Here’s a picture of limestone waste used on my driveway.

If you look at pic 1, you’d see standing water and a dry land. The dry land part is my side. No matter how heavy the rain, my driveway doesn’t get soaked or soggy.

Stonebase and stone dust would allow passthrough. Limestone waste doesn’t. It absorbs moisture.

Where can limestone waste be sourced, site is within ikorodu?

My advice for you is to stop the water before it stops you. Ensure you redirect the waste wasters far away from your property (at least 100m away) even if it means you’d do drainage for your neighbor or running underground pipes to a safer level for proposal disposal of the waste waters.

Good morningng everyone. I need your professional ideas please.
There is a 5 unit semidetached house of 3
and 2 bedroom flats. The Engineer constructed a single chamber septic tank to collect the solid waste from the toilet only and directed all the wastewater (bathroom and kitchen) and flood water to a pipe meant to be linked to a drainage channel outside the compound.
Now, none of the houses along the street has a draniage channel (most/all are low-cost buildings) and there is a concern that the next house might not continue a drainage channel if constructed in front of the building alone (90% probability because of several reasons).
Pls sirs, what can be done to collect and/or dispose this wastewater properly. The soil is made up of tiny pore lateritic sand.

Having follow both the Pro-Putin and Pro-Western analysts, I have the following questions to ask and I will love if anyone can give objective answers.

How do you think the present sanctions won't have a effect on Russian economy considering the fact that in less than one week after the sanctions their currency has falled by about 30%?

Yes, it is very possible. But as a contractor myself, I will advice that you pull up money to cover each phase of the construction process rather than planning to spend a percentage of the 100k salary monthly. You will eventually save more doing that.
A ROUGH sketch of what u should do:
Foundation = 800k
Super structure (window level) = 500k
Super structure (roof) = 600k
Roofing = 1m
Finishing = 800k
The process can will take years eventually (due to level of funding) but it will come out well if u complete it in phases and handled by a good professional.

Let's just assume least cost does not lead to least quality.
As your very first project coming from a family member it's paramount you don't do short cuts especially for the foundation of the build.

What is the nature of your land type?

I've taken the advice, all trenches will be excavated.

As a first time supervisor, I wouldn’t expect you to be looking for areas to compromise.
Foundation is a stage of work where everything need to be quality upfront.

The few naira’s you’ll save today might lead to structural failure that’ll cost your client a lot more tomorrow or in the future.

Do it right the first time.

It is a family member project so any amount saved is not my gain. I just want to do the right thing with the least cost. Thank you for the advice.

extend the two windows behind the entrainment center to the extreme so you can have enough space to mount the TV and it's accompanying accessories. as for the columns, every edge should have one. excavate all foundation walls, you don't want to have cracks on any wall without a footing, though it's not a rule cast in stone.

Good day everyone… I’m a first time project supervisor and I’m working on the plan attached. I want to reduce the area of excavation since a DPC will be provided for the structure. So I want to be appropriately guided by our experienced builders here. Please highlight the most important areas of excavation and placement of columns. Thank you sirs.
