If the APC will field him in 2023, he has my vote.
I just feel sorry for him for deputizing Buhari, a man who's not fit to be a local government chairman.
Well, that's the price we all have to pay for being Nigerians So intelligent to draft the pension Bill for Thiefnuibu in 2007 that set the pace for other lootocrat governors to follow? Is there a new definition of intelligent politician that is is not beneficial to the people Intelligent ko, itelese ni! www.nairaland.com/attachments/4284749_fbimg1474050978374_jpeg39ff755f5e96523b18d624dde1a019a0 |

many Northern youths are innovative, but their greedy elders wont let them shine.. i remember sometimes few years ago when Habokkiis designed a PVC pipe LED AA battery using lamp and where hawking it about, i was currious and i bought one, and it was not only very effective it used lesser energy
Young Habokii youth are inventing sucide bomb vest and new drugs to get high by sniffing soak away , gum , and reptile feaces. So why do they need less than half the points of southerners to get into Unity schools paid with oil revenue and VAT of the southern people?charlycharles: Cut-off marks for entrance to Federal UNITY Schools for all 36 states and the FCT •••• Abia – Male (130) Female (130) Adamawa – Male (62) Female (62) Akwa-Ibom – Male (123) Female (123) Anambra – Male (139) Female (139) Bauchi – Male (35) Female (35) Bayelsa – Male (72) Female (72) Benue – Male (111) Female (111) Borno – Male (45) Female (45) Cross-Rivers – Male (97) Female (97) Delta – Male (131) Female (131) Ebonyi – Male (112) Female (112) Edo – Male (127) Female (127) Ekiti – Male (119) Female (119) Enugu – Male (134) Female (134) Gombe – Male (58) Female (58) Imo – Male (138) Female (138) Jigawa – Male (44) Female (44) Kaduna – Male (91) Female (91) Kano – Male (67) Female (67) Kastina – Male (60) Female (60) Kebbi – Male (9) Female (20) Kogi – Male (119) Female (119) Kwara – Male (123) Female (123) Lagos – Male (133) Female(133) Nassarawa – Male (58) Female (58) Niger – Male (93) Female (93) Ogun – Male (131) Female (131) Ondo – Male (126) Female (126) Osun – Male (127) Female (127) Oyo – Male (127) Female (127) Plateau – Male (97) Female (97) Rivers – Male (118) Female (118) Sokoto – Male (9) Female (13) Taraba – Male (3) Female (11) Yobe – Male (2) Female (27) Zamfara – Male (4) Female (2) FCT Abuja – Male (90) Female (90)
After 50 years of Independence, the government of the so called disadvantaged regions ought to have done something to address the situation. You cannot continue to spoon-feed a child and expect that same child to grow, mature and be independent. A student from Abia scores 130 in the Federal Commonwealth Entrance exam, yet it's almost impossible to gain admission in the school of his choice, yet another child from Zamfara will score less than 5 and gain same admission seamlessly. How do you encourage such a child that hard work and merit pays?
Look at all the appointments the president has made so far, over 90% from the north. They are telling us they are based on merit. My question is how comes, when it comes to appointment, they are hiding under merit to appoint only their own, but when it comes to exams and admission into Federal institutions, they bring in Federal character. I'm an advocate of merit, hardwork, transparency, objectivity and emperical selection process. That way you encourage everybody to work hard for whatever he/she wants. After all, the Bible says, "he who does not work, let him not eat". It's against natural and spiritual justice and principle to take from those who work and give to those who don't work.
That in itself is the root of corruption Nigeria. I support the President's fight against corruption. I advocate the enthronement of merit and objectivity in our national life. So, Mr. President, if you are serious about your anti-corruption mantra, If you are serious about this your new "merit" policy, let's go back to the basis. Start by eliminating all forms of quota system and federal character in the admission process into Unity schools, Federal universities and recruitment/employment into all federal civil service, agencies, parastatals and let's see who will be qualified. That's my humble submission. |

Is it not the same Gombe reported below cuiz: A boarding school in Gombe, Government Science Secondary School, Kaltungo in Southern Gombe State, always pray against rainfall as a result of their dilapidated building.
Reports gathered by Punch correspondents, says the students of the school are always praying against rainfall, even the teachers.
According to the pupils, they barely sleep as they are awake to always park water whenever it rains, they also added that they have converted most of their classrooms to hostels, still is not enough for the population.
They also complained that they have over 26 classrooms but just two are good whenever it rains it disrupts the lessons as students ran for safety.

