Okealaaye:
This girl should not involve herself in the age-long and groundless Igbo-Yoruba feud. Groundless? Why? The Igbo have always been a most welcomed people in Yorubaland and we've always lived together in peace. This is because the things that unite us are much more uncountable than the "thing" that divides us. Everywhere, all reasonable people know that the quest for power, aka politics, is the Great Divider of peoples and their communities. The Igbo are one of the Nigerian ethnicities that share a lot with us the Yoruba. Nigeria should derive mechanisms of intergroup relations to manage our diversities like some other countries, instead of emphasising our fault lines and divisions during every election cycle. The youths of Nigeria should come together, not to join the ancients in their needless rat race in which the gladiators don't remember them after the battle is won, but to fashion out the means by which their mutual futures can be guaranteed if indeed, the future belongs to them. The present squabbles do not concern them, as it were, because if we give it the right thought we would know that the youths are mere cannon fodders. So Chimamanda must not allow anyone to drag her into a needless war with a person with whom she shares so much in common than any other person in the world, except perhaps her parents and siblings. So if I were Chimamanda I would not react to Soyinka's words, but then she isn't me!

With all these English, you made no point.

Lagos is a product of more than 100 years in the making and THE FCT from 1960-1991, Anambra was only created in 1991.

no logical person will expect anambra to become like Lagos overnight or become like London in just 8years.

Before tinubu became the governor of lagos state, lagos was already considered one of the finest and richest cities in Africa even before tinubu became the governor.

(Lagos already had international economic boosting infrastructures like airports, seaports, major road networks, football stadiums and many others even before tinubu became the governor of lagos state). Lagos was actually the former FCT.

before OBI became the governor of Anambra state, Anambra never had things like an
-airport or seaport
Anambra never even had basic things like
- a teaching hospital
- not even a government secretariat, a government house or a government office,
( can you imagine that?)?
- not even a functioning government school
( the children has been home for two years without school in Anambra).
- Anambra was owing a pension debt of #35b
- Anambra had the worst security in Nigeria

that was the kind of state OBI inherited so we can not compare him with tinubu who inherited a state that was the former FCT, a lagos state that was already considered one of the finest and richest in Africa even before tinubu became the governor.

OBI transformed Anambra, OBI built
-The first teaching hospital
-The first government secretariat
-Save the money that was used to build the first airport in Anambra
- restored education in Anambra, taking it from number 26 to number one in Nigeria
- cleared the pension debt of #35b he inherited
- never owed any worker salary or pension as at the time he was living office
- Anambra was eventually declared the safest state in Nigeria during PETER OBI by the then inspector general of police .
- during PETER OBI Anambra was eventually declared the state with the highest road network by the federal ministry of works.
These are facts on groud.

With all that and many more ACHIEVEMENTS, OBI never borrowed.

Have you imagined what would have happened if OBI inherited a state like lagos as tinubu did?

OBI IS TRULY A GOLD
A vote for Obi will change Nigeria forever. Be on the right side of history.

Just look at how you lots are celebrating bridge commissioning?

It would have been a better celebration if Kwankwanso or Atiku had decamped to Labour Party! But look LL at how low Obidients have gotten to! Celebrating bridge grin

If it was by how many infrastructures aspirants have commissioned, His Excellence, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will still lead the pack by exponential margins!

Let it be known, that their is no way in Heaven and on Earth that a political minion like Peter, will stand a chance against a demigod like Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

I was in Anambra throughout Peter Obi's tenure, It wasn't a magic as we Nigerians always expect. I was angry that he didn't build roads in his first tenure but he was busy facing education and other things. It was his second tenure that Anambra became the most interconnected state in Nigeria. Peter is the best thing that will happen to Nigeria. He is a man that does what we benefit the masses nomatter any big man it will affect. I have been in the southeast all my life and I know how all this started. Unknown gunmen were created to justify proscribing of IPOB and another group is killing security forces for with happened in 2016. Another third group said there should be no roadblocks in the southeast of security agencies, this ones are killing security forces in checkpoints.

cheesy When was this interview made, this was before the creation of ESN, the armed wing of IPOB.

From 2014 up till 2019 IPOB was peaceful

Show me an interview of Peter Obi stance from 2020 after the creation of ESN.

Meanwhile Atiku is coming

Reno is just stupid, federal govt rushed and proscribed IPOB who was not violent as at that time. Security forces open fire and killed many peaceful protesters and the leaders decided to create armed part of it. After creating ESN, every crime in the southeast is now attributed to ESN. They are doing everything to justify proscribing of IPOB. Nomatter the propaganda, if God says it will be Peter , he will definitely win.

Politics / If You Can't Vote For An Igbo Man... by antontech(m): 9:09pm On Sep 23, 2022
I have seen a video where a pastor was encouraging Yorubas to vote for Tinubu and another one where a northerner is asking northerners to vote for Atiku. Igbos voted for Abiola, Obasanjo, Atiku and Yaradua. Now we want to vote our son and we are now tagged tribalistic people. You tag him Biafra President.

Igbos are the most untribalistic in Nigeria, they will come to your city, buy land, build shops, build houses, even contribute money to construct roads. There have been many records of affluent Igbo people building roads in other parts of the country. And they still pay taxes in all this places. Yet all they get is constant threats especially from some prominent Yorubas.

You said Igbos were looking for Biafra before and now Obidient and I ask how many Yorubas condemned Sunday Igboho or other groups campaigning for oduduwa republic? But u want Igbos to condemn Nnamdi Kanu.

I have analysed previous presidential results and will tell you categorically that Buhari won because of Yorubas. Osibanjo was added on the ticket and you all start singing praises for Buhari not minding his previous antecedents as a president.

We are here again and some Yorubas are pushing Tinubu as the Messiah while forgetting it was the same Tinubu that went round promising Nigerian that Bubu will create heaven for us. They are not considering his health and age even with wat we went through with Yaradua and Buhari's health. If there is Oduduwa republic, will you allow Tinubu to be your leader?

If Yorubas should only vote for a Yoruba indegene and Northerners should only vote for a northerner, why don't this country be divided and let everyone go their separate ways.
