You think you are baptising into Christ the second time? No, you are baptising into denominationalism. |
Whether it is a parable or not, that scripture recognised the existence and importance of Aso Ebi. That settles it. |
How old is your girlfriend? I can see that she is behaving childishly. Please be patient with this girl, she will gradually outgrow her childishness. |
Very nice! |
8. Porn Sites: That is where Christians ignorantly contacted and get contaminated by foul and smelling spirits of lust and badluck. Porn sites should be a no go area for Christians because they does more harm than good to their spiritual welbeing. |
Even if he must demonstrate his faith by walking on water, why in a Crocodile river? What do we call that, carelessness or overzealousness? |

What makes the church different? Are they no longer one fold and one Shepherd again? |
Whatever he did at that moment would still make news. People will still talk if he laughs or cough or cry or frown. So enough of idle talk and mind your business |
What you did was bad, it will inconvenience that bank. Your behaviour is as bad as that of a landlord that just came to throw your things out of the house you rented without giving you a quit notice. What you need to do now is to apologise. Go and prepare an apology letter and personally deliver it to him(MD) in his office. |
Money answers all things now o. You should have made it a matter of private discussion between you and the church pastor, then give him money and see whether the child wont be dedicated openly. Look, Senate rejected Ibrahim Magu confirmation as EFCC chairman because the presidency didnt lobby for him. Same with your son's dedication, you are yet to lobby for it very well. |
Strangely enough, you cant find such dirty souls identifying with holiness churches like that of Kumuyi's Deeper life because they cant stand it. |
Tonto Dikeh marriage was a charade. It was founded on lies. The worth of a woman is not in her dress or address but in her interest! Tonto Dikeh merely received the reward meant for a worthless liar like her. So let tell her to repent and give her life to Jesus. |
Sexual immorality their Achilles heel(their weak point) |
It can't buy anything in my area but if you add #10 with it, you can buy a matchstick box, or a razor blade or biscuit |
A woman who crave for your attention and affection more than your money is truly in love with you. Marry her! |
Stay away from family problem and quietly build your own life. Bible says, "each one shall bear his own burden"(See Galatia 6 vs 5) That troublesome guy is your father's burden, so let him carry it to the police or to Jesus or to whoever can help him out. As for you, just stay away from trouble o, and you will be glad you did. |
[quote author=thorpido post=53302151]....AND Then said Jesus unto Peter,Put up thy sword into the sheath...vs 11 The issue is not that they were not armed. The issue is also not the action of Simon Peter. The issue here is Jesus' statement implying that they should be armed and fight. There is no Scripture or better still actions to support that.I hope you get the point. Jesus should have told Peter to throw his sword away as useless instead of asking him to put it back into its sheath. If possession of sword was not discouraged by Jesus but its uses on a particular occasion, why must we ignore possession arms for self defense completely? Something is not just balance here. |

Once upon a time, there was this girl called Saluwe and her parents. Saluwe was a very obedient and helpful girl. Her father and mother relied on her to do anything they asked. She would help to cook, wash her clothes and her parents’ clothes also and she also cleaned the house and the compound. She also helped her parents on their farm during planting and harvesting seasons. Saluwe was so helpful that her parents did not even need to supervise her, they just told her what to do, and she would do it before they came back from the farm. The end of the harvest season when people had harvested their crops was the time for the ‘Oro’ festival. During this time, a curfew ‘isede’ was usually called from sunset until sunrise. An “isede” was called so that all the important rituals that the “orisa” - gods required could be done to thank them for a bountiful harvest and to pray for another peaceful year. In preparation for the Oro festivals, all families in the town would cook different kinds of food, and prepare lavish dishes to entertain each other and also to give as sacrifice to the orisa. The orisa are gods in the Yoruba pantheon. In preparation for the Oro festival, Saluwe’s