It's ESN that went to Kogi and did it. Blame it all on Ipob.

Coronabirus:
Your moniker sounds a lot. Switching network is the best option to cut communication between their masters in towns and the killers in the bush. Many children and educated illiterates don't know anything about Rules of Engagement that is why they come out asking securities to kill any caught bandit without going through jurisdiction process. I have many military friends in army and the mass killings is very true, many bandits have been neutralised but the COAS warned them ahead of the full operation that "more action less noise"
With cut of network to avoid distraction already our biggest enemies like SERAP started making noise trying to depend the right of bandits in the name of applying RoE, very soon AI will come and berate army for killing bandits just like how they had problems with Buratai. Only fools will take human right groups serious in some battle ground.

What army said is an effort to uphold RoE:
“These operations are conducted in strict compliance with the rules of armed conflicts, utmost professional manner, strict adherence to rules of engagement and respect for fundamental human rights and dignity.
Na mumv dey follow z0mbie argue. My monicker says it all...so u know urself. Tell ur handlers say u no see me...because me no see you.
PoliticsRe: Umahi Challenges Wike To A Debate by AntiBMC(m): 10:22am On Sep 13, 2021
Is Umahi an animal, place or thing? Cos he's clearly not a sensible human being. If you want to lick a$$, do it without dragging others down with you. I mean, I don't hear Uzodimma making noise and calling out other southern governors, while he does it...and in the licking bizness, he is the best. Just saying.

When a country is being piloted by clueless f00ls, these are the kind of things that happen. Why ban importation of rice when the country is not ready to meet the demand of the population? Now rice is 4 times costlier than it used to be and people are starving. Rip to the officer, he was a victim of the system.

Typical of this Govt. Everything with them is force, except when it comes to Bokoharam terrorists/herdsmen. So because the striking doctors refused to budge, the fg has resorted to blackmail? Nawa.

And you are sure of this because you were within the vicinity where the "military onslaught" took place in Zamfara or what?
PoliticsRe: Army Disowns Pictures, Videos Of Mass Burials In Zamfara by AntiBMC(m):
It's the army that's fake, not the reports.
Nigeria no longer has an army, what is there now, are Fulani terrorists in nigerian army uniforms.

That's why they shut down telecomm, so that reports will not get out, while they enable their terr0rist brothers kill southern soldiers and Zamfara indigenes.

Oh...such a terrible nation with lying failures occupying everywer. So bandits are killing soldiers like chickens yet they have the time to spin the stories. What's worse is that the so-called police is in the East, killing innocent people and tagging them Esn terrorists...but d real terr0rists in the north are having fun, untouched.
The country will definitely go up in flames.

PoliticsRe: VAT Row: FIRS Workers Fear Cut In Salaries, Bonuses by AntiBMC(m): 8:48pm On Sep 12, 2021
Modrov:
That's the problem...there is

1. Alcohol....VAT could be paid at different rates, some high, some low, where alcohol is consumed. At the end of the day, alcohol would be expensive in some states, and even more expensive in others...or the beer companies like Guiness, NB and Heineken and CB, increase beer prices across the board.
You know, that's why there's a need for a price regulatory body that would ensure companies, their distributors and wholesalers don't just up and increase prices anyhow they wish. Besides, im sure the competition in the market wouldn't let them hike prices of their goods unceremoniously.

Modrov:
Then there is the problem of VAT being paid on beer bought wholesale in Enugu and sold in FCT Abuja...meaning a beer drinker in Abuja would be paying higher than one in Enugu .
In this case, beer companies most definitely have their depots situated in every state, they have distributors/suppliers who wouldn't need to pay any VAT, the drinks would be brought to them in their various States and they sell. So I don't see why anyone would leave the depots in Abuja and go to Enugu to buy the beer

Modrov:
2.Bread. Flour would be subject to VAT...and when it is made int bread...bread could be subject to VAT...AS WELL...meaning that bread prices could go up.

And a host of other products...like grains, semovita, etc etc.....
This is based on assumptions.
You are assuming that flour, cereals etc presently exempted from VAT, would be subjected to it. I'm assuming that just d way d FG exempted some products, State govts can do same; even better, add to the exemption list.

