SpreshMan: I recently got conditional offers from most schools in the Uk, one is starting in May and I have also deferred one to the September but my mind wants to go for the one in May.
However the kinds of arguments I read online about whether or not Japa is worth has got me confused.
I know about minimum wage being about 12-15 pounds and maximum of 20 hours per week, I know work visa after graduation has been reduced to 18 months and even the condition for ILR being extended last year.
So I’m seeking advise from people would be Honest whether it would be worth it to spend around 21 million to embark on this journey and still have a debt of close to 10 million naira since I’m paying half of the school fees. Will it be worth it ?
Are the people preaching against japa being honest ? why not Australia or It worst Canada? |

Okealaaye: This girl should not involve herself in the age-long and groundless Igbo-Yoruba feud. Groundless? Why? The Igbo have always been a most welcomed people in Yorubaland and we've always lived together in peace. This is because the things that unite us are much more uncountable than the "thing" that divides us. Everywhere, all reasonable people know that the quest for power, aka politics, is the Great Divider of peoples and their communities. The Igbo are one of the Nigerian ethnicities that share a lot with us the Yoruba. Nigeria should derive mechanisms of intergroup relations to manage our diversities like some other countries, instead of emphasising our fault lines and divisions during every election cycle. The youths of Nigeria should come together, not to join the ancients in their needless rat race in which the gladiators don't remember them after the battle is won, but to fashion out the means by which their mutual futures can be guaranteed if indeed, the future belongs to them. The present squabbles do not concern them, as it were, because if we give it the right thought we would know that the youths are mere cannon fodders. So Chimamanda must not allow anyone to drag her into a needless war with a person with whom she shares so much in common than any other person in the world, except perhaps her parents and siblings. So if I were Chimamanda I would not react to Soyinka's words, but then she isn't me! With all these English, you made no point. |

Lagos is a product of more than 100 years in the making and THE FCT from 1960-1991, Anambra was only created in 1991. no logical person will expect anambra to become like Lagos overnight or become like London in just 8years. Before tinubu became the governor of lagos state, lagos was already considered one of the finest and richest cities in Africa even before tinubu became the governor. (Lagos already had international economic boosting infrastructures like airports, seaports, major road networks, football stadiums and many others even before tinubu became the governor of lagos state). Lagos was actually the former FCT. before OBI became the governor of Anambra state, Anambra never had things like an -airport or seaport Anambra never even had basic things like - a teaching hospital - not even a government secretariat, a government house or a government office, ( can you imagine that?) ? - not even a functioning government school ( the children has been home for two years without school in Anambra). - Anambra was owing a pension debt of #35b - Anambra had the worst security in Nigeria that was the kind of state OBI inherited so we can not compare him with tinubu who inherited a state that was the former FCT, a lagos state that was already considered one of the finest and richest in Africa even before tinubu became the governor. OBI transformed Anambra, OBI built -The first teaching hospital -The first government secretariat -Save the money that was used to build the first airport in Anambra - restored education in Anambra, taking it from number 26 to number one in Nigeria - cleared the pension debt of #35b he inherited - never owed any worker salary or pension as at the time he was living office - Anambra was eventually declared the safest state in Nigeria during PETER OBI by the then inspector general of police . - during PETER OBI Anambra was eventually declared the state with the highest road network by the federal ministry of works. These are facts on groud. With all that and many more ACHIEVEMENTS, OBI never borrowed. Have you imagined what would have happened if OBI inherited a state like lagos as tinubu did? OBI IS TRULY A GOLD A vote for Obi will change Nigeria forever. Be on the right side of history. copied. |

CoronaVirusRelo: So commissioning a bridge has become an achievement worth celebrating!
Hello Obidients! Even if Peter commissions Heaven, he still won’t become President!
You lots need to displace your emotions and face reality squarely!
Somethings are impossible in life! The adage that says “Nothing is impossible” is used to deceive the foolish!
Just look at how you lots are celebrating bridge commissioning?
It would have been a better celebration if Kwankwanso or Atiku had decamped to Labour Party! But look LL at how low Obidients have gotten to! Celebrating bridge
If it was by how many infrastructures aspirants have commissioned, His Excellence, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will still lead the pack by exponential margins!
Let it be known, that their is no way in Heaven and on Earth that a political minion like Peter, will stand a chance against a demigod like Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Booked, lets see what will happen |
