Hello VO, I've asked this question before but you did not respond to it, please try your best to respond this time.

I'm a conditional permanent residence holder (CR) and I got the visa not more than 1 month ago.

My marriage is supposed to be 2 years by December 2016 so I can file to remove the conditional status but due to some personal reasons, me and my wife would want to leave the US to be back that december,

My question is, will absence from the US from June to November affect the removal of the Conditional status by december?

Although writing the Toefl/Ielts gives you a lot of options, there are still schools that waive the Toefl for Nigerians. All you need to do is peruse their website for info you require and mail grad coordinators if you need clarification. (I'm no guru sha oo, just say make I help small ni). Have you written the gre already?

I called University of South Carolina and they said they wave it for Nigerians

We'll from online findings, CNA jobs in nursing homes in NYC pay between $9.50 - $11/hr. People live on that but you're going to work your ass off to get enough that can sustain you. Its equivalent in hospital is patient care assistant (PCA), that pays between $14 - $17/hr but the bad news is that hospitals might not call unless you have at least 6 months experience as a CNA. With this, the decision is left to you.

embarassed embarassed sad news

Is it university or high school transcript

Well if it's high school transcript they will accept waec result card but university own must be official

Just check their website and click on Nigeria and you will get more info about which and how the transcript should be mail to them
Its University, thanks

Once u are in custody of the evaluated transcript,it's no longer deemed "official"...U can always request for a personal copy during your evaluation payment which will be sent to your home address.Once evaluated,u will have to pay about $25 to send an official copy to any Institution...However,for some schools, even after receiving your Evaluated ECE transcript, they still request u send another official transcript from your undergraduate school, speaking about my personal experience with NCAT and Troy univ....My advice is,simply scan a personal copy sent to u and send via e-mail to any school of yours for admission purposes and after you are admitted, you can order an official copy to the school..I hope this helps.

Clear, thanks

Hi, please I'm applying for my transcript evaluation at ECE, I want to request for 2 extra sealed copies which will be mailed to my address as Im still researching about the CC that I will enrol at.

My question is, will the schools still recognise the transcript as official if I mail them by myself when its still sealed with ECE seal when I want to apply?

Bro, please I have one more questn, my family that filed for me actually live in columbia and I dnt really want to stay there, can you advise a newbie like me to relocate to New york and start life there?

I plan to enroll for CNA program first, I heard 2weeks course is available, and while working as a CNA, I can then enroll for the courses in community college like you advised me.

Can I actually pay my rents and bills from the CNA and is there something like 2 weeks CNA course for real and are there jobs for them ?

@imperiouxx, please I still need your guidelines

Again, as a US resident, look for any community college or university around you. Enroll as a non degree student. Non degree means, you will only do the courses you chose and paid for. No strings attached. After gathering your prereqs, then start applying to univeristy for the accelerated BSN. For a traditional nursing program, you don't need the prereqs.

Don't waste your time and money. Enroll in class in a community college or university as a non degree to get those prereqs done then apply for accelerated BSN in a nursing school.

You've been very helpful, thanks

All nursing schools accept everyone. What prereq courses have you taken in your undergrad? Do you have at least 5 out of these required prerequisites: A&P I and II wt lab, microbiology wt lab, bio wt lab, chemistry wt lab, nutrition, statistics, (in some schools + general and abnormal psychology and sociology)? If you don't, you'll have to start from the beginning as a freshman. Some schools won't take biological sciences (A&P, bio and micro) that's more than 5 years or from outside North America. This is also the requirement for the 18 months accelerated BSN. Both private or public nursing schools are good. Many who have had a degree before go for the accelerated option after doing these prereqs but you need to know that accelerated pathway is rigorous.
Thanks bro

Yeah I understand, I will try to apply for the accelerated BSN to try it.

I also had about (ADN) Associates diploma which from google, they said I can do it for 2 years and become an RN.

Do you have an idea about this program, Do you suggest doing it first and then enrol for BSN after?

You'll most likely apply as freshman. EE and Nursing are 2 different fields from each other with entirely differing backgrounds and course works. You may or may not write TOEFL/IELTS depending on the school English requirements for international students you're applying to. Some schools waive TOEFL for Nigerians, some don't. And since you say you're a US resident already, the English requirement may be waived for you, also depending on where you did your secondary school (if in the US) or if you can prove that you are fluent enough in the English language.

Thanks alot bro, I got my resident not quite long, so all my studies has been in Nigeria.

Incase there is any Nursing schools which you know about that accepts Naija people a lot, please also let me know.

God bless your efforts.

One more quick question.

I want to migrate to New york or South carolina, or Charlotte and I need Nursing schools from any of these two locations.

From experiences, which of these 3 states will be better for me as new immigrant to live and study and then base there permanently?

Hi Visaofficer, I met my wife on a social site and we talked for months before she came here to visit me.
My petition has been approved and I want to make appointment for interview, do I need to print our email conversations ?
Also she do make videos and send to me before she came, do I need to burn the videos in a CD as proof of our relationship before she visited me
Or do I leave them in my phone?
Thank you
