I need help!! I have someone in Paris (Charles de Gaulle airport) and he is being told that his student visa cannot be found online so they cannot let him board.
He has his visa and arrivecan receipt and I have just checked his status on the IRCC portal: the visa has not been revoked.
Did anyone have this issue when arriving

Check the portal, does the visa portal say visa approved? If yes, tell him to show that portal to the officer over there.

You are good to go. Mind you, upon issuance of admission, tge school charges 1500cad s tuition deposit but it is refundable in the event your visa is denied.

Furthermore IELTS is not mandatory for Canadian study visa application

To answer your questions:
My husband was my sponsor
I did not include my own bank statement, i however included my payslips
At the time of application, i paid the deposit then paid the full tuition to avoid losing my admission with the school. The person helping me with the application raised a webform to that effect.
There were no lump sums. I used my husband's dollar account and fixed investments statements as proof of funds.
I however applied with my 2 sons. I guess that's where the issue of dissatisfaction with home ties in Canada and home country plus personal assets and financial status arose from.
After getting my gcms notes, can i reapply alone?

The bolded is an issue. As an applicant with at least a year experience, you are expected have your own bank statement included in your application which should house at least your living expense of $10,000 while your sponsor's bank statement can have your tuition or more in his/her account.

Every other item yu pointed out seems good and accurate therefore please do the same in your reapplication.

Yes, you can reapply once the gcms note is out as it will help you greatly in addressing the visa officer's refusal concerns and your reapplication. You can reapply alone while your family stands in as your hometies.

This is a health course boss.. You need an administrative or marketing or business administration or Human resource course. Conestoga college has it.

I am not sure they will ask if you have paid your tuition but if they do, ensure you tell them that the school havent asked you to pay but however you have the fees in your account. You can open your bank app and show them the balance.

Sorry for your denial. You can either apply using third party sites like gcmsonline.com or I can apply for you.

Who was your sponsor?
Did you include your own bank statement?
Did you pay either your full tuition or made a deposit?
Were there lumps sums with explanation of source?

Please when filing a joint application for study permit and SOWP for spouse, they are requesting for documents to show “purpose of travel”(temporary residency) in the spouse SOWP section. What documents can be used?

Has anybody been approved because one of the requirements for SOWP is the approved spouse's Study permit and work permit.

If your cousin is using his company's account to sponsor you, it is logical to include an approval letter from his board or shareholders accenting to that approval with a letter otherwise your proof of sponsorship won't be valid. The bank of America, who owns the account? If its him or another sponsor, he or she has to include an affidavit of sponsorship and you are meant to mention that on your SOP.

For the tuberculosis, you need to show you have this illment in control by showing you follow strict doctors prescription and other relevant treatment procedures to prove it won't be a problem to you or to others whilst in canada.

Yes it possible to still be denied despite being invited to do medicals on the request of IRCC. For your case, keep disturbing them and ensure you include the date of class resumption which will persuade them to attend to your app.

Good day everyone, I intend to submit my application February 27, and I want to book for medicals before then. The slots for late February have all been booked, the date available for me to book is February 12. I want to know if it's advisable to do it considering that the hospital might have sent the medical result, before I submit my application on February 27.

Once upfront medicals is done, you are issued a slip as proof of medical completion. When submitting your app, include the slip along with other docs you are unploading. After 3days of completing your biometrics and the medicals has not been updated , keep sending that slip via webform till its updated.

I received email that my application is ready for collection and I called the customer care and they told me my passport is ready for collection but when I called the courier I used red star express they said the parcel is not in the drop box for collection.

Nobody uses red star express OR even GIG Logistics. What people use here is DHL. Reach out to vfs to inquire their charges to have the stamped passport couriered back to you.

Yes to your first question

The sponsor can apply for you but all information regarding the application has to be that of the sibling not in the US. If the sibling is in Nigeria, biometrics will be done in Nigeria.

Sorry for your denial.

I believe you were denied based on purpose of visit and family/hometies. Your sop didnt do justice to convince the vo why you are going to canada to study. It didnt explain your reason of choosing your intended course by relating it to your present work experience. The sop is meant to also show the importance of your course and how it is beneficial to you and your country of residence