mother and father went to the farm to harvest the food that they would cook and prepare for their guests during the days of the festival. Before going to the farm, they asked Saluwe to rub the walls of their house before they got back from the farm. In the days before the Europeans introduced paints to Africa, people built houses with mud, and if you put water on the palms of your hands and rubbed the walls for a long time, the walls would become very glossy and smooth. Saluwe did as she was told, and even went to the stream to fetch water, because once the sun went down, the curfew would be on, and nobody, especially females could venture out of their houses. Saluwe had just finished rubbing the walls when her parents arrived from the farm. Saluwe’s mother praised her for a job well done and said to her “You are all dirty from rubbing the walls. Why don’t you go and wash up while I prepare dinner.” As Saluwe was about to take some of the water that she had gotten from the stream, her father said “No. Run quickly to the stream and wash up there, don’t waste the water that we have here.” Saluwe answered that the sun was going down and the curfew would soon be on. He replied “If you hurry up and take a quick dip in the water, you should be back before the curfew is on.” Off she went towards the stream, singing gaily. At the stream she met three strangers who asked her what she had come for. She said she had come to bathe in the river. They asked her if she didn’t know about the isede, but she replied that her father had told her that if she took a quick bath in the river she should be back before the isede came on. The strangers told her to go ahead and take a bath, but she must not come back again during the oro festival. The next day, Saluwe’s parents went to the market to sell some of the crops they had harvested. While they were gone, Saluwe cleared the compound of grass and weeds and swept the yard clean. She was covered with dust by the time her parents came home. Again, Saluwe’s mother told her to go and wash up while she was cooking dinner. Again, Saluwe’s father told her to go to the stream to bathe. Saluwe told her father that she had met three strangers at the stream the day before and they had told her not to come back. Her father answered “It is not the business of strangers whether we have curfews or not in this town. Run along and take a quick dip. You should be back before the curfew comes on.” So, off Saluwe went. At the stream, she met the same three strangers that she saw the day before. They asked her “What are you doing back here? Didn’t we warn you not to come back during the oro festival?” She answered that her father had told her to come again to the river since nothing happened to her yesterday. The strangers then told her to go ahead and bathe, but they turned their backs towards her while she bathed. When Saluwe finished bathing, she tried to step out of the stream, but her feet were rooted to the stream bed. She could not move. Saluwe started yelling for help. But because it was curfew time, there was nobody around to hear her. Back at home, Saluwe’s mother kept looking out the door, waiting to catch a sight of her daughter, but Saluwe did not show up. Saluwe’s mother could not go in search of her daughter because the oro had come out and the roars of the oro could be heard all over town. She comforted herself that Saluwe had stayed at a relative’s house when the curfew started, and she would be home in the morning. Early the next morning, Saluwe’s parents started looking for her in all their relatives and friends’ houses, but she could not be found. The entire town started looking for Saluwe, but she could not be found. Then they headed towards the stream because that was the last place she went. When they reached the stream, they found Saluwe, but she had sunk down in the river, up to her chest. Saluwe’s mother started screaming “E gba mi o!” E ba mi yo omo mi l’odo!” The townspeople tried to pull Saluwe out of the stream, but she only sank deeper. All the while Saluwe was singing: Call: Alantere O! Refrain: Antere Iya ni n pa’le de’un -Mother said to rub the walls for her Baba ni n pa’le de’un -Father said to rub the walls for him Mo mu’le mo pa rain -I rubbed the walls till they were shiny Mo m’odede mo pa gbara -I rubbed the halls till they were smooth Iya ni n b’omile wera -Mother said to wash with the water at home Baba ni n r’odo lo we -Father said to go and wash in the river Mo d’odo mo b’Oluweri -At the river I met Oluweri Mo b’orisa meta -I met three orisa Okan f’oju, okan y’aro -One was blind, one was crippled Okan oku s’eti gboin -The last one was deaf B’e ba de’le o -When you get home E ba mi ki iya mi -Greet my mother for me E ba mi ki baba mi -Greet my father for me E p’o d’oju ala o -Say I’ll see them in their dreams E p’o d’arinako -Say I’ll appear to them on the way Alantere o! -Alantere o! As the townspeople pulled, Saluwe only sank deeper. There was nothing to hold on to, except Saluwe’s head, which snapped off in her father’s hand, and the rest of her body sank completely into the river. The moral of the story is that one should obey the rules set down by the elders. The consequences of disobedience are great |

