emeshot:i will post whatever I want, wherever I want, as long as it's within nairaland rules if you don't like it open your own website, simple. commonsens is not common anymore |
emeshot:you're the coward for not having the simple human decency to treat people with courtesy dealer indeed as far as this is nairaland any member or user has the freedom to post on any thread, read the rules. nothing like your business here. if you don't like it open your website and control traffic |
Westmorland:that's their character, many of them, so rude and uncouth, then when sales start to drop they would start to blame innocent people in the village. time will tell |
Jakumo:Refined palate, you have Sir. ![]() |
AutoJoshNG:You're deliberately missing the point, even on your website I didn't see a direct link to the Volvo website page Dottore posted ,So you lifted the information from Volvo or some other website, posted on your website, then posted it here and used the plagiarized post on your website as your source. If crook A stole from bank A and deposited in bank B, and then used the money from bank B to make payments to bank C, isn't the money still stolen money? |
Once upon a time Toyota designed and sold the diminutive smart car badged as the Scion or Toyota iQ in Europe, North America and Asia. www.nairaland.com/attachments/7724222_carimage2_jpeg_jpeg90eac0fb96f43f6b6b5b7b8e37b8258e www.nairaland.com/attachments/7724223_carimage3_jpeg_jpeg674c207626cd64acbc5d6275e6dff7e7 It was a 3 door hatchback with a 1.0 - 1.4 L inline 3/inline 4 cylinder engine producing 67 - 97 horsepower with a manual/CVT transmission. ========================================= Along came Aston Martin, the famous British manufacturer of all things powerful but suave and refined, who needed some help with their regulation fleet emissions, so they promptly slapped the Aston Martin badge on the iQ, and the Aston Martin Cygnet was born. www.nairaland.com/attachments/7724287_astonmartincygnetc6622100520172229134_jpeg27f3e58165d4a29346dfff7049d88efb www.nairaland.com/attachments/7724288_astonmartincygnetc6622100520172229133_jpeg17bbbf2f71caa6166f250fb6123faa67 www.nairaland.com/attachments/7724289_astonmartincygnetc6622100520172229137_jpegb4fa09885f38f939d6ba47fd8d7bab10 It had similar specifications with the original Toyota, but with more leather, a hint of haughty elegance and more tea drinking gentlemen perusing the morning paper in tweed jackets. Not much to look at or enjoy, really. A rolls Royce horse is still a horse. ========================================= That is, until someone at Aston Martin had the bright idea to take the original 430 horsepower, 361 lb-ft of torque, 4.7 litre Aston Martin Vantage S engine, front and rear subframes,19-inch wheels, and quite beefy carbon fiber wheel arches, to create the one-off Aston Martin Cygnet V8. https://dmi3w0goirzgw.cloudfront.net/gallery-images/840x560/438000/200/438285.jpg https://dmi3w0goirzgw.cloudfront.net/gallery-images/840x560/438000/200/438284.jpg The cabin has a roll cage, but that’s the sacrifice the owner is willing to make to own the one-of-a-kind Cygnet with a Vantage heart. There’s carbon fiber just about everywhere, along with body-hugging Recaro racing seats and some controls inherited from the Vantage. https://dmi3w0goirzgw.cloudfront.net/gallery-images/840x560/438000/200/438273.jpg https://dmi3w0goirzgw.cloudfront.net/gallery-images/840x560/438000/200/438272.jpg https://dmi3w0goirzgw.cloudfront.net/gallery-images/840x560/438000/200/438286.jpg The result is an awesome 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 second masterpiece of carfection, a pocket rocket Bond himself would be envious of. Thankfully and unfortunately, this is a one-off, designed for a customer with a large imagination, and an even larger bank account. AUTOJOSH1:Igbo screwdriver? I don't understand that. Wow, so nairaland autocorrects flat_head to igbo? That's deeply offensive and tribalist. How would you feel if terrorist was autocorrected to Muslim? Both are tribal and ethnic denigrating slurs, and should not have any place in public discourse, much less officially being sanctioned. If the autocorrection was an attempt to defeat tribalism, then it failed woefully because it's even more tribalist and insulting than the original comments. This place has gone to the dogs

slivertongue:Quotes. Documentary 2 ...It was as if we were on a different planet... Everything was black... Mangroves were dead, the roots were in black water...It was apocalyptic... ...Turned out he was an extremely powerful and extremely successful individual. He had an escort, and he came in a police car, that was the level of protection he had... ...I took one look at him and thought, 'Oh my gosh, he cannot be in charge of anything. He was about mid twenties, didn't look like anything, and I thought, "How can he be running an Oil racket?"...

These deeply saddening stills from a documentary by VICE on the Niger Delta Struggle are hard to see. also, I know people like you that have been in the usa for 1 year and every 5 minutes they would say, here in the usa or here in canada and so on bro, you don't know anybody here. a lot of people here are also in the us and have been there for many years yet they don't make too much noise about it here because nairaland is not real life. if you know, you know |
gomez1only:unlike some other people here I don't actually have time to be doing argument with people like you if you want to continue please continue that argument with yourself and other people like you, the car was damaged all over the body, not only the hood, and you were aware that why you sharply deleted the comment initially if you want to tell lies and white lies about car to sell, please keep it up, I know people like thebigkendo and cosplay and others have time for people like you, so get ready for them |
kimaya:from your statement it is clear the kind of person you are, you are like a typical nigerian car dealer that would hide info about a car if it is negative so he can sell it to someone nigerians and criminality are like 1 and 2 |
kimaya:chief, if you don't understand the point the other posters are making then why don't you shut up and move on? I don't know who you are that u opened a new account just to post all this nonsense but I have to say, your posts reek of lack of understanding the point they have made is very good. The man knew the car was damaged and that's why he even pasted a chassis no that was not correct initially I have also seen many cars with bad damages but carfax would say no accident and autocheck would say collision but no accident I have checked the auction pics of this car and cosplay was right, according to the auction the car was in rollover type of accident, so i don't know what you and the dealer are here talking and making noise about from what I've understood so far, their point is very clear, don't give an impression that your car is clean with no damages yet you know the car had damages

well things seem to have calmed down here, besides the occasional jab by latecomers to the discussion, those ones are like those guys that always hang around after an event in nigeria for free booze and leftover meat the sage talking about uber in lagos should go read about uber in china. look beyond jinping's protectionist policies and you would understand why uber packed up and fled such a burgeoning market like I said before, what works in market a may not work in market b |
I'm back like Oliver Twist... JTEZU14R668055326 immense thanks |
radautoworks:i have to say, you come across as condescending we understand that there are ways of doing things that you're used to, you have your own habits and methods which have worked for you in the past in a totally different environment with different norms and a different culture don't assume that those exact methods would work for you in the same way in a totally different environment, "Standard" is very relative someone mentioned this earlier, I'll do so again, this now-personal back and forth has totally derailed the constructive discussion that I think was supposed to be the point of this thread you've made your point, gazzuzz you've made yours. the mature thing here would be for both of you to put an end to this degenerating situation, especially because I have the distinct feeling that there's more to this than just professional rivalry |
received! very grateful, you guys are doing a great job |
