freebuddy: Let me get this straight. Some doctors leave the country because the infrastructure is grossly inadequate. This leads to a situation where the remaining doctors become overworked. Then some of the overworked doctors get fed up and decide to quit and relocate to other countries, worsening the situation.
Kai!!! Nigeria is in serious trouble. No wonder NYSC doctors and junior doctors are the only ones who often attend to me when I visit the hospital!
Mogbe! O ti gbe. Nigeria troubles just dey start ni. Whynotthetruth: on the 7th of March 2014, then President Jonathan said “I am loyal to Nigeria’s economy. I don’t have accounts or property abroad.” Till date, nobody has been able to contradict that statement because it is true. Can Bola Tinubu or anybody in the APC leadership make a similar claim? Even their saint bubu cannot make such a claim. The $2.8 billion he stole as federal commissioner for petroleum in the 70s is still stashed in London. The billions he stole as PTF Chairman with Abacha don join am. Now he has added Baru's $26 billion on top. That is why he is always rushing to London faking sickness to enjoy Aisha in za oza room of medical tourism. Such a loathsome thief.Any wonder he could send his children to schools in Britain while pretending to be a broke ass, incompetent old soldier to his All Poverty Congress, APC zombies shouting change, change www.nairaland.com/attachments/2056178_buharrriii_jpegfa72c16ad1c41e9eed450be7ddf57e53www.nairaland.com/attachments/3441929_img20160227001458_jpeg3fecf627d6b5447631b348f011e59b5a |

sdindan: Tinubu don't have any moral right to talk ill against GEJ
Tinubu is the father of corruption in Nigeria. A thief, rogue and drug peddler should not be talking where citizens are discussing. He should be rotting in jail for his murderous crimes.Only in the Fulani's naijeriya. A pauper who had forfeited $460,000 to the US authorities to pay off his drug dealing crime and begging for food in 1999 is now the biggest landlord of Lagos. A national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has cleared the air on the alleged enmity between him and a former two-term Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel.
Tinubu, who spoke through Mr. Wale Edun at the 25th anniversary celebration of Otunba Gbenga Daniels’ Kresta Laurel, said there is no truth in the stories that he has been fighting with Gbenga Daniel, adding that they are still good friends.
Edun said: “I am here representing Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and my presence is to show that there is no friction between Asiwaju and Otunba Gbenga Daniel”
Mr. Edun went on to explain that whenever Tinubu drives past the Kresta Laurel building in Maryland, Lagos, he remembers the enormous contributions Daniel made to the take off of his administration in 1999 and was immensely grateful.
He revealed that the Peoples Democratic Party chieftain was very gracious to donate the Kresta Laurel building to Tinubu’s campaign team at the time it was just being completed.
“The Daniels also made a section of their home available to Asiwaju Bola Tinubu whenever he worked too late and could not go home. After the election, he also allowed us to use it for the Transition Committee where he was a member”

Dollarization Of The APC Primaries: How Amaehi Vanquished Atiku #saibuhari
The blogosphere was inundated with reports of the excessive sharing of dollars at the All Progressives Congress which took place during the latter part of last week.
One APC supporter and Special Adviser to Osun Governor on Environment, BolaIlori had blown the scandal open after he saw the beginning stages of the dollarization in action.
He took to his Facebook page and scribbled, “Crazy things are happening here!!! Some of these cannot represent the change Nigeria is yearning for. Excessive dollarization by one of the aspirants to is to say the least obscene. I have been involved in political process for decades now, I have never witnessed this volume of raw dollarization of party primaries. I only read about this kind of things in PDP primaries. A question been asked by conscientious delegates is that whoever can be giving out between $2000 to $5000 to…delegates certainly does not represent the kind of change Nigerians want…those who contributed to the pauperization of Nigeria now revel in dollarization… majority of Ondo delegates are still standing with Buhari but have been reduced from 85% to 70% within 24 hours…the remaining has gone with dollars ooo.!!!!!”
One has to wonder how Buhari was able to win the primaries in this era of stomach infrastructure where dollars are like the Biblical manna that God sent down from heaven to nourish the Israelites as they made their way to the promised land.
Sources close to the APC with knowledge of the way the Primaries unfolded have revealed that it was Rivers State Governor, Amaechi who flew back to Rivers State and returned to Lagos on Thursday morning with enough dollars to make Benjamin Franklin blush.
It has been revealed that Atiku offered the delegates $5000 each, but Amaechi doubled it to $10000 a pop. Thus turning the tables in favour of General Buhari.
Since his adventure into the APC, Amaechi has gone out of his way to prove himself a party loyalist, always the first to shoki or azonto at the many events the APC holds, which he himself is usually the chief sponsor.
According to party insiders, Amaechi has overtaken Tinubu as the major financier of the party. One does not need to wonder why he is always at President Jonathan’s throat over misappropriated oil wells or other such business. Anything that diminishes from the State’s coffers will have a ripple effect on his funding budget for the APC.

