I have a question o. A friend of mine who just passed out of Nysc wants to apply for study permit. She got a job before Pop and has resumed consequently. Now she wants to apply for trv. is it better she apply as an unemployed or employed? She planned submitting her application by January and I have seen on this forum once that one must be atleast a year in his/her work place before someone could apply for study leave. Please advice

She only needs to submit her employment details which includes employment letter,pay slips,letter of academic leave etc they serve as home ties... its never started that one must be a year in his/her work place b4 applying ok.

Apply to the same sch for the two different courses, u might be lucky to land the the both and as well to different schs for the two different courses,u will use the course that is related to ur work 2 apply for visa,then when u get there u can now change to ur choice course...on the part of tuition is nt compulsory that u must pay ur tuition b4 applying for visa unless if bin requested by cic...as paying ur tuition does not guarantee one a visa...guess u understand now.

I doubt the possibility of u gaining admission in two different programs in the same sch...just apply to two different schs then transfer to ur choice sch and course when u get there.

@ ada4all....You shuld go for admission in a course currently related to ur work,maybe Masters/PGD in Administration/Accountancy related courses,when u get over there u can change over to ur choice of course(IT).Thanks

I called back the number and it was speaking all these whity whity things.. kinda voice note...even showed a friend that has gone thru this b4,he simply told me that the number that called me was from embassy,whether I made any visa application? and the time of the call was exactly 8am..just curious, cos I'm surprised never heard of it in this forum...i'm believing God for a positive news.

they called wt a landline,applied on 21st of Oct Conestoga College Online route.

House,i saw 5 missed calls from the embassy this mrng around 8am...called bk buh they weren't picking and hvnt called bk...don't know if any one has been called b4 from embassy...i'm astonished cos I have not even been told to go for med..

Welcome 2 the e-fam 'delayed' means 'refused' buh here we don't use the word refused...and once delayed no matter how long it took,means the person hv 2 start a new visa application.

Hello house. My formal admission letter was delivered to me yesterday. The admission is for Winter 2015. However the letter came with another letter for the embassy stating that they should give me visa quickly to be able to attend class by january. Is this letter a regular letter that comes with all LoAs or do you think it will make my visa application to be treated as a special case. I am asking because I am planing to defer the admission to Fall 2015 because of the time it takes to apply for and get the visa. But if the letter will make my application to be treated as a special case I can apply before the end of this month. Pls what do u think.

The X wey them mark for the boxes plenty pass Zoro own. . Seems the VO was high on something when he was reviewing my app. I don't understand how he can tick the box saying I don't have funds to pay for the tuition fee when I attached the receipt of full payment for the two semesters.
Does anyone know if there is a need for revalidation of receipt upon defferal of admission? Not like am refiring, am just curious.

hmmm.... So I was in a training all day. Phones on silence and no internet. The training finished by 5:15pm and I saw 3 missed calls. My mind went straight to CIC. I rushed to my mail box and saw a mail from them. It directed me to my portal and I saw:

well i think its high time i do this,some of u knew how it all started with my quest for getting The most wanted TRV, i was delayed twice d first was April 17th 2014 for summer session 2014 nd reason was insufficient funds,nd wid soa closing bal #40million proof of business income nt establish,relationship with sponsor nt established (paper route)

then my second app july 9th 2014 nd the only reason for delay was that my custodian was far from my intent place of study ( can u guys imagine hmmm)well nw no need for custodian again sha (online route)

then the third app nd d last submitted docs:
application forms.
letter of acceptance from uni of manitoba.
waec result
soa of my uncle (sponsor). had to redo anoda one, same acc bt nw wid a closing bal of #8m
letter from the bank .
letter from my sponsor
proof of relationship with my mum's birth cert nd marriage cert showing same surname
proof of income reciept, business registeration,business certificate vouchers,receitp of payments of goods from china nd delivery papers.

nd gave the app to the V.O of all vo's GOD lol nw smiling wid my trv
submitt app sept 5th.
Biometric 10th sept
medical call oct 23rd
medical done oct 30th
medicals passed nov 4th
pp request to approval 5th nd 10th

@ SantohFilz ur documents are quite ok...I believe the problem is from this two things 1.source of income~200k per month can't amount 2 that amount in ur mum's account,its even stated on the Canadian embassy checklist paragraph 4 I guess,if ur source of income does nt tally wt the amount in ur SOA it will lead to refusal or delay with the reason "Insufficient fund"so u have 2 add proofs of other businesses that ur mum runs... 2.No of dependants is another factor cos the VO will reason that u have siblings that are still dependants to ur mum,equating it to the amount in ur SOA,so in your sponsorship letter u shuld write the number of siblings that u have and what they are doing presently even add there contact details ok...In addition,u shuld add ur uncle's SOA as a co sponsor wt a notarized sponsorship letter,also add police character report and ur mum's birth cert.this time around,with fasting and prayer ok...i believe wt this u are good 2 go..you will soon smile ok!Goodluck bro.

You shuld write how he got the money whether it's from his monthly allocation,constituency project money,contract,business,positions held previously and presently...etc,When u look @ his SOA from his transactions u can deduce what to prove in ur SOP and Letter of sponsorship,cos most at times they can't even prove their source of income to be static.goodluck bro!

Goodmrng! Sure u can wt the USA visa stamp on ur passport it will be an added advantage in terms of travel history...u can visit as a tourist just go to cic website and see their requirements...Ogas in the house can shed more light on this.thanks

There are some documents that are necessary which u must provide others are supplementary,u have list the documents u submitted,with that we can make an input on the things u shuld add relating them to reasons they gave for the delay,as for how soon u can apply depends on ur deferment.Thanks

Appeal is not the best bet bro!..you need to take those items listed as the reason for the delay one by one,any one u're treating alwaz put urself in the position of the VO and provide put the documents that will rightly ans any question that the VO might raise,make sure u block loopholes,as for travel history since you havnt travel out b4,there is nothing u can do abt it,just pray...then since ur sch is starting in jan 15 its already late for u to reapply now,just defer the admission and take time to repackage for refiring...my ogas in the house can alwaz add to this,its well bro!

it took me 4k to do it,dint waste time within 1hr I collected it,the thing there is that it has no fixed price,depends on ur bargaining power,can link u up with the inspector that helped me,anyday u re ready let me know so I can link u up wt him..u will only need 2 go there wt a photocopy of ur international passport and also with an ordinary passport.

You can go online and check living expenses for your province.

As started www.nigeria.gc.ca...in addition to the cost of tuition,you should have atleast CAD$10,000 available to cover ur living expenses,an additional minimum requirement of CAD$4,000 must be added if ur spouse or partner is accompanying the student,as well as CAD$3,000 per accompanying child or accompanying dependant.u can also make reference to application for study permit checklist.thanks

Oboy cic don reach Oct 27th...9 days interval...God I need an 11th hour miracle!
