While I'm opposed to all religion, I see the you're making. Extreme Islam is violent, a good chunk of the 'moderates' advocate such violence. It seems to reject all forms of change and insists on staying put in 850AD.

But I still feel it is important to treat people on a case-by-case basis and try to separate the idea from the person. Meaning you can hate Islam without hating Muslims.
