PoliticsRe: Buhari And Obasanjo's Tenure More Corrupt Than GEJ Tenure - TI by anwo247: 11:01am On Feb 13, 2015
The best way of fighting corruption is not arrest. It is simply the old rule of PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE.

GEJ has bn on point here. Corruption in nigeria is so vast that no government can eliminate it in 4 years. Ofcourse GMB with F9 in mathematics will certainly be confused for all his tenure.

Guy I'm not talking about constitution or what not. this letter is a damn forgery. just like the ABU medical report. just imagine, someone brought you a threat letter, you receive it with your stamp and you didn't arrest the person that delivered it.

by the way, is it your own copy that you stamp or the acknowledgment? that means the letter was brought by an insider.

chai!! seeliaaarz
So if the letter was delivered through security post or letterbox, how wld you have known the content? Even when you know, how do you acquire the power to arrest? Are you police? At no point do you have power to place the law enforcement authority into your own hands. You can only report to the police and any necessary security agency.

See, let me tell you. I have been a member of some Islamic youth group. on the letter head, the name of the association is written boldly in Arabic. the English is written under and maybe their motto could be either in English or arabic. if the arabic text is wht we go by, then it is a motto which cannot come first in the letterhead. apart from that, that text has nothing to do with youth so what is the link? or do you think peoplx just choose mottos for the fun of it?
Nigeria is a country based on constitution and we don't care about your Islamic ingenuity

Buhari is missing the point! No matter the system a leader is judged by the choices they make in office. So yes Buhari's 1984 record is an indication of what he will do now.

But it is clear for all to see that even Buhari is not proud of Buhari's records in 1984 and yet this man does not have the courage to say sorry to Nigerians!
My brother God will bless you. Was OBJ not milatary head of state? Was Gowon not military head of state? What about Muritala Muhammed? IBBhuh He (Buhari) is wicked man and that is it. So based on what record does he want us to judge him? 2015 to 2019 record? Very daft to the marrow.

Please don't cast Jonathan in the garb of a great leader. Buhari's strongest supporters are in the SW and SS. Please how is that for smartness that the so called sophisticated south had fewer people showing interest in the Presidency? The north is more intelligent than you and actually had five presidential candidates showing interest in the presidency in the two serious political parties. The South only had one Good luck Jonathan so when tribalism has finished playing with your mind maybe you will reason properly.

So let me give you some education.
Jonathan is not important. He is only one person but there are 170million Nigerians. We have seen him speak and act so I am sure at least 60% of these 170million Nigerians would make better presidents than Jonathan and you know that as well if your IQ is at least average.
So it sas all about luck and what God has planned for every person. God has done his bit but Jonathan has messed up his own opportunity and now Nigerians are well within rights to boot him out. Jonathan is not important at all. I walked past a nursery school today and saw little kids with school bags and lunch boxes looking at life with trust and hope, depending on us to make the right choices for their futures. No my friend Jonathan is not important, he has gotten his chance, tried with railways and agric, stolen a lot of money but he has to go. It is very simple. Those nursery school kids have to live and thrive and they are depending on is.

The northerners dont owe Jonathan anything, dont like him and don't want him. Pure and simple. Any asking about whys and wherefores is just unnecessary vexation of spirit. They are not going to vote for him. And they should not be expected to like him, unemployment is 80% amongst youths, Boko Haram is killing their kids and recruiting the remaining and it is getting alarming. The northerners accuse Jona of sponsoring Boko Haram or at least being weak on it as an ethnic cleansing program. Please tell me as an intelligent being who understands people different from his own culture why they should support their enemy.

You are being parochial and locally minded in your post and maybe it is the same glasses that the under exposed Jonathan has been looking at Nigeria with. That is why he would be handing over to his opponent soon.
Another long nonsense.

Technically you are wrong.

Stating in his affidavit that his documents were with the military board and the military in their rush to ridicule one of theirs made the terrible mistake of admitting that they had a 'document' from his principal recommending him for military service.

This actually can no longer be perjury as indeed the military board do at least have a document of his school attendance.
Remember school certificate or its equivalent is -

(a) a Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent, or Grade II Teacher’s Certificate, the City and Guilds Certificate; or

(b) education up to Secondary School Certificate level; or

(c) Primary Six School Leaving Certificate or its equivalent and -

(i) service in the public or private sector in the Federation in any capacity acceptable to the Independent National Electoral Commission for a minimum of ten years, and

(ii) attendance at courses and training in such institutions as may be acceptable to the Independent National Electoral Commission for periods totalling up to a minimum of one year, and

(iii) the ability to read, write, understand and communicate in the English language to the satisfaction of the Independent National Electoral Commission, and

(d) any other qualification acceptable by the Independent National Electoral Commission;
Simply put, You should never say you have WASC if you can't provide it.

Ladies shd be content and simply go into relationship because of love, however they define it. Love will always be capable to culminate in marriage whereas marriage may not always be able to culminate in love.

Yes...and they have the reserves to back them up...plus Qatar and the UAE have diversified economies....and small populations (now oil economies that do well have two things in common...diversified economies and small populations. Nigeria has neither).

Now...Saudi is surviving because of their high reserves.(and they could afford to save since they did not have a large population...unlike Nigeria). But if oil prices stay too low...look for the Saudis to suddenly start singing about the benefits of domestic technology.

Oil dependent economies look good on paper. Fact is....if the oil price drops...it gets worse. And worse.(Already Venezuela is in serious crisis...and Vladimir Putin of Russia spent the first twenty minutes of a press conference lamenting that he did not diverisfy Russia's economy)
Exactly!

- My take: Very high likelihood there will be
NO elections within the next 6 weeks as
recently rescheduled in accordance with
the Nigerian Constitution.
- My postulations: With attempts to
disqualify Rtd. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari
very rife, some power holders swearing he
will never be returned as president (at all
cost), the President residing the powers to
hire and fire the INEC chair, and with more
than enough money to buy the 2 other
arms of government, Nigeria may be
edging closer to anarchy.
What anarchy? You people talk as if the north has monopoly of capacity for violence. Does it ever occur to you that Dr. Jonathan is from Niger Delta?

So, JEGA should not go for leave as provided by the law? The president should not appoint another person as provided by the law?

It appears all the APC boys took after their AWAITING RESULT General in reasoning. You expect Dr. Jonathan to fold his hands and watch you people derail the country?