MOnkeyBabe: Please don't misunderstand me for saying this. ABROad, their health system is good. But they still waiting for people to donate kidneys and other body parts. A few people who do not have anyone to donate to them like friends and family may wait for years. Health professionals don't encourage people to buy bodyparts off the black market since it is deemed illegal. They know if it is legalized, many people would sell their organs and face a lot of health risks. Demand would definitely SKyROCket and become more than supply. At the same time, I pity people who are broke and willing to go the extra mile to make ends meet. I jokingly suggested I would donate if they offer me CITIZENSHIP. Many looking for kidneys are willing to do Anything to get working kidneys. They may end up leaving the U.S. and other advanced countries to places like inDia where they can easily penetrate the ORGan. The Only thing I think that's wrong and should be punished, is actually killing someone and harvesting their body parts for your own selfish financial interest. Hell, if someone makes up their mind to sell something like their kidney which comprises 2 in the body, unlike a heart & liver, we have just one. Though Risky, I may give the GoAhead. Because you end up saving lives faster (rather than an ill patient waiting for 10years for a kidney transplant and ending up dying )and end up putting money in your POCket. What is the demographics of donors of organs between whites and blacks? |

Some diseases have a way of eroding ones income in a way that is unbelievable. It would have been nice if we had a good working health insurance scheme that takes care of people. Pray not to have illnesses that will finish all the resources one has. Stop giving unnecessary excuses for the obvious spendthrift. What stops him and others like him from engaging professional wealth managers, financial advisers and accountants as soon as he starts his acting career? Were you the one who stopped him? Good working health insurance based on taxes, abi? How much taxes do you think he and other actors paid/pay? midnighter: And now I can see your point, yet it doesn't take away from the fact that suffering a low quality of life that doesn't match your expectation for your personal effort and achievement will naturally prompt you to consider alternatives.
Is it an individual doctors fault that his education was relatively cheap?
If they are able to provide the free and heavily subsidised education then why not follow through and create a conducive work environment?
Or to remedy your grouse, be like Singapore(I think) and rule that anybody who studies medicine on a govt grant must work for the government for at least 2 years after graduating.
Your last bolded statement closes the case. The highlighted shows that you still don't understand that the people have the sovereignty and make the society/community/town/LGA/state/country.Review carefully and make amend. Cheers. |

9jaRealist: EVERY society and nation started somewhere and worked their way up... In my parents time in the US (1960s), blacks were still being publicly lynched, denied the vote, denied service in shops and generally segregated.
Meanwhile, how much does a “qualified Nigerian doctor” has to pay for his education as opposed to UK or US-qualified doctors (where most graduate from medical school with up to $250K loan debt)? A nation’s most important natural resource is human capital, and thus nations invest in their citizens with the hope and expectation of getting a ‘return’ by those citizens productivity (or re-investment into the society). Tens of thousands of Nigerians have benefited from heavily-subsidized and/or even free public education, including so many Nigerians in the diaspora.
Citizens create nations, not the other way around... Ultimately, Nigeria’s condition is the culmination of the actions (by commission or omission) of ALL Nigerians - as will be its future. > Abeg loud am, Oga. Let those who have ears listen and ACT on these truths. www.nairaland.com/attachments/10558418_img20190910120928_jpeg5b4f7f72e7c7a22dc64bb1ac3b7b0cca |

midnighter: I dont understand where all the argument is coming from; the hundreds of thousands of Nigerians in diaspora who have contributed to healthcare, commerce and education nko?
Even if you have a point, you are also detracting from it from being extreme. You cant deny the fact that people who try and try in this country often have nothing to show for it where they would have in a working system, which is why they emigrate in search of greener pastures. Thats all I was driving at in my original comment.
Whether they should be doing that, whether our political engagement is up to standard or the wider question of lack of progress in black nations is a different story.
If you want others to acknowledge that black people should do more, then you yourself need to admit that we are not totally useless, everywhere we go.
Anyway, you keep poking holes in my comments and attaching all these provocative cartoons. I notice that most of your posts seem to imply an exasperation with black Africans.
Im curious; what is your own solution to the problem? What about "blacks" do you wish to improve (I do understand that we could do better)? Exasperation? Yes. Wish to improve? Seriousness with self and community work. Understand and act on what makes Asians and white societies much better.https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/12/66/21/1266216dc936efe1b726cbe68a327cfb.jpg |

Not everybody wants to be a sacrificial lamb For our country and blacks generally, even in the advanced countries, it is more appropriate to say that no one wants to be the sacrificial lamb but everyone has the expectation of a certain standard of living from a community/society that they have invested nothing into.See the dilemma www.nairaland.com/attachments/6423790_africa2debt_jpeg668126b9bb169d38087fd57900dde379www.nairaland.com/attachments/294278_chinainafrica_jpgbd4ea16cc6391fffe329bb549e5ad537 |
