Is it possible for me to have A direct admission MSC ( Masters of science) of any course?

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

1.To qualify for admission into any of the postgraduate programmes of the University, a candidate must meet, among others, all matriculation requirements of at least five (5) credit passes including English Language and Mathematics. Some programmes accept at least a pass in Mathematics.

2. For Postgraduate Diploma Programmes, Candidates must possess either a minimum of pass Bachelors Degree in any discipline from a University recognised by the Senate of the NOUN OR a Higher National Diploma with a minimum of Lower Credit. For the Postgraduate Diploma in Legislative Drafting, the candidate must have been called to the Bar. Also for admission into the school of Business and Human Resource Management Postgraduate Diploma programmes,

3. For Master degree programmes, candidates must possess either a Bachelors Degree with a minimum of second class lower in the relevant field of study from a University recongnised by the Senate of the NOUN. However, holders of lower classificationOR a Postgraduate Diploma in related field of study from a recongnised University.

Pls, i regst for project when registr fees ws reduce to 3k. But later, it ws change back to 40k. Since then, i ve -37000 balance on my portal which i kn is not an error.
Now am expectin my name on the graduation list. My question is can i pay into my portal now and if i pay 37000, wu the money deducted nd stand for balance of the 3k projct registration.

Before you make such payments, i would advise you to consult the school bursary.

Login now , click on ewallet and then select view wallet.

Go back to your dashboard, and if the Negative sign (-) still shows do it continuously

NOTE:
Dont pay any money in your portal when your wallet shows e.g -19000.

UPDATE ON CLEARANCE FOR FINALISTS


This is to inform all noun graduating students on the improvement of the newly approved noun graduation requirement and clearance timeline and/or timetable for the ongoing 2020 graduands clearance exercise and the noun convocation ceremony.


On this note, the Noun clearance exercise starts on Monday 9th of March, 2020 in all the study centres nationwide.


2020 NOUN Graduation Requirement


All graduating students are at this moment instructed to come along with the following documents for their clearance:

First thing first, your name must be found on the graduation list.

You are to fill the graduate exit survey form online, submit and print the form (with 3 Photocopies). http://researchandadvancement.nouedu.net/content/graduate-exit-survey


Three (3) printed copies of Noun clearance form.

Current E-wallets showing payments and expenditures and final balance.

Evidence of Registration of Project, Industrial Training (I.T), Field observation, Teaching Practice I & II, Clinical attachment, Practicum and Seminar through e-Wallet or Course Registration slip.

Evidence of Payment of N15,000 (Fifteen thousand Naira only) to the Noun participating banks for Convocation and registration fee (Through Remita website).


If you paid N10,000 for the project fee, you are to pay the remaining N5,000

If you paid N1,500 for your I.T, you must pay the remaining N8,500

If you can’t find evidence of payment of the above then you need to pay the total sum of N25,000 ( I.T and Project fee)


Ensure you make 3 copies of all payment receipts. Again, all the above payments are made via www.remita.net


Finally, students who can’t access their portal should kindly come with their evidence of payment for I.T and Project.


POINT TO NOTE: Negative balance (e.g – 4,000) in your Noun e-Wallet must be paid off before going for your clearance.


NOUN Bursary Clearance Procedure and Requirements

These are the requirements for NOUN bursary clearance exercise for final year students. It can only be done after a student must have been cleared for graduation and/or convocation but before the NOUN certificate collection. Here you have them:

Arrange your proof of payment (Remita receipt and Bank Teller)
Course Registration slip
Exam Registration slip
Comprehensive e-wallet statement

The above documents should be arranged in the order listed above, semester by semester.

Assigned days students should go to their study centre for the graduation clearance exercise and examination slip stamping.

Undergraduate Programmes
100 Level
Generally, the requirements for getting admission into the National Open University of Nigeria include five (5) credits in the SSCE/GCE O’Level/NECO/NABTEB or equivalents at not more than two (2) sittings obtained in subjects relevant to the proposed field(s) of study. The five (5) credits include Credits in Mathematics, English and 3 other relevant subjects. More details can be found under programmes. http://www.nou.edu.ng/programmes

200 Level
i) National Diploma at Upper Credit from recognized institutions.

ii) National Certificate in Education (NCE) in subject(s) relevant to the proposed programme of study with a minimum of one merit and two passes.

iii). International Baccalaureates, Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) with at least two ‘A’ Level papers in relevant subjects and pre-requisite number of ‘O’ Level credit passes.

Postgraduate Programmes
To qualify for admission into any of the postgraduate programmes of the University, a candidate must meet, among others, all matriculation requirements of at least five (5) credit passes including English Language and Mathematics. Some programmes accept at least a pass in Mathematics.

1. For Postgraduate Diploma Programmes, Candidates must possess either a minimum of pass Bachelors Degree in any discipline from a University recognised by the Senate of the NOUN OR a Higher National Diploma with a minimum of Lower Credit. For the Postgraduate Diploma in Legislative Drafting, the candidate must have been called to the Bar. Also for admission into the school of Business and Human Resource Management Postgraduate Diploma programmes, candidates with professional qualifications such as ACA, ACIS, ACIB, ACII, ACIA, etc may be considered on individual merit.

2. For Master degree programmes, candidates must possess either a Bachelors Degree with a minimum of second class lower in the relevant field of study from a University recongnised by the Senate of the NOUN. However, holders of lower classification and with a minimum of 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience may be considered on individual merit OR a Postgraduate Diploma in related field of study from a recongnised University OR A Higher National Diploma with a minimum of Upper Credit in the relevant field of study. Candidate with membership certificate of relevant professional bodies may apply for the Master of Business (MBA) programme.

3. For the Doctor of Philosophy Degree prorammes, candidates must possess a masters degree in relevant field of study from a University recongised by the Senate of the NOUN with a minimum score average of not less than 60% or a cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5 on a 5-point scale.
