Hello fam! Where it says passport pages of your passport, should I upload only the passport data page or all the pages in my passport including passport data page ?

Hello fam! Just a quick question. I printed my bank statement on the 7th of August (last week Thur) and I submitted my application yesterday being the 9th of August (Saturday). However, my biometrics is on the 15th of August being Friday. Should I print another bank statement because of gap from 7th Aug that it was printed to 15th August i.e biometric date?

You do not know the extent of information required of the board. Everyone who practices for 2 years or more is likely to have additional documents with the board other than basic entry level initial licensing requirements. Continuing education credit, additional certifications etc which are not domicile with that individual’s educational institution but the board.
During verification, total disclosure is expected. All these documents must be gathered and forwarded to the foreign body.
It’s not just attestation as you would assume. It takes a lot of man hours to put all these formation together. And someone has to pay for this additional work load.
Believe me, if before now they were process about 10 monthly, the Japa effect has made that figure times 100. Let’s be fair, they do not have unlimited resources to carter for this increase.

Let me start by saying that processing the verification isn’t free. I did verification 2 years ago, it was almost 70k. Then dollar was 540. Registration with WCEA is $150 just for the certificates. Then additional 40k naira for processing and forwarding the renewed licence. Council rakes in tonnes of money, but all they do is instead of advocating for nurses they victimize them. I’m privy of the verification steps so when you say gathering of all the documents, do you realize that they have gone digital, through their portal. You can now verify, register, request for any information. All they have to do is pull up your data from their system and answer the questionnaire online and email back the form to the foreign council. Well nobody wants to do the job that they are paid for once there is no kick back. Finally, their stringent policy has nothing to do with man power rather they want to stop the emigration of nurses.

Not just email. They still need to obtain official transcript from the schools and the school will still charge money for that. Sometime, they have to physically obtain these transcripts. Pay transportation to any part of the country where the school is domiciled

That’s not how it work. The foreign council is asking them to verify that you are whom you claim are eg if you are registered in your home country to avoid fake certificates, any malpractice, conviction etc. The NMCN here in Nigeria administers those exams so they have your records before issuing of pin. Furthermore, you are responsible for submitting your transcript via your school at a stage in your registration and it has nothing to do with NMCN. The verification process is more like attestation. Get your facts right!

Where do they expect the board to get the resources to handle the immense number of verification request these days due to the Japa syndrome?
All the paper work and documentation involved in verification take up a lot of time that could be used for other official business tasks.

Resources? Do you know how much they charge for these verifications ? Not like they have to send physical copies. They only send them through emails. The amount they charge for verification is more than what other nursing bodies in other countries charge, but that’s a topic for another day.

The one you have has not expired and can be used. Its only better if you have a recent if its possible.

The rule is :
1. You MUST have kept your Maintenance fund in your account for 28 days prior to submitting your Visa Application.
2. The period between the 28th day of your Statement and the date of Visa Application MUST NOT be more than 31 days also.

What if am not able to get an updated one due to time constraint. Can I still go ahead with the one I have with me now? Or is it expired?

Good day house! I have a quick question. My statement of account is from 09/06/2023 to 13/07/2023. That’s the statement of account I submitted to school and got my CAS. My biometric is on the 4th of August. Can I still upload the same statement of account or should I print another one with a closing date of yesterday?

From my experience with that, those dates you are selecting are no longer available but it will still be showing on the dashboard.

I think after trying 3 times with the otp issue. Tls puts a hold on your account and the only solution is to do walk in. Any idea ?

I think you should close your browser, go back to your application sign in link and click provide biometrics again. since you are not going for PS click ok to the next and pick the day you want

I have cleared browser couple of times and tried it again. I can’t still see dates nor proceed to checkout. I sent you a message.

Please I need help house! I was on tls site, selected priority, express courier and prime time for my appointment date. Went to checkout, paid for the priority service, I put the address for courier, got to payment for tls value added services. My bank didn’t send me the code on time and I pressed cancel. It brought me back to book appointment and I can’t pass the stage anymore. Can’t even see appointment dates, the dashboard says no appointment date selected.