HoluwarTohbar: @anonimi, that's my only anger with the last administration. Now the never-do-well Buhari learnt from that mistake and ensures annual budget for media campaign doubles that of education! That is the terrible mistake they made and which we must not allow to happen again with the lunatic currently in Aso Rock with his 40 thieves cabal of the All Poverty Congress, APC.We, the youths need to actively engage in partisan politics- join up and use our talents, time and money to make things happen in our favour instead of letting these old recycled cargoes run ruin our lives. Revealed: How Buhari Budgeted N39 billion for Propaganda
In a bid to launder his already battered image, President Muhammadu Buhari has allocated a whooping sum of N39 billion in the 2016 budget to the Ministry of Information and Culture, a sum higher than the paltry N29 billion allocated to the Ministry of Agriculture.
This is a direct inverse of the 2015 budget, where Former President Goodluck Jonathan allocated the sum of N23 billion to Ministry of Information and N39 billion to the Agricultural Ministry.
The meager allocation to the Agricultural ministry has left political stakeholders wondering if the present administration aims at diversifying the economy or thriving on propaganda.
Buhari had in August, 2015 stated that Nigerians must stop paying mere lip service to agriculture, as crude oil and gas exports will no longer be sufficient as the country’s major revenue earner.
“It’s time to go back to the land. We must face the reality that the petroleum we had depended on for so long will no longer suffice. We campaigned heavily on agriculture, and we are ready to assist as many want to go into agricultural ventures,’’ Buhari stated.
However investigations by Post Nigeria revealed that Buhari’s words did not match his action following the lean budgetary provision for Agriculture.

‘A budget that moves domestic spending in Aso Villa from N580m to N1.7bn cannot be a budget of change’
Abuja – Sen. Eyinnaya Abaribe (PDP Abia South) on Wednesday in Abuja, berated the 2016 budget and called on President Muhammaduu Buhari to withdraw it and go back to the drawing board.
Abaribe while making contributions during the consideration of the budget, said the proposal was faulty on many grounds and could not be implemented at it was.
He said that predication of oil benchmark at 38 dollars per barrel when the crude oil price had fallen below 30 dollars per barrel made the budget unrealistic.
Abaribe faulted the government for increasing spending by 30 per cent based on borrowing.
“Mr President, my colleagues, this budget is indeed unique. After the budget presentation, the finance minister has never come to explain the details of the budget as it is normally done.
“It is a budget of change I agree, but it is a change in the wrong direction. I say it is a change in the wrong direction because it says that it is based on zero budgeting requiring all expenses to be fully justified.
“Mr President, a budget that increases spending up to 30 per cent based solely on borrowing, in what way are we justified? That is the question we want to ask the people who brought this budget.
“We know what is going on in the global economy: this budget is predicated on an oil benchmark of 38 dollars per barrel and I can now say that with oil being 28 dollars today, this budget is dead on arrival.
“The job of the opposition is to help the government to get its priorities right, so I want to please urge this government to withdraw this budget and go back to the drawing board,” he said.
The senator also faulted the adjustments made in the budget as well as allocation for spending in the Aso Rock Villa, saying that it was too exorbitant.
He said that the adjustments rather than reduce spending in areas where they were not necessary only spread it into different offices.
“Mr President, a budget that moves domestic spending within Aso Villa from N580 million to N1.7 billion cannot be a budget of change.
“We were told that in the revised budget there was an adjustment due to error, we agree but what has happened is that up to N7 billion were moved from buying vehicles and spread to offices.
“It also increased the spending that is due to renovations within the Villa.
“They are going to renovate the Villa with N3.9 billion: what else do you want to renovate there that Nigerians will see in the Year 2016?” he asked.
However, in his contribution, Sen. Ahmed Lawan (APC Yobe North) blamed the previous administration for the lack of funds due to the embezzlement witnessed in previous governments.
He said that this was the 17th budget he would be debating as a legislator and noted that not more than 40 per cent implementation was achieved in the last 16 years.
“The proposal before us is the first budget where the executive has deemed it necessary to give ordinary Nigerians genuine hope.
“N500 billion allocated for school feeding and social SAFTEY NET is commendable.
“It is time to say oil should not continue to play dominant role as we have suffered economically and politically: it is time to diversify this economy.
“The direction of the executive is the way to go. `That is, we should make every effort to have the real sector-agric mining and manufacturing.
“The budget deserves the support of everyone, including my colleagues on the other side. When we were in the opposition we supported the PDP, they should support us,” he said.

