Politics › Re: Peter Obi Wins Labour Party Presidential Primary As Pat Utomi Steps Down by anonimi: 5:04pm On May 30, 2022
warlordd:
Obi the fox who bluntly refused to pay a dime to PDP delegates has finally arrived at a place where he expects people to LABOUR for free for him.
Labour for free for him, or for themselves to have a better Nigeria that works for everyone?
Is that how Britain, America, Canada is such a beautiful place that our people are praying and fasting to go to? Even if it means death in the Sahara desert, Mediterranean Sea, Libya etc?
Oga, abeg park well if you don't know what you are talking about.

Can we 200 million Nigerians be as smart as 31 million Ghanaians?
Ghanaians who checkmated popular J.J. Rawlings attempt to impose his VP in their 2000 elections.
Can we equally work hard enough to raise money and convince people in the 774 LGAs to reject moneybags like Atiku, Thiefnuibu & co?
Can we do ithuh

Nigerians: We are tired of APC and PDP. Same people. Very corrupt. We need a different political party to challenge APC and PDP. Peter Obi is smart and a credible leader .

Peter dump PDP to labor party.

Gullible Nigerians: Peter Obi isn't smart. He shot himself. Should have stayed and become VP to Atiku grin cheesy
How much of your own time and money have you invested in Labour Party and Obi to show your tiredness of APC and PDPhuh

Obi got it wrong big time. He just lost his chance of becoming the vice president to Atiku.
Exactly.
He should have eaten the humble pie stylishly and stepped down for Atiku like Tambuwal did.

The likes of Obi and Utomi deserve to lead Nigeria not those money miss road agberos and corrupt elements jostling to rip the country off as usual.
Obi Pandora and Utomi who helped ThiefNuibu package Bubu as APC messiah to fight corruption despite his Abacha a-looter comrade history.
What kind of comedy is this pleasehuh

Political parties are means of transport. Atiku joined, left, joined, left and joined PDP again. Still got ticket.

If you can get to the airport few minutes before plane takes off, get a ticket and still join the flight, its possible.

Will the people in the plane say they booked ticket long ago, but you just came now and got ticket and joined the plane?

The destination should be the focus.
After you made a public show of saying you are not desperate to travel?
Abeg stop ya joke. It's not funny!

But how can someone emerge as the presidential candidate of a Party that he joined less than 2 weeks to the deadline for submission of flagbearers to INEC.

How absurd is that?
Very absurd, and shows the desperation of Obi to be president by force.
What of the many other ways to influence public policy available to him huh

By paying a lawyer to defend his right to contest in court?
Or by issuing a statement denying interest in the 2023 election?
Please how did he distance himselfhuh

itubaba001:
Lagos, the commercial hub of Nigeria, has been ranking as one of the worst places to live in the world for the nine straight years, a BusinessDay analysis shows.

Data from the 2019 Global Liveability Index published by the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), the world’s leader in global business intelligence, shows the city has been within the range of 137th-139th position out of a total of 140 cities in the world from year 2011-2019.
Last year, Nigeria overtook India as the country with the largest number of people living in extreme poverty, thereby becoming the world capital of poverty, according to the Brookings Institute. This year, the number has risen to 91.6 million from 87 million in June 2018. Every minute, six Nigerians enter the group of extremely poor people, according to the World Poverty Clock.

He is a politician responsible for the collective destinies of millions.
Thousands have died because of their greeds and mismanagements so Tinubu or any other Nigerian politicians for that matter deserved to be stoned.
Calling of derogatory names is the least of the worries here.
I have no regards for any of those Polithiefcians whether they are old enough to be my grandfather.
In Nigeria, our elders have failed the youths misreably.
Very true but why have the youths allowed the elders to fail them? Why can’t they work hard like the elders did when they were young, so that the elders don’t fail them miserably? What is stopping them from doing that work? Who is holding them back from doing the jobhuh

You are free to vote and even campaign for the candidate of your choice, don't stress your life trying to throw mud and slander others in the process. Like i said, they are both very close friends and business partners. They'll both be involved in the incoming government if they are still alive. Don't kill yourself over it.
It’s not about killing oneself over anyone.
It’s about sharing factual information about the candidates for the one who has a better public policy record to win.

Birds of the same feathers so don't stress your life over them, they are in government together next year any which way.
What is stressing one's life about who will have the role of deciding every aspect of each Nigerian's life through his public policy choices?
Are you for real or you simply enjoy cruise control hoping for a perfect messiah to do everything right instead of working your own bit of improvementhuh

I'm not interested in Nigerian politics beyond the comic relief that comments like yours give me. If the bolded statement is true, where did all the Igbo votes go when Atiku won the primaries? How many Igbo delegates were at the primaries? How many votes did all the Igbo aspirants get?

The earlier laymen like us face realities, the better for us. I lost faith in Igbo Presidential aspirations when Ojukwu could not even get Igbo votes in a presidential election. Nigerian politics is the more you look, the less you see.

anyways what do I know? Let me go and play ludo, at least I can understand the game.

He was initially denied entry into the Ivory Coast because the border between Ivory Coast and Senegal was closed due to Covid-19 restrictions, but the Nigerian Embassy in Ivory Coast helped him get around the problem. He had ridden into Burkina Faso in order to avoid Ivory Coast, but he came back into Ivory Coast after the Nigerian Embassy intervened. He also suffered a flat tyre in Mali, but kind villagers came to his rescue.
I am not sure that Ivory Coast has a border with Senegal.
Perhaps you meant Malihuh
