Even if no IT got the last time. Remember u didn't apply that time. Our people say all fingers are not equal. So his favour on u might (rather I say WILL) not bdsame with those guys that didn't get in. So stay strong and have FAITHAndre92: Good day all.
I was just browsing today about the chances of one without connect to get this NNPC Job. During my search, I saw the 2011/2012 niajaland thread 'Your interview experience (GT and EH)' which is around 30 pages. I quickly skimmed through pages 1 to 23 until Apl calls started rolling in. Though the main platform then was NHJ but I realised most successful applicants studied engineering and some in finance related courses. I am really worried coz on that thread only one IT GT got in.
What is the fate of an IT GT in this recruitment? |

Not when it's a wrong transfer or a fraudulent transfer. Even if u don't have funds in Ur account. Ur account officer will call u to put back that money so they can regularise the said transaction. If u don't comply by putting back the money in Ur account (if u already withdrew and ate it.) Ur account can be 1. force debited.(reading in minus of that sum) 2. Placed on PND. and 3. Bvn sent to CBN for blacklisting. As pha NNPC, I bet the 3rd option can be applied cos no bank wants NNPC as a client off their books. CBN is doing everything possible to ensure people feel save to do online transaction for its cashless policy to work.larride: I mentioned this when I make enquiry but the response I got was bank cannot debit your account without your consent. |

My view in this is that KING went about the fund recall the wrong way. He could have got the excel sheets/payment Instruction, sort out the accounts that were duplicated and initiate a recall from his financial institution. That way, all monies will be recovered and there will be no debate on wether or not it's a scam or a case of integrating laundered/stolen money. It's not anyone's fault if they fail to comply. It does looks like money laundering. He might not be laundering the money, but it's still a fifty fifty kind of situation in which only HIM(king) can be sure if what he is doing. So let's just leave the matter till it comes through official channels. Ps. I wasn't paid twice oh
larride: If it was a scam, they won’t use that particular account. While I understand why some are reluctant to refund the money, a little due diligence hurt no one. I was among those that vehemently labeled it a scam until I got in touch with a friend that in work in a bank.
You cannot use that kind of account to run scam. The guy said it’s most likely an error from both the bank that process the payment or the one that authorized it as that kind of payment needs approval to go out. |

I doubt u are a lawyer. Because if u were, u wouldn't have typed all this. All because a judge said all parties should maintain status quo on a case, to allow one party time to prepare. muhamm3d: LOL. I get that people tend to be optimistic and all. But as a lawyer, I will simply opine that status quo ante bellum simply means that the parties should hands off the subject matter of the suit and the status of the parties revert to the time before the suit was instituted. Therefore, in relation to this case, parties return to the status before the test/interview was conducted. Consequently, the parties cannot do anything and any of the parties found wanting will be charged for contempt of court. I know NNPC's legal team knows the effect of such so they wouldn't dare do anything either under ground or above ground. 2ndly, as to the issue of the final judgement of the court. Notwithstanding the ratio decidendi of the court or Even if the court rules that nnpc has the legal and equitable right to cap the age at 28, the petitioner/lawyer may choose to appeal the judgement of the high Court and proceed to the court of appeal and if he is still not satisfied then proceed to the Supreme Court. I'm not trying to be a downer here but knowing the justice system in Nigeria it will probably take a minimum period of 4 to 5 years to proceed from the high court to the Supreme Court. A miracle might happen though cos hey, God is still alive. But I will just advice that if you can keep yourself busy try and do that cos it might take a little bit of time. Stay believing! |

Don't play premium if u are a new player in the market. Unless u are into fashion. To get a demand baseline, u have to cut price to increase supply. U can outrightly keep Increasing the price from time to time. People need to taste Ur brand and see quality, so striking with u won't be a problem. geektrovert: Aside.
@Jarus and other economists in the house. Something that has been bothering my mind.
In the current market conditions of Nigeria nowadays, is it better to play in the premium segment or mass market?
I mean, some brands play premium (their earnings model is based on higher brand value and higher GM - gross margin e.g Cocacola, Pampers), while others play to the volume (lower GM, but higher volume e.g. indomie, molfix, Bigi Cola)
What's your take on this guys? (Sorry I'm putting it on this thread) |

Sincere 9gerian: What an irony. When it comes to political rallies for selfish political ambitions Buhari and other leaders of the north will pull CROWD. But when it comes to solving national problems, like rein in on Boko Haram insurgents to stop the mayhem, leaders in the north become POWERLESS. Why cant northern leaders organise anti-Boko haram rallies in the north? Why cant APC governors of Borno and Yobe, alongside Buhari (as leader of APC in the north) organise anti-Boko haram rallies in affected states? Is it that they dont consider the Boko haram menace big enough to warrant such intervention? Wont it be to the credit of APC if thru such mobilizations the current mayhem in those states stops? Rather than participate in finding solutions to the problem, APC and Buhari are trying to ride on the back of the blood shed in those states to Aso Rock.
Anyway, since the political and religuous leaders in the north have decided to be lukewarm on this issue of Boko haram and if eventually the ongoing dialogue efforts fail, the govt will be left with no other option but to continue and INTENSIFY the military campaigns in affected states. One thing is certain, those who hope to climb to Aso Rock through the blood shed in the north will be FATALLY disappointed Shut up nd blame the right pple. Nt APC |

Boss13: Sanusi, you seem to forget all too soon that you were part of the banking system and also your top priority job is to boost confidence in the banking system. Your utterances sometimes, sanusi, makes me question your ability to lead. Fyi your recent and previous acts are scaring customers and potential investors away from the Nigerian banking industry. Customers are transferring their monies offshore. Honestly, I do not say there are no irregularities in the system - they are. However, don't be too quick to rush to the media. You are reporting yourself this man. It is only in Nigeria that banks post huge profits and no significant improvement in the economy. That alone is a huge indicator that something fishy is going on and that is the no 1 headache you need to cure.

thelastPope: Yaradua setup a high powered committee to find lasting solution to the ND crisis. The committee had the military hierachy, oil compnay representatives, FG officials and ND leaders as members. In the course of their meetings, the ND leaders proposed that the militants be granted amnesty and incoporated into the society. The report was presented to Yaradua. He refused it and increase the presence of the JTF. There was a cat and mouse game that went on for about a year. During this time, the oil production dropped to an all time low of 700, 000 barrels per day. An economic crisis was looming. The government had no choice. they needed something drastic. the only option left was to pull out the report and recommendation of the peace committee. Yaradua signed it and the rest is history. Yaradua never canvassed for amnesty. Yap. Bt he signed it, jonathan had no hand in it |
