I no believe those scan. DH took me on Saturday to one place around Oshodi they call Clinix for a scan. He asked them whether na 3D, they said yes. We paid and we found out na 1D scanner...my gestational moved by 2 weeks...Baby now weighing 1.7kg. EDD moved from 12th to 4th Jan. Baby will be big..the sonographer screamed.
I became a shadow of myself..I no sleep that night..I wan die inside Google..no explanation.
On Tuesday, I went to my hospital and they scanned the baby and it was normal week e suppose be and baby weighed 1.45 which is ok for the gestational age. Abeg i will aadvise you don't give yourself headache..

Why I tend to think it's true is cos all through previous scans at different places, weight has consistently been on the bigger side. My last scan before this placed me at 40 weeks this week, and this says 41. I just hope they're all wrong sha, I kent shout.
I'll just rest my mind and not let it bother me sha

I was 41weeks gone when dr did it without any sign of labour. that was on a Wednesday around after 4pm or so. by 11:06 that night contraction started. I delivered the next day at 6:57am.

Lmao No be small thing jare. Since I came home, I'm always unclad in my room, and she's the only one who enters without knocking. The first time she met me unclad, she almost jumped back out.
I told her I don't wear clothes in my husband's house and she was like, doesn't my husband get scared seeing me unclad like this?

Today at the hospital, the doctor who scanned me was the same doctor who delivered me from my mum many years ago
When he was checking for the head, I had to pull down very well, like my hoohaa was practically outside Na there shame catch me, but the man no even send. He still dey see me as the small pikin wey he deliver that year

The following day after I got home, was gisting with mum and dad in my room, and i was unclad, but with a wrapper covering me. I didn't know when I peeled off the wrapper from my breast with my dad still there o Na suddenly I remember say man dey my room quickly cover up. He no even send me

If na my mama, I no send, na she go fear

Why didn't the Dr do membrane sweep for you?
Since mom is a nurse, you could ask her to do for you.
It helped me during my first delivery. I was a day late to EDD so the Dr did the membrane sweep on Thursday (ANC day) and I fell into labour on Sunday and gave birth 1am Monday morning to a baby of 4.5kg through VD.
Yes you can do it.
Be positive and keep praying to God.

Cappo, you know scan can lie atimes. Your baby may not be as big as that eventually. Don't worry, labor will soon start. Try exercises and dancing, it might work too.

cappo u gat no qualms. This was how I went for scan at 36 weeks according to LMP & scan measured 39 weeks with 4.3 kg. The next day I pick race go see my gyny, he laughed it off & told me to ignore the weight aspect that he is so sure baby no reach like that. When I delivered at 37 week just a week after, baby weighed 3.8kg & my gyny was like shei i told u...

It is well dear. If to say hubby dey I for say make u try kpekus but has he no dey try and drink zoo that was what helped me. I drank small zobo on Sunday, kpekus on Monday morning I started contracting after the thing. So drink zobo, eat pineapples, stimulate ur tips too it helps.

I wish! I'm at mumsy's and hubby has travelled back for some urgent stuff. I wish lo could even come before Monday that he's due to return.

It was good o, how body? Wish I could go in for elective cs but mumsy and my dh get the same mind. They see no reason for it, at least not now.

Praise God for all team November that have put to bed. We're grateful to God for the journey so far, no sad news recorded. And we shall not record any. Amen. To the remaining November waddling mamas, it will end in praise.


Rant Time!
I was at the hospital today and scan was saying I'm 41 weeks already!
I have since been working with my LMP and earliest scan for accuracy, and I still have like 2 weeks by that...
But scan recorded post date for me today

Plus, my baby is on the big side Baby is said to be measuring 4.1kg
And no imminent sign of labour yet

The head is fully engaged, in fact, doc had to press down on my hoohaa to locate baby's head.
How do I make labor start biko?!! This pikin is just there chopping up, despite all my weight control measures

I'm not tired of the pregnancy o, just scared of the increasing weight. Wetin I go do ooo?!

All glory be to Abba Father. I was delivered of a bouncing baby girl yesterday through elective CS at 12.25 pm. Her weight was 3.1 kg at 37.2 weeks according to LMP. Baby, mum, dad and sis all doing great. Please rejoice with me.

Thanks a lot. Wanted waiting till weekend but mumsy was worried I would give birth on the road. So I'm going today. Bag's packed, just waiting for hubby to take permission from work so we can set off.

Please get one quickly. A digital thermometer is about 1k or less. It gives you a better idea of fever and you can then take a decision on managing it. Any good pharmacy near you should have one. What you feel with your hand as very hot may be nothing and vice versa. Welldone new mama
