Agriculture / Re: Agriculture Is Not The Magic Solution - By Simon Kolawole by Anthrophile(m): 12:40pm On Jun 17, 2017
Agriculture is multifaceted and can evolve. These attributes of agriculture have not been exploited by many African farmers. Tepidity i.e contentment with the status quo is what is relegating us in all areas in world affairs.

Romance / Re: Why do many ladies prefer a salary earner to a budding entrepreneur? by Anthrophile(m): 3:35pm On Jan 01, 2016
many ladies prefer a salary earner to a budding entrepreneur because of financial security. If an amount trickles in every month just enough for domesticity, they are okay with that. A budding entrepreneur is faced with many uncertainties ranging from turnover rate of his goods/services, managerial practices and integrity of his employees thus he might hit it big or crash out of business.

Religion / Re: Why Was The Book Of Enoch Removed From The Bible? by Anthrophile(m): 12:54pm On Dec 27, 2015
I agree that a lot of things about the Bible had been lost in antiquity, but the Bible is still relevant in our time. Jesus said the holyspirit will guide us into 'all' truth (John 16:13). All we need to do is to strive for a higher dimension of the holyspirit in our life and not seeking for some edited-out books of the Bible.

Too many guns out there in the hands of sickoes. Gun recovery programme should be launched in the state. I wonder why human lives should be taken just because they have different political views.

Agriculture / Re: Cashew Plantation Vs Palm Tree Plantation: Which Is More Profitable? by Anthrophile(m): 7:30pm On Jun 01, 2015
Palm plantation. proceeds from its products can sustain you year round. Imagine palm nuts, palm kernel oil and cake, fuel fibres, palm oil, broom sticks, palm wine, etc all at your beck and call. I tell you, your products will be needed by a wide range of people compared to what a cashew plantation can deliver.

Politics / Re: PDP Members Who Sabotaged Jonathan’s Ambition Will Be Exposed by Anthrophile(m): 5:29am On May 17, 2015
They would have stayed in power for sixty years as they had proclaimed, if they had selflessly delivered the dividends of democracy. They were intoxicated and blinded by the giddy height of political powers and the vast financial resources commited to them. They felt Nigerians were a bunch of non-thinkers, and that was to their peril. It had bitterly dawned on them that the voice of the masses is the voice of God. Ride on General Muhammadu Buhari, Long live APC, May Nigeria be greater.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Graduates Get Paid As Low As #6000 Per Month In Nigeria? by Anthrophile(m): 2:35pm On May 15, 2015
I was paid that amount at my former place of work. Lucky enough I had sent my CV to several organisations. The day I was called for interview by one of them, I was so excited that sleep eluded me. I was eventually taken. My former boss was angry that I was leaving but I was so happy.

the import of higher learning cannot be felt until you compare yourself to O' level or ND certificate holder; your approach, intellect, packaging and opportunities will differ. Though completing a 4 to 7-year course may not necessarily translate to earning more money, a schooled mind is an inestimable asset to you and your children.

@ lionphil, It depends on what you really want. If you want adventure you may go for NIS then depending on the department or decision of your senior officers, you are liable to stay in the state headquarter's office, rural local govt area office, boarder outpost or as a passport officer in one of the Nigerian embassies. You are also likely to be transferred often. You are on a long thing if any of these places do not favour you. Remember the number of NIS officers who lost their lives in Boko Haram onslaughts. If you prefer a quiet academic environment surrounded mostly by students, with prospects for further studies, supervising your building projects and business ventures yourself, as well as staying with your family and friends, the choice is yours to make.

I commend and salute those who are still corageous, positive and still in pursuit of NIS placement. I've been following these NIS trends right from the time of former CG Rose Uzoma and eventually became part of it but did not bother to re register my biodata for this present process. If a government is serious about employing the youths, will it do so at the tail end of its exit where the whole process can be overhauled by the incoming government? I am still optimistic about federal appointment anyway.

The best method is to shuffle students from JSS1 to SSS3 so that each classroom will contain students from JSS1 to SSS3 sitting for different subjects at the same time. Afterwards they will submit their exam papers separately.

If at all the NIS recruitment will be revisited, it will be after election which is about a month and a week away.
