrow.
FloraEC:

Calm down mummy, it'll be fine. Same happened to my daughter when she was 6m but in her bum bum area, very reddish and peeled, the cause was excess pooing/vomiting.
We were given clotrimazole dusting powder(no is not pepperish like normal dusting powder cos I've used it), was told to air her bumbum(cleaning off mess and always removing her hands so she won't scratch it which is the main work), change the diaper products and always change her diaper.
kiss kiss kiss to her, she'll be fine.

Thank you ma. She's 8 months old. I've been to the hospital twice and was given antibiotics, but they didn't do a swab test. I'll go again tomorrow and request for one.
sassysure:
This is a serious infection.

How old is she?

Pls, no diapers or pant.

So sorry for her.

The rashes look red and swollen with angry face.

Can you take her for swab test?

They will use cotton wool and clean up the place then test it.

Thats the only way u may know what this is.

Feel for u 2.

Thanks momma.
Giddyperson:

So sorry, at this point id try to avoid diapers totally until it heals, maybe try pants instead. Go easy on the products you've already tried so much, maybe try the powder that someone recommended, that should keep her comfortable.
Health / Re: NEW BORN BABIES! Are U A New Mum? Then Lets Discuss Babies Here!!!!! by Anniebamba1(f): 7:38pm On Jun 20, 2019
Thanks momma. I have stopped applying any form of medication for a while now since they were causing her blisters. I'll try with the diapers at home because she goes to creche and has to be on diapers. The doctor already gave her antibiotics and anti allergic drugs, they did nothi g for her. I'll try all you have said.
Thank you
NIFES:

As someone already suggested, let them run a test to rule out any form of infection and once that is confirmed;

Please stop applying medications as the skin in the area looks too sensitive as it is,
Do away with any form of diaper for now and get her loose pants that you change at each peeing/pooing,
Always wash the area with lukewarm water only without any soap and gently pat-dry the bum after each wash,
No use of sponge in the area for now,
If redness gets too much, lightly apply blue seal Vaseline (not too often though),

In short, let the area breathe

But if lab test confirms infection, then oral antibiotics may be required alongside the above routine.

All the best.

mamatwiny:

Chai. I can feel your pains.
I can relate cos it happened to my baby on the folds of his thighs. He also did scratch till blood came out if you try to air his bombom.

No 1- Be sure she is wearing the right size of pampers and it is not too tight.

We made sure to add a small detol ( even if it is that ghana dettol sold for N200) during his bath, also changed his soap to tetmosol baby or any antiseptic baby soap. we also rubbed baby tribotan at each nappy change and also removed the pampers as at when due. At a time, I was scared that I was abusing the tribotan as we had used more than 3 tubes. You can also give her vit c to boost her immunity and aid the healing process.

thanks momma, she wears a size 4. I changed from molfix to papers when I thought diaper was the cause. I already use savlon for her bath water.

I need HELP!. If I try to air her bum, she scratches it till it bleeds and it breaks my heart to see her like that. Please mommas help me! cry cry

Yes o... I have tried. She seems to take it but as soon as she solid enters her mouth, she spits it out.
I'll keep trying sha, cos she seems to like beans

Giddyperson:

As long as the food can go in a bottle, let her be, saves more time and she gets to eat more. Have you tried giving her rice or other solids with spoon

Good afternoon mummies in the house. Please o I need help! How do you wean your baby from bottles? My DD hates spoons(Except as a toy). She throws a tantrum whenever I try to feed her with a spoon and sometimes even throws up.
But give her bottle and she will finish 200ml of thick pap/AS. I need ideas on how to make her like using spoon. She's almost 8 months old. Biko don't ignore... Cos her grandma is saying I should leave her alone, that since she stopped sucking breast by herself, she will stop the bottle herself too.

Hi mama. I changed her pap to just corn and the poo has reduced to two times now and has a better texture.
I'll also finish the zinc treatment. Thanks mama smiley
PraisesG:

Please, change the pap to only corn and see if her system adjusts.
It depends on system, four times may not be too much, just continue with zinc only.
Do see,a doctor if after three days,no improvement.

