I weep for all the Nigerian students begging for ASUU to call off strike so that they can finish school. After school what? You graduate from a system that cannot compete with 2000 world rated universities. The paper you collect only shows that you are capable of learning as companies will have to train you again to learn what you need to know when others in other land spend 4 years to know all the theories and practicals that will take you 10 years to acquire in Nigeria. ASUU is fighting to correct this. Instead of you to put pressure on the FG to make tertiary education world standard , you are call on ASUU to return to you dirty, ill-equiped classroom and labs. The mere fact that you are satisfy with the status quo and want to go back to it means that you have no education. Because the number 1 objective of an educated mind is to know that something is wrong and a solution should be found and implemented. 4 Likes |

more ways to collect money. But what is it with stores which you must register and create profile before you buy or installed. I'm not a conspiracy theorist but when someone require that you must get a profile before you can buy on his store, it is akin to getting the biblical number before you buy anything. . In the good old days, u could get apps from anywhere and installed and off u go, now even if you installed but it was not from your account, you cannot update. What are they keeping the records for?. Apple ID, Google Account, Microsoft Account and now nextapps account, wtf! . I just hate the fact that someone is keeping records of and tracking everything I do or buy 1 Like |

yet another droid vs apple thread. The reason people preferred Windows to MAC and saw its growth was that a brand new window was a virgin fertile ground and user could plant almost anything they want there. MAC was a beautiful , sleek out-of-box machine but closed. Novice would prefer the packed feature of MAC computer but expert would be complaining of the limitations. . Same here with phones. Symbian and Android is to Windows what Blackberry and iOS is to MAC. Most people did not know that they could get push emails to their fones since 2008 until Blackberry came. Simply because Nokia expected you to configure it manually all the way while BB is straight in but you are limited to only what they gave you. . I always refer to Android as the Ultimate mobile OS cos of its versatility. The new package might not come with all the bells of Apple OS but it can afford you the function of adding almost anything you see on the iOS and so much more. . My advice. If your first smartphone experience is BB or iPhone then stick to it as you might muddle things up in the versatile android but if you were groom in the workings of symbian then move up to android or WP8 17 Likes |

The East-West road is such a massive project. The contractors apparently started with the less problematice hithetland section of the roads, and most of them are completed. the inside town portharcourt might take sometime for obvious reasons but work is accelerated there in many sections |

Even if 1000 men were sent to arrest a toddler, does that mean they deserve to be killed? It is rather shocking that the Ombatse have been jumping around giving interviews while no arrest has been made (at least to my knowledge). It is a real shame that Nigerians pitch tents against humanity when they wish.The inhumanity of the police against unharm , helpless civilian is far more appalling . When the police learn to 'Serve and Protect with Dignity'. I will sympatize with them.