Mine is Pastor David Oyedepo and Pastor E.A Adeboye. Forget about their personal foibles or whether they will make heaven or not. What is certain about these two men is that, great grace is poured upon them from heaven and their ministration is second to none in Nigeria and Africa as a continent. |
Nokia C6 has good battery life and memory capacity. Go for it. |
Judaism people are still waiting for the second coming of Elijah as foretold in the old testament, even though Jesus told them that Elijah has indeed come but they were not aware!(Mark 9 vs 13). So it is no wonder that christians too are also in the waiting game for the second coming of Jesus Christ. Let the waiting game continue, at the end, our folly will be clear to us all. |
The pastor can't that foolish. He won't kill the children and keep their corpses within the vicinity of his church. So the police should dig deeper in their effort to get the killers of the 2 children and bring them to justice. |
Didn't the same Holy Bible called Adam and Eve dusts?(See Genesis 3 vs 19). So by saying the Serpent would eat dust, don't you know it may be talking about something deeper than the regular dust you see around you? Please pray for deeper understanding of God's word because only the deep can call to the deep. |
"I will set nothing wicked before my eyes; I hate the work of those who fall away(sinful people like Porn Stars, Perverts and Nudists); It shall not cling to me. A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will not know wickedness"- Psalm 101 vs 3 to 4. * Pornography is vile and can defile a Christian. Whatever or whoever is defiled attracts destruction! It is a spiritual law- Micah 2 vs 10, 1 Corinthians 3 vs 17. * Pornography is the work of those who have fallen away from God. They are called porn stars. We are not to show interest in what they do so that we do not become partakers in their sins: "Do not lay hands on anyone hastily, nor share in other people's sins; keep yourself pure"- 1 Timothy 5 vs 22. * Pornography can corrupt your heart and a corrupt heart cannot find favour with God- Proverbs 17 vs 20. Prayer from a corrupt heart seldom get answer- Psalm 66 vs 18. With pornography comes masturbation, fornication, incest and taboo, sodomy, paedophilia(having sexual interest in small children/minors), Bestiality(having sex with animal such as dogs, horses, cows, monkeys, e.t.c), rape and so on; all these can corrupt a christian absolutely and God does not want that for His own. * Wherever there is Pornography materials, unclean spirit will be there! What does unclean spirits command? Deception, Corruption and Destruction! They can corrupt and damage your phone/computer or any gadget where pornography is kept. Can you now see that a life without sanctification is heading to demonic possession, oppression and destruction? Please be careful because things are not always what they seem. * People who see you a christian watching porn can be tempted to start doing the same. Thus, you become the devil's soul winner! The reward for such offense is curse!(See Matthew 18 vs 6 to 9). Please pray that offense didn't come through you. Don't run into a curse, stay on course in life. * Pornography can be very addictive. Once start, it is always difficult to stop as it becomes a dead weight pulling you down mentally and spiritually. It can't help your spiritual life to grow and it often lead to spiritual insensitiveness, blindness and powerlessness. The reason for addiction to mundane things like pornography is to depopulate heaven and populate hell. So if heaven is your goal, don't touch porn, avoid it like a plague. God bless you! |
"Francis is a member of the church; Christian is a member of the church; her Aunty is a member of the church"(of rapist). It is like a fast rising rapist church has just been bursted by the police. Glory be to God. |
The organisers of the roundtable discussion are to be blamed for inviting a public nuisance like Femi Aribisala to give talk. |