Hi mama. Im going to share one small trick i use. Whatever cream you use for your LO, add drop or two of dettol. I've done this since my DD was born and we have never.. As in never had skin issues.
You could try it. Let us know if it works for you.
IreDara:
Good afternoon mama's, grandma's.
Pls, i came across while searching for what to use for my 2yr old baby girl.
Pls house, I'm looking for a good body cream for her.
She do have rashes every now and then, I actually taught I was doing something wrong at 1st, but my doctor assured me that she is just like that.
He said I should even stop the antibiotics syrup, I should just maintain a good hygiene for her.
The last rashes and boil she had left her skin dry and somehow... I was advised to use Shea butter, I used it and it all cleared off.

Her skin is cleared now but kinda dull and I don't really like the smell of Shea butter and the way it makes her face especially oily after bath.
I just want a mild cream and soap that will smoothen, soften and brighten her skin.
Thanks

Thanks mama I will. The way She screamed when I tried that first time ehn... but then I have to keep trying.
rvpbae:

You will keep trying, you only tried once na. Introducing solids is usually like that, one spoon at a time at different times during the day.

A pharmacist prescribed flagyl for me, read it and it stated it wasn't for under one year olds.

Thanks mama. I'll try that.

For spoon feeding, try giving her solid( puree and all) with spoon first before giving her breastmilk or formula because if you give her milk, she will be abit full and reject the food with a spoon.

Also, no rushing just patience and consistency.

My daughter just passed this phase, even my little niece. Ours was like a month. When I was tired of giving drugs. I let her be but I make sure I breastfeed her from time to time.

Then, I give ors to her too.

We are back to our once in a while poo.

That phase is scary. The only joy was that she eats well.

Upon say we took rota vaccine.

So don't fret, but make sure she eats well so she won't be restless. And include ors so she won't be dehydrated.
It's well.

grin grin I promise I have come out. So I read the pamphlet and it only slays not to give to babies below 3 months. I don't even know how I can increase her water intake. She doesn't like water. Im still trying though. As for trying other foods, is love to, only I don't know how I can introduce spoon feeding. First time I tried It, she refused to eat. I'll take her to the hospital this weekend . Thank you.
rvpbae:

No just repent because you want ask question o tongue

Stop all those drugs except for ors and zinc( which you should do for 10days) and take your child to the hospital. Flaygyl isn't recommended for a child under 1, i wonder why some people prescribe it, it is even stated on the pamphlet. Keep her hydrated too.

Our own was infection then and after just 2days of using the prescribed drugs by a paed, it all stopped. Diarrhoea is very dangerous.

You can introduce other foods, just try one new food at a time. Potato puree, egg yolk. Search thr thread, lots of options.

Good morning mamas and grandma. I've been a peeping Tom on this thread but I've decided to repent.

I need help please. My almost 5 month old has been stooling about 4 times a day for about 5 days now. I started giving her flagyl, zinc and probiotic as recommended by a matron. She eats well and is very active except when the poo comes. She takes brown pap as she has stopped breast feeding since 3 months (I wasn't lactating well and she stopped sucking altogether)and just formulae is no longer enough for her(She used to take 180ml every 2 hrs till I introduced the pap.). Please is there anything else I can do? She's on day 3 of the 5 day treatment nd still pops 4 times. Help please.

Can an almost 5 month old use It?
zaynie:
Hi moms!

For mom of girls, for a full and beautiful hair for your princess, try using Maracruiz organics.
It works wonders. The children's set consist of a bottle of shampoo (it lathers like crazy. I mean you don't need up to capful for each wash day ó)
A bottle of rinse out conditioner.
A leave in conditioner that can untangle any knot, I mean it. Even I use it too and it just makes it so easy to comb the hair.
A jar of hair butter, to be applied on dry hair. I love using this when we need to plait our hair without washing it previously. I just apply on scalp like 3 hours earlier and the scalp will be so neat and clean ehn...
A bottle of hair growth oil that is pure magic. Muna's hair was pulled too tight at the center and it chopped. I kept applying this oil and poof I can't find the bald spot again.
So I would honestly recommend this product.
A full set is 6500# and you can order from me.
I have used it ó and seen how effective it is and I have even bought for a couple of moms which is why I decided to sell.
It's 6500# on their IG page too so no wuruwuru here.