31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Adeniran’s advice came after he submitted his Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms at the national secretariat of the party on Wednesday.
He also stated that he had expected the Ekiti governor to have to lead the state’s delegation to support him (Adeniran) at the PDP convention.
Adeniran said, “My governor is interested in contesting the Presidency of this country and I believe that he thought that well, it will be impossible for us to have the President and national chairman from the same place.
“Now, the more he realizes that the party has taken a decision that our president by the grace of God as for 2019 will come from the North, the more he realizes the reason to stand by the method decided by the party; the more he will realize that the position taken by the party at the convention is a reality and that he will support his brother Adeniran for the chairman. Why should southerners accept that our next president come from the north despite the: - parasitic nature of the Fulani owners of naijeriya and their born-to-rule oppression without contributing anything to the federation account but sharing the most?- backwardness in education demonstrated in the Unity School cut off marks and a NEPA certificate president boss of a law professor? Fake news on paper. Very fake news. All Poverty Congress, APC want do us wayo again with lies and propaganda as they did in 2015. Thank God our eyes don open well well. In the same country of fake news inflation drop, we have car sales at lowest record as reported below: father01: The prospects of majority of Nigerians buying brand new vehicles in the near future may not be guranteed as the total number of new vehicle sold in Nigeria may not exceed 10,000 units by the end of this year further painting a flood picture of a chequered local auto industry that is not growing at the expected pace.
The number of brand new vehicles according to figures show’s the total numbet of brand new vehicles dropping from 50,000 units, which was recorded before the introduction of a new automotive policy in 2013. This disclosure which was one of the high points local automakers and dealers stated this in Lagos on Tuesday and gave low purchasing power due to economic crunch, scarcity of foreign exchange and high interest rate as some of the factors responsible for the drastic drop. They spoke at the 2017 symposium of the automobile and allied services group of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry held under the theme, ‘The Nigeria auto policy: The current drivers’. Executive Director, Truckmasters Nigeria Limited, . Oseme Oigiagbe, said rather than encourage production and purchase of new vehicle sales, the enforcement of the auto policy had largely led to significant reduction in the sales figures. He said the figures had consistently dropped from 50,000 units in 2013 to 40,000 vehicles in 2015; 20,000 in 2016 and 10,000 this year. Oigiagbe, who said the Federal Government ought to have placed a total ban on the importation of used vehicles to drive the new vehicles’ patronage, lamented the high interest rate on vehicle loans, ranging from 25 per cent to 27 per cent. On his 9.art, Executive Director, Kewalram Chanrai Group, Anil Sahgal, also put the total figures of new vehicles sold this year at 10,000 units, stressing that without the support of the government for the automobile assemblers, the industry would not make any headway. The Executive Director, Nigerian Automotive Manufacturers Association, Remi Olaofe, said many of the auto assemblers were merely producing vehicles and dumping them in the warehouses as a result of low patronage. Managing Director, VON Automobile Limited¥Adetokunbo Aromolaran, who described the situation as pitiable, said there was no way the nation could make progress if the government continued to buy imported fully built vehicles. He said, “The government remains the biggest buyer, and it has to lead by example by buying made-in-Nigeria vehicles. The auto business is a demand-driven; once volume grows, the cost of production will drop and vehicles’ prices will come down. There is also the need to create viable vehicle finance scheme.” The Managing Director, National Trucks Manufacturers LimitedIbrahim, Bayero, said, “Majority of us have been recording losses in the last five years due to poor sales.” He criticised the granting of licences by the government to 53 auto firms to assemble vehicles in Nigeria, saying, “It does not make economic sense’ and warned that without sincerity, the auto policy would not achieve its desired goals.” While the Deputy President, LCCI,.