Modrov:
And at the end of the day, VAT would be collected on the same thing in three states=triple taxation.
All I'm saying is, you never know how something would turn out until you try it. The problem is and has always been corruption. If only there can be steadfast regulatory bodies, things won't be so bad.
PoliticsRe: Many Bandits, Ringleader Arrested In Intense Military Raids [photos] by AntiBMC(m): 7:59pm On Sep 12, 2021
Stvpid terr0rists with fake news. They kill young men in the East and brandish their bodies for the world to see but when they "kill" bandits, we no dey see evidence. See how the so-called arrested bandits are moving freely with soldiers. If not for d uniforms, it would be hard to tell d terrorists from the soldiers. Fools deceiving themselves.

PoliticsRe: VAT Row: FIRS Workers Fear Cut In Salaries, Bonuses by AntiBMC(m): 7:36pm On Sep 12, 2021
Modrov:
The worrisome thing about this your scenairo is that

1.It could lead to multiple taxation.Under the new arrangement, Lagos is collecting VAT on the profits MTN earns in Nigeria, since MTN's HQ is located in Lagos, while Sokoto is again collecting VAT from MTN operations in its domain....meaning MTN can end up, theoretically, paying tax twice (unless MTN pays VAT on calls made in Lagos...which means Lag gets a reduction in the estimated amount they were expecting to collect in VAT. The same thing happens for other network providers.)

2.If Sokoto is not earning enough VAT from MTN consumption in its domain, it could increase the VAT a la true federalism since he who collects taxes also controls how much he pays...which will be passed on by MTN to the consumer in the form of 'high prices'

And as happens in Sokoto, it happens in other states too. A time could come where states increase VAT on MTN calls made in their state (and then there is the fun bit about calls made between states and to overseas).just to get extra money....either way MTN will pass the cost to us in the form of high prices.

We had this problem with right of way for telecom cables...where some states wanted to charge the earth vs some other states.
I see ur point but I believe you are only considering Telecom companies. Telecom is not the only source of VAT, I'd like to think that in different States,
there are other companies/services that pay taxes, where the scenario you painted isn't applicable.

So yea, you might be right but everything has its pros and cons. What matters is that at the end of the day, we make choices where the pros would outweigh the cons. And in this case, States collecting their VAT is a better choice.
PoliticsRe: Police Raid IPOB/ESN Camp, Kill Commander 'Dragon', 3 Others by AntiBMC(m): 4:45pm On Sep 12, 2021
Believe these upcoming Abba Kyaris at ur own peril. Liars from the pit of hell. If soldiers can pay ransom to terrorists, begging them to release their friend...then anything is possible in Nigeria.

In essence, the army and the police are weak against anyone with weapons and strong when it comes to armless civilians. So if they indeed killed pple in Imo, they were not ESN members.

PoliticsRe: VAT Row: FIRS Workers Fear Cut In Salaries, Bonuses by AntiBMC(m): 4:28pm On Sep 12, 2021
supportnija:
How would the state collect their own VAT? If I buy N100 MTN recharge card in sokoto, my VAT is N1 which at the end of the month FIRS go to the MTN to collect this N1 in the head office in lagos. If VAT is going to start , it means , it should be calculate according to state consumption not according to present of the head office, you will see that, Lagos and rivers may ended up getting nothing. My problem with some of you is that your sentiment have overide you judgement
Oga, if you are in Sokoto, ur VAT will be charged there. There are millions of MTN users in various States, same with other telecom networks. So if everyone pays his/her VAT in state he/she resides, I don't see how Lagos and Rivers with their huge population, will end up getting nothing. So in essence, it's either u didn't read what you wrote up there, or you are the sentimental one.

Well they have to adjust cos change is constant, and unlike the yeye change Bulhari promised in 2015, this change spearheaded by Wike is good.

Every state should collect its VAT. Not d one that Kano will destroy people's alcohol businesses and still, collect the VAT for the alcohol. That's an injustice.

They just officially named anambra an oil-producing State. When a master gives his dog a bone, the dog will always want to show gratitude. So that's the case of the drunkard governor, who married his secretary after she killed his wife. Such a man can never be satiated, even if he is given the world.
