If Lagos were to be located somewhere around east and Igbo historical relationship with Lagos happened to be what Yoruba is to Lagos today believe me Lagos would have been a true centre of excellence and melting point of all talents in Nigeria.

Lagos was a small state that looked up to Federal Government for any meaningful project up until 1999. Biggest state project of the poster Boy Buba Marwa before 1999 was tricycle (Keke Marwa and Estate of 100 houses) until Asiwaju came in to revolutionize Lagos Governance. Lagos upped it's revenue from 600m to about 70B at the moment.

Lagos could now takenon Metro line projects, Deep see port, FTAs, 16 lanes from Badagry, projects that Federal Government itself would shake at embarking on.

Coming from its first contact with the whites, to when it looked on Buhari who cancelled the Metro line contract in Jakande's regime, Raji Rasaki, Marwa to Post Tinubu era. Lake us broke off from Nigeria's scope of a state to become 4th largest economy in Africa. It's Bonds rated same with that of the Federal Government of Nigeria.
